Reborn After Betrayal: The Frail True Princess Decides to Give Up-Chapter 41 : Thank You, Sophia

Chapter 41

Despite Celitia's fragile appearance, this punch, delivered with concentrated force, still carried some power.
She pretended to be careless but was actually deliberate, catching Kassy off guard and hitting the softest part of her abdomen.
"Ah!!"
Kassy let out a painful cry on the spot, doubling over in pain.
Celitia took the opportunity to push Kassy hard, attempting to escape.
Kassy stumbled backward half a step, but seeing Celitia about to run, she ignored the pain and lunged forward, tightly embracing her.
They were too close together. Even with her countless techniques, Celitia couldn't evade. Kassy grabbed her waist, and Celitia fell backward with the force.
Thud!
With a loud noise, Celitia fell squarely onto the bed, her head hitting the wall behind her, making her dizzy and disoriented.
"Kassy, have you lost your mind?!"
In excruciating pain, Celitia couldn't help but curse.
"I only wanted to help Master change clothes," Kassy was also aggrieved. "But Master hit me, it hurts so much, Kassy is really heartbroken..."
"I told you to get out long ago! Yet you keep clinging to me!!"
"I won't leave. I said I would wait for Master to change your mind."
Kassy bit her lip, her body firmly pressing down on Celitia, her hands tightly gripping Celitia's arms, slowly crawling up a few inches.
Looking down at the furious face of the girl beneath her, Kassy felt an indescribable tremor activate from deep within her heart, flowing with her blood, quickly spreading throughout her body.
Wanting to possess her...
To possess her again.
"I will definitely make Master accept me again... accept all of me..."
Kassy murmured, gradually lowering her head, her rosy lips drawing closer to the girl's.
"Get off!!"
With her body pinned by Kassy, unable to move, Celitia used all her strength to try and headbutt her.
But just as she moved her neck, sharp pain shot through the injured part of her head where it had hit the wall, causing her vision to darken.
The strength she had gathered was disrupted at that moment, her tense body going limp. Celitia could only watch helplessly as Kassy leaned in to kiss her.
Celitia had never imagined she would ever be in such a pathetic situation. If her glare could kill, Kassy would have been pierced like a sieve long ago.
She was so angry that her chest began to hurt, as if a ball of fire erupted, burning her lungs inch by inch.
At the same time, Kassy let out a short cry of surprise. Halfway through her downward kiss, she was forced to stop.
She clutched her chest with one hand, staring at Celitia in disbelief.
"Master... you...!"
Celitia clearly saw dots of black spots rising from Kassy's fingers pressed against her chest, spreading outward as if they had a life of their own.
"Stop it!" Kassy shrieked, violently shaking Celitia's shoulders, her voice shrill. "Make it stop!!"
But Celitia had no way to help.
If she had known how to control the curse, would she have been tormented by it for so many years?
"Let me go..."
Repeatedly shaken by Kassy, Celitia had virtually no strength left, only managing to utter a feeble sentence from her throat.
Kassy grew increasingly desperate, reaching out to choke Celitia's neck, her long, sharp nails embedding into the girl's fair skin, leaving several deep bloody scratches.
Just then, the locked door was kicked open with tremendous force, making a thunderous crash.
The wooden door shattered into five pieces from the center, splinters flying everywhere, falling heavily to the ground.
"What are you doing?!"
As the voice rang out, a figure flashed to their side in an instant, throwing a punch with all her might that landed squarely on Kassy's left cheek.
The elf's beautiful face caved in from the punch, and her entire body flew like a kite with its string cut, solidly crashing into the nearby wall, creating a depression, before slumping to the ground like a pile of mud.
"...Cough cough... cough cough cough..."
Celitia covered her neck, coughing violently, her vision so blurred she could barely make out the outline of the person before her.
However, she once again smelled the faint familiar flower fragrance, which had a particularly reassuring quality.
"...Sophia?" she asked hoarsely.
"Are you alright, Celitia?"
Sophia anxiously bent down to look at her, trying to lift Celitia from the bed.
The girl's light ashen-gray long curly hair was spread in disarray, her head leaning vulnerably in the crook of Sophia's arm, leaving a bright streak of blood on her pure white sleeve.
"You're bleeding!!"
Sophia was so frightened her heart nearly jumped out of her chest. She lifted Celitia, intending to rush to the hospital.
"It's nothing," Celitia breathed in urgently, touching the wound on the back of her head. "I hit the wall and it's bleeding, but the wound isn't big, it should be fine… Don't you know a bit of healing magic... just heal me a little... and I'll be fine... no need to take me to the hospital..."
Celitia tried to make her voice steady, attempting to convince Sophia, her long eyelashes trembling slightly as she endured the pain.
In truth, Celitia really didn't want others to see her in such a weak state.
Even though she was no longer that powerful figure standing at the pinnacle, but merely a frail girl who would be out of breath after running a few steps.
When injured, one should hide alone, lick one's wounds, and emerge stronger than before.
That's how it should have been.
Yet, there were always people who approached her at these times, insisting on meddling in her affairs.
With Sophia, Celitia had already given up resistance, forced to get used to her closeness.
"But," Sophia was reluctant, "I've only learned the basics of healing magic, and it's not always effective..."
"It's enough," Celitia closed her eyes wearily, her voice carrying a plea. "I really don't want to go to the hospital a third time..."
This was the first time Sophia had heard such a softened plea from Celitia. Her resolve immediately shattered, forcing her to completely reconsider.
"Then I'll give it a try."
Sophia nervously swallowed, reciting an incantation. White light emanated from her fingertips as she attempted to heal Celitia.
The healing spell clearly had some effect. The pain from Celitia's wound lessened significantly, it stopped bleeding, and her pale lips regained a hint of color.
"This level is too poor... maybe we should still go find Mahee..."
Sophia was too ashamed to lift her head. Any nun from the church could have fully healed the bump on Celitia's head, while all she had managed was to stop the bleeding.
"It's truly enough."
Celitia felt some strength returning to her body and pressed her hand on the back of Sophia's, giving her a very faint smile.
"Thank you, Sophia."
"...!"
Hearing her name from Celitia's lips for the second time, Sophia's body trembled slightly. She felt her heart racing uncontrollably, pounding like a drum.
