"Ah Zhen, it’s been a month since Fifth Sister left. Have there been any letters?" Ning Yumei suddenly asked, setting the ginseng tea she was holding back onto the stone table, a few lines of worry creeping onto her forehead.
In the deep bamboo grove, the branches and leaves gently swayed. It was supposed to be a time of leisure and pleasure, yet Ning Yumei’s heart was unsettled.
Since Ning Yumei’s health had improved significantly, it was no problem for her to walk around by herself, and Ah Chen rarely had time to sit with her. "That would be great. I’ve always hoped you could help," Ah Chen said. "If you feel there are no other discomforts with your body, you could help keep an eye on some shops in the Capital City right now. I’m handling everything alone, and it’s really a bit overwhelming, I can’t manage all of it."

This was going to blow up.
By the time her letter arrives, the matter would likely be settling down.
