"Whew, I’m beat! That was a pretty eventful day, huh?" I remarked, as I flopped onto my bed with a sigh, stretching my arms out as I rolled over.
"Yeah, even though I already knew all of this was going to happen, it didn’t really sink in until today. Being at our new Guild building, meeting the other members, all of it made these changes feel real, you know what I mean?" Responded Aria, as she laid down beside me.
"I get that, it’s all honestly got me feeling kinda stressed," I admitted sheepishly, before adding curiously, "By the way, why were you so quiet when we were speaking with the two newbies?"
"Huh? Oh, I was watching you, it really looked like you’d settled into your new role as Guildmaster already, it was pretty cool," She replied with a grin.
It was around 8 PM right now, and we were back home, having spent most of the day at the Guild.
A lot of the other members of the Guild also showed up, and by the end of the day, we’d met most of the Hunters who had been assigned to the Sinners Guild.
Tracy sent me the list of Guild members in the evening, we’ve got a total of twenty-six K-Ranks, ten Q-Ranks and four Aces, so we’ve got forty members, plus the three Apostles of Sin.
It’s a fair bit less than the other two Guilds, they’ve each got around sixty to seventy Hunters each, but our average rank is a lot higher.
We’d planned out and scheduled some training sessions over the week, particularly for the two rookie Aces that just graduated from the Academy.
They’re both insanely talented, but I can’t forget that they’re still very inexperienced, so we can’t afford to rush them into anything too soon.
Whatever time we have before the Dungeons start appearing again, we have to make full use of.
"I suppose we’ll have to show our faces at the Guild pretty often, huh?" Aria sighed wistfully, before nomming on my earlobe as she snuggled up to me.
"Yeah, I suppose so. Even though Tracy will be doing most of the work, it’d probably make for a bad impression if the heads of the Guild don’t show up that often. Well, it’s not like we’ve got anything else to do," I shrugged in response.
"Heh, true. By the way, beyond just training the others, we should make time to train ourselves too. Let’s go outside the Sanctuary with a safety barrier and spar," She suggested thoughtfully.
"Sounds good, we have to hold back a lot when we train or spar indoors, we’re more likely to improve more effectively if we can spar at a greater level of intensity, without having to worry about collateral damage and whatnot," I nodded in agreement.
"What about that guy, Brid, you said he’s at X-Ace level when he’s at full power, right? Think it’s safe to have him spar indoors?"
"Hm, good question...I suppose I could have Acedia spar against him and see how it goes, we can put an immediate stop to it if it looks too dangerous.
And if it comes to that, we’ll have to have him spar outside as well. Maybe we should ask to Union to build us a training space in an isolated area, we shouldn’t have any trouble funding that ourselves," I mused prudently.
"Yeah, that’s a good idea. Like, an old parking lot or something, with no buildings too close by. I remember seeing one pretty close to the Guild when we were heading back home," Recalled Aria after a brief pause.
"Alright, then, I’ll message the Chairwoman," I responded, as I brought up my I-Watch display.
"Okay. On another note, I wonder how effective the Apostles of Sin will be as trainers? Think they’ll do okay at it?"
"I suppose we’ll find out soon enough. Hm, I should probably tell Luxuria not to use her Demonic Art, it’s basically a stronger version of my Lust Skills," I replied with a wry smile.
"Yeah...hey, speaking of which, how come you’ve never used your Lust Skills on me?" She inquired curiously.
"Huh?"
"Well, um...Luxuria told me it feels even better when you use those Skills, so why haven’t you used them on me?"
"I mean...I haven’t really felt the need to. I always feel so turned on and aroused when we mess around, so yeah. I figured maybe I could save it for later, if we ever want to spice things up or something," I explained with a smile.
"I guess that makes sense...I am curious what it feels like, though. Can you use them on me?" She requested in fascination.
"Yeah, alright, I don’t mind. Suppress your Status Effect Immunity, like you do when you drink or have a joint, otherwise it won’t work. Ready? Okay, here I go...<Aphrodisia>. Followed by, <Arouse>," I chanted, as I placed my hand on her.
"W-Woah...yeah, I suddenly feel really turned on, like I do when we really get going. I guess it’s like a shortcut if we want to skip the foreplay, it should be useful if we’re in a rush," She replied, her face flushed.
"Mhm, yeah, I-...," I began, before trailing off as she put her leg around me and nuzzled my neck, slipping a hand under my shirt.
"Since you took the trouble of using the Skills, we shouldn’t waste them, right?" She smiled with a gleam of desire in her eyes, tracing her fingers across my abdomen.
"Alright, sure," I smirked, before pulling her on top of me and kissing her nose softly, before she leaned down and pressed her lips against mine, tenderly caressing my cheek with her hand.
She shifted her hips as I wrapped my arms around her, squeezing her sides as she bit and pulled on my lower lip, tracing the tip of her tongue across it as she lifted my shirt up, running her hands over my bare torso teasingly, before rocking her hips as I grabbed her ass and squeezed firmly.
"Mm...I love you, Kai."
"I love you too, Aria."
"Now, let’s hurry up and get our clothes off, shall we?"
"No objections here."
