Chapter 13

Siren’s Cry [A LITRPG Adventure]-Ch. 11

The first one is what used to be the revenant's fang, but is now blunted and polished with a silver base.

Serpent's Shaft (Rare, Utility)
A ten-inch long dildo made from the fang of a Greater Shadeblight Serpent. When stimulated, it produces a mild aphrodisiac. Can be adhered to a surface by supplying mana. When sufficiently stimulated, it will produce a significant amount of a powerful aphrodisiac. Can change thickness by supplying mana.

I smile happily as I stroke the smooth shaft for a moment, watching as a glistening pink liquid beads on the tip. I try feeding it mana, just to see how thick I can make it, and the answer is VERY thick. It stops accepting more mana only when it reaches about four inches thick, which is almost thicker than my arm. My mind swirls with lust, but I put it away for now to check the next item. A thick ebony-scaled leather collar, a silver clasp holding it shut.
-==×==-
Serpent's Servant (Rare, Accessory)
A collar created from the scales of a Greater Shadeblight Serpent. While worn, allows the wearer to designate a ‘master’. The master can order the wearer to do anything that does not conflict with the wearer's morals or ideals. If the command is not obeyed, a powerful aphrodisiac will be produced along the inside of the collar. The wearer can remove the collar at any time. When supplied mana, the wearer can temporarily take the form of a massive serpent.

Also very fun, and seeing no reason not to, I proceed to put the collar on. It's surprisingly comfortable, not too tight but not loose enough to move around at all. For shits and giggles, I try to set myself as my own master, and as I expected nothing happens. Testing the snake form, I feel a large drain on my mana before the sensation of my body squeezing heralds a massive shift. Black scales ripple down my body, filling out into a near-exact mirror of the shadeblight serpent. The main difference, however, is that my scales turn ocean blue when viewed from the right angle, and my own fangs are gleaming white instead of shiny black. I can feel the sheer strength in this form, and checking my stats confirms what I thought. My race has changed to Tideblight Serpent, with a marker next to it noting it as temporary, and my magic stats have been moved into my physical ones except for will. All my physical stats are at 35, except for speed which is at 40.
Makes sense, I can't really cast magic like this. It'll be useful if I ever need a lot of physical stats for something.
Shifting back to normal, I decide to leave the collar on for now as I look to the final piece of loot. An intricately patterned corset dress, scales and cloth parted for my tail and wings. The skirt itself comes down to just below my knees, and silver thread weaves throughout the entire thing. I eagerly identify it, and I'm not disappointed by what I find.

Nesuskape (Uncommon, Growth Armour)
An ornate corset dress crafted from the scales of a Greater Shadeblight Serpent. It resists most blunt and magic damage. It passively absorbs ambient mana to refill its own reserves. In response to severe danger, it can temporarily animate nearby shadows to assist in battle. This can only be done once per charge. All non-sentient serpent-type creatures will see the wearer as an ally and remain neutral unless provoked. When conditions for growth are met, Nesuskape will advance to Rare rarity.

I instantly discard the simple dress I just made and toss it into my pouch, dressing in my new growth armor as I laugh in happiness. Of all the things to earn from Lecherous Looter, a growth item was not among what I expected. Pulling my cutlass out and forming a reflective sheet of mana, another ping tells me I just learned the spell Mirror. Ignoring it, I look at myself, admiring the ‘pirate mage’ look I have going on. With the fancy yet practical dress and glowing curved blade, I looked more at home on the deck of a ship than on land. I can't help but chuckle as I remember the mythology of a siren from Earth, being mermaid or bird-like creatures that lure sailors to their doom. Turning away from my menus and back to the corpse, I conjure several blades and as many hands to assist as I begin to skin the beast. It only takes a few minutes to gather the skin and fangs, carefully wrapping them in silk before storing them. The distant shrieks of more revenants spur me onwards, hurrying back to the smithy that I've commandeered. Once secure inside, I pull up my status to see all the gains I've had today.

Grinning at my much longer status, I begin to sift through what all the new skills do. Some are self explanatory, such as the weapons mastery and rapid conjuration, with one increasing the ease with which I wield melee weapons and the other decreasing the time it takes to create constructs. The new physique passive is just an overall improvement of the old two skills, having the function of both and allowing me to reinforce my body with mana. Mana Blitz fires a rapid burst of condensed mana needles, like what I was doing with my constructs but more efficient, and the hydromancy skill allows me to create and manipulate water better than the other two skills I had. And now for the final skill, which took several moments to understand despite its simplicity.

Siren's Cry (Active)
A racial skill of the extinct Sirens. Imbue your vocal chords with mana, entrancing nearby foes. Alternatively, release a howl of pure torment and inflict heavy psychic damage in addition to deafening them.
-==×==-
Huh. I have mind magic now, which I probably should have expected with my race being named ‘siren’. Pulling up the skill choices, I ignore the class skills since again, I have two manuals to sift through still. Scrolling idly through the general skill list, I have an intrusive thought surface. I just got several new skills, plus I still need to train with my old ones, so why not get a partner for Lecherous Looter?
As it turns out, there's an entire section solely for sexual skills, which I have a good laugh about before beginning my search. I think about what skill I want as I scroll, and decide on one that I can use both by myself and with a partner. After far too much deliberation for something like this, I make my choice.
-==×==-
Deviant Form (Passive)
Allows all orifices and organs to stretch up to twice their normal limit without causing damage. Doubles ejaculation amount.
-==×==-
I moan softly as a pleasant heat flares through my privates, the passive taking effect immediately. I almost strip right then, but I resist in favor of finally practicing true summoning rather than conjuration. Crouching down in the empty smithy, I begin to trace a large circle with a thin stream of mana. A triangle fills the middle, and another overlaps it to form a hexagram. Smaller circles are drawn at each of the six points, and then I get to work on the actual runes. None of these would do anything by themselves, however when linked together like this form a framework to cast a summoning spell.
It took a while of thinking and refining the lines before I was satisfied and ready to add the ritual components. The first one I add is my cutlass, knowing I can always make another. The ritual acknowledges the offering, a pale blue light holding the sword in place above the circle. Next, I add a large patch of scales from the snake, hoping for a reptilian summon of some sort. A fang follows, and both are accepted to fill the first three slots. The fourth is filled with an orb of mana-infused water that I conjure, and the fifth is filled with an alchemical concoction that I created the day before. I had been experimenting with the corrupted blood and blighted marrow that I found in the dungeon, and when I mixed the two with some conjured mana-infused water and cast Purify on the entire thing, I ended up with a vial of pale gray liquid that looks like liquid steel.
-==×==-
Potion of Ironflesh (Uncommon, Consumable)
A potion created by an amateur alchemist using rudimentary methods. Temporarily turns the imbiber’s flesh as hard and dense as iron. Lasts for 20 seconds.
-==×==-
The rarity of the ingredients had been reduced by the poor methods and poorer skill used to make it, but it had actually turned into something somewhat useful. Setting it to float above its slot, I step onto the final space. Kneeling down once more, I begin to feed mana into the ritual as the light blue glow slowly shifts to match my attuned mana. The cutlass dissolves, solidified mana breaking down to fuel the ritual. The scales and fang are next, crumbling into dust and melding into the orb of water. The vial shatters, glass vaporizing as the contents fuse with the other four components. Remnants of the cutlass swirl around the shifting blob of power, fusing into it until it gains a luminous glow. With a blinding flash, the amorphous mass takes on a true physical form as the Create Familiar ritual completes.
