While reminiscing does bring him happiness, Adam doesn’t want to rely on it as a source of happiness.
He did that before regressing; he was never happy and lived his life like a routine, performing the same task over and over again, with no friends to hang out with and no life partner to return to.
The only time he felt happy was when he reminisced about the good times he had.
Adam doesn’t want to fall back into that same routine again; that’s why he is trying to pick up different hobbies so that he never falls into a robot-like routine of nothingness again.
Adam opens the restaurant right on time, and soon customers start pouring in. Leila and Cassie also arrive and quickly change into their uniforms to join Adam and help him around.
During the morning service, Adam notices that Leila and Cassie are much more chatty than usual. On top of that, Leila hasn’t been hovering around him like she used to, clearly not wanting him to hear the conversations they are having.
But Adam’s sharp ears rarely miss anything.
It’s as clear as day to Adam that Cassie is trying to manipulate Leila into a situation where both of them share him. Cassie is instilling a sense of fear into Leila that if she doesn’t like Adam fuck other girls, he will stop paying attention to her.
And that by being open about it and letting Adam have other girls, he would favor her much more.
Adam has to give it to Cassie. She is much younger than Leila, but she is so much shrewder than Leila as well. She made use of Leila’s own attachment she felt towards Adam to shove herself between her and Adam.
Leila clearly has a lot of issues. Daddy issues, abandonment issues, trust issues, and so much more. And Adam managed to smash through her defenses and take her for himself.
And now, she is head over heels for Adam and is willing to do anything to keep Adam in her life.
Cassie, being the manipulative bitch that she is, is using Leila’s own fears to insert herself right in between Leila and Adam, because that’s what Adam told her to do.
He told her he won’t touch her unless she gets Leila to agree to it. Adam just didn’t expect Cassie would go above and beyond to manipulate Leila to such a degree.
It won’t be long before Leila is completely under Cassie’s control, as she will do everything Cassie tells her to do because she will truly believe Cassie has her best interest when it comes to Adam.
But Adam knows the truth. He knows Cassie is a manipulative bitch who only cares about herself and her own desires. She already has her poor boyfriend in the grasp of her hand, letting the poor guy think she loves him, but little does he know that she is only dating him so that she can cheat on him with other men.
That’s how twisted her desires are. And right now, she wants nothing more than to get fucked by Adam, as he is the only one who sees the real her, the side of her she had tried to hide all her life.
Knowing that there is someone who sees the real her and isn’t disgusted by it turns her on more than anything in the world.
Adam looks at the relationship that’s developing between Leila and Cassie and decides to let it foster because he feels no threat from it.
Cassie’s whole manipulation of Leila is based on his influence over her. No matter how deep Cassie gets into Leila’s head, one word from Adam and all of Cassie’s work will go to waste.
At the end of the day, Adam will always remain the most important person in Leila’s life, and she will do anything he tells her to do.
As for why Adam is letting Cassie manipulate Leila? Well, it’s for his own benefit. Adam’s not a good guy in any way, and as much as he likes Leila, he also has a desire for other women. He is not someone who will settle down with a woman just because he likes her.
Cassie’s manipulation of Leila works in his favor. The more Cassie drills the idea of sharing Adam with other women into Leila’s head, the easier it will be for Adam to continue with his other affairs.
He likes all of the girls, some more than others, but he is also selfish enough to want them all, so he will let Leila continue to go down this path Cassie is taking her, and once she is deep enough, he will walk in and break the hold Cassie has on Leila.
But that’s not all. He will also have to punish Cassie for being the manipulative bitch that she is, and Adam knows how to really break a woman like Cassie.
She has always gotten what she has wanted. Whether it is love and admiration of her family, friends, or strangers. Any guy she has wanted has said yes to her, and when she is bored with them, she manipulates her way out of that relationship, leaving those boys broken.
So Adam’s going to deprive Cassie of one thing she wants the most right now. Him.
She is doing all of this just because she wants to cheat on her boyfriend with Adam. Someone superior in every way to any man she has ever met in her life.
He will watch Cassie’s desperation rise until she is completely lost. For the first time in life, she will experience what it is like to not get what she wants, and it will break a narcissistic girl like her.
And only when she is at her lowest will Adam entertain her, giving her a taste. He will break her, make her addicted to him. He will strip Cassie of her ego, her narcissism, her mask. He will make everyone in Cassie’s life see who she really is.
By the time he is done with her, she will no longer be the girl she pretends to be or the one she really is. She will be nothing but a slut addicted to his cock.
And just like that, Adam has decided Cassie’s fate while she has no clue about it.
Adam watches Cassie as she puts on her best innocent but charming smile and greets the customers who just walked in. The customers feel delighted seeing such a charming waitress receive them, improving their mood in an instant.
Adam smirks, seeing how good Cassie is when it comes to influencing others with her fake mask.
Soon, the morning service ends, and Adam eats his lunch with the girls before bidding goodbye to Leila with a kiss. As for Cassie, she will have to just watch for now.

Getting into his car, he drives to his gym.
Arriving before the gym, he notices a few things have changed. He parks his car in his usual spot and approaches the gym. At the gate, he sees the sign - Gym Shut Down.
It’s final.
Even the banners of the gym’s name have been taken down.
Adam sighs and slides the door open, and walks in. The inside of the gym is empty.
It looks abandoned. Well, since it’s shutting down for good, Adam doesn’t expect anything else.
He looks around and sees no one.
’Let’s get changed before I look for them,’ He thinks and enters the locker room to change into his training uniform before walking out again. Luckily, he doesn’t have to go looking for anyone as Lamai walks into the gym.
Seeing Adam, Lamai feels a wave of emotion wash over him.
The gym is shutting down. Her father no longer has a way to make money, but he still wants to train Adam and make him a world champion.
Lamai doesn’t understand her father’s obsession. This path might have given him everything, but it has also taken away everything he ever had. Is this all really necessary?
Her father could leave this life behind and start anew. Sell all this gym equipment and turn this building into a general store or something. It would at least give him a means of earning money.
But her stubborn father refuses to do it. He is hell bent on using this gym to train Adam.
"You are here," She says, approaching Adam.
Adam can see that Lamai is not in a good mood.
"I am. Where’s your dad?" Adam asks.
"He will be here in half an hour; till then, let’s run some drills," Lamai says, sounding defeated.
"Are you okay?" Adam asks.
Lamai meets Adam’s gaze, hearing his question. Her eyes quiver with a complicated gaze as she doesn’t know how to answer Adam.
"You don’t need to worry about it. You should focus on your training," Lamai says, deciding not to speak about her situation.
"I don’t think there will be much training to be done if my coach is distracted. Out with it already, we are friends after all," Adam says.
Lamai looks at Adam and sighs again.
"Okay, fine..." she says and begins telling Adam how her father is being a stubborn fool by not wanting to rent out this building or sell it for money, and how he wants to use the gym to train Adam.
Adam also didn’t expect Rangsan would be so hell bent on coaching Adam that he would be willing to risk a massive source of income.
Xang Lao forced Rangsan to close his gym, but that doesn’t mean he can’t rent the building to someone else to do business.
Just like Lamai explained, Rangsan is being a fool.
’He is really hell bent on making me a champion, isn’t he?’ Adam wonders as he stares at the defeated look on Lamai’s face.
