Chapter 1154: 1151: Spirit Bodies
"Enough! No more quarrelling between you two. Do you understand me?"
As Corey’s cold voice resounded in the Forge, Prima and Primus flinched, and the childish anger in both of them vanished much faster than it came.
Corey looked at both of them, and although they did not have human appearances, Corey knew that they had sunken faces.
He could not help but sigh.
Now he felt bad for shouting at two of them. They were literally just kids.
"Alright. See, sorry for my raising my voice at you two, but you guys have to stop fighting all the time."
Primus floated slightly in the air and pointed at Prima.
"She started it."
Prima vehemently shook her head. "No uh. Liar. You did."
"You were the one that mocked me when I was telling Papa about how strong I am now. You said I’m a baby for telling Papa."
"Cause you are! Why don’t you just jump and shout "Pick me! Pick me! Pick me!" And you called me a baby first. I’m just having my revenge." Prima folded her arms and raised her chin up, and Corey could have sworn he saw a smug smile on her ’face’.
Primus trembled violently in rage, then he shouted.
"You- you- you’re the baby! You’re a big baby!"
Prima ’sneered’. "Do you want to cry? Do you want to cry, baby Primus?"
"You- you- you..."
Corey covered his face with his eyes, and he released an exhausted sigh as Primus and Prima seemed to reach a point where they were about to exchange blows.
"Stop it." He said with a cold and frustrated tone.
"But-"
Prima tried to talk, but Corey cut him off.
"I said stop it. I told you guys that no more fighting."
Prima looked at Corey and said innocently.
"We’re not fighting, Papa. We’re only arguing using words. If we fought, we’ll destroy everywhere."
Corey’s lips twitched, and just as he was about to talk, Primus spoke.
"Exactly, Papa. And we don’t want that since you’re still too weak. We might mistakenly kill you."
A vein popped in Corey’s forehead, and he gave Primus a smile that was not a smile.
"Shut up both of you."
"Yes, Papa!" They replied instantly and at the same time, and Pamela who had been watching all of this with a strange expression was surprised when the two troublesome kids answered at the same time and instantly kept quiet.
What she didn’t know was that they had seen Corey’s thoughts the moment he told them to keep quiet, and his thoughts terrified them.
He had thought of a dozen ways to punish them, and each punishment sent chills down their spines.
Corey looked at Prima and Primus, and he could not help but remember his parents.
Was this how it felt when they had to deal with him?
Were they always so frustrated all the time?
How did they cope when he and Anna were just children?
Corey had so many questions for his parents, but unfortunately, they were gone.
And what Corey did not know was that actual children were far more stressful.
"Show me your spirit bodies. You guys have been hiding it from me, right? Show me so that I can see it."
Prima and Primus looked at one another, then they nodded.
"Alright, Papa."
Golden lightning flashed across their bodies, then a blinding light flashed in the Forge for a second, causing Corey and Pamela to close their eyes.
They both opened their eyes, and their eyes widened slightly in the next moment as they saw the spirit bodies of Primus and Prima.
The first thing that slightly surprised Corey and stunned Pamela was the size of their spirit bodies.
Prima and Primus’ spirit bodies were as tiny as their pinky.
They flew toward Corey and stopped right in front of his face, and Corey was able to get a good look at them.
He first looked at Primus, and the first thing that caught his attention was the crown on Primus’ head.
Primus had a golden crown of swords that slowly rotated, and what connected the swords was a thing golden bolt of lightning.
And then Primus’ face.
Primus’ bore an uncanny resemblance to his current face, and if one stared at Primus, they would think he was a carbon copy of Corey when he was extremely young.
However, Primus’ eyes were different.
Primus’ eyes were made out of crystal clear glass, and his pupils were crystal clear glass swords.
And his hair.
His hair was long and was a mixture of black and white, just like Corey’s.
And his body was as fair as snow. He wore a pair of black shorts with a sleeveless black tank top and no footwear, making him to look like a boxer or a modern day martial artist.
Corey observed Primus for a few more moments before he then looked at Prima.
And just like Primus, Prima also had a unique appearance.
And the first thing he took note of were the swirling interlocked three smoky glassy rings around Prima.
She was surrounded by these three rings, and Corey was extremely curious about what these three rings were and what they could do.
But he didn’t ask for now.
’Primus has a crown of swords, but Prima has three rings surrounding her... No... Protecting her.’
’I thought Primus’ crown of weapons had no significance and was just an accessory, but it turns it might not be.’
Corey looked at Prima’s face, and his pupils trembled when he saw her face.
Prima’s greatly resembled that of his mother, and although he could see the slight differences in her face, it was obvious that Prima took the appearance of his mother.
’I wonder how Anna would react if she saw Prima.’
Corey closed his eyes and released a soft sigh before he continued his observation of her appearance.
Unlike Primus who had unique eyes, Prima had completely black eyes with a white ring at the center.
Her hair was completely black, and unlike Primus who was fair skinned, she was chocolate skinned.
And she wore a pure white gown that reached all the way to the ankles of her feet. And just like Primus, she wore no footwear.
Corey once again looked at her face which resembled that of his mother, then he shook his head and asked with a curious tone.
"The three rings surrounding you and your eyes. Also..." He looked at Primus. "Your crown of swords and your eyes..."
He looked at the two of them.
"What are their uses?"
