"You have a more powerful spell than that, right?" Reena asked as she turned towards him.
"Oh, that wasn’t powerful?" Roman asked, surprised at the question, and even Reena couldn’t ask any more questions as she turned away.
"That is no problem, you can train more to increase your Mana output, and control" The mage spoke.
’Look at their faces, I’m pretty sure they’re disappointed, maybe I should do something else...ohh, I’ll try this’ Roman mumbled in his head as he bent down and picked a pebble from the ground.
Nobody saw what he picked as he closed it between his hands then he spoke, "Can I try again, something more powerful this time"
"Go right ahead, the girls have already tested theirs, so it’s all yours," The mage spoke.
Once again, the girls infused Mana in their eyes to see his spell circle, but Roman was a step ahead, and before he cast any spell, he first cast one.

Conceal was an illusion spell, so naturally, the spell circle was hidden; the girls had no idea he had cast or could cast the spell. Then, with both of his hands covering the stone, he cast the next two spells at once.

The stone in his hands was shaped like a fling stone by the spell and shot out from his hands towards the dummy.
The stone impacted with explosive force, shattering into pieces. The girl’s eyes widened as the paper burned, stopping just close to the end.
’Damn, I had no idea this had this much firepower, I guess that’s what happens when you combine two good spells,’ Roman muttered in his head.
The girls all turned towards, and Roman had a smile on his face. He didn’t say anything and just stared at them.
"You had a spell like this, why did you use that weak spell then?" Reina asked.
"Weak spell, I thought you said it was ok" Roman replied.
"I didn’t want you to feel bad but the spell was weak, but this one, it was even stronger than Aurelia’s sword infused with Mana"
"Oh, looks like we’re going to witness an incredible battle tomorrow" Ava spoke.
"I didn’t use any enchantment on my sword; if I did, it would definitely be stronger than this," Aurelia said.
"How did you do that, there was no spell circle?" Reena asked.
"That’s right, I’m also curious, how did you cast without a spell circle?" Ava asked but Roman just flashed a smile.
"I’ll leave you girls to figure it out"
Reena faced away. At first, she thought Roman was weak, but this spell had shown that he wasn’t. If he had more spells like this, she wasn’t sure she would stand a chance.
’I would lose to a male in a duel... Why am I making myself nervous? This must be his best spell. Even though it’s powerful, I doubt he can fire it many times. Reena consoled herself.
The mage who was with them didn’t speak after that, and the smile on her face had faded away. Not that she was angry, but something was wrong; she wasn’t like the rest of the students, and she was a powerful mage.
She noticed Roman’s spell wasn’t just a flame spell, but also an earth spell. Even though she didn’t see his spell circle, she saw the spell before it impacted the dummy, and it was a stone.
’I thought he only had flame attribute...or maybe he lied about his attribute, also how come he didn’t use spell circle...too many questions, and he isn’t even paying attention to me’
’I wish I had an excuse to go to his room, I’m sure I can seduce him but I can’t think of anything to do there’
"I’m turning it for the night. I just came to see if you girls were training," Roman spoke as he began walking away.
"When does Roman find the time to train, I mean, isn’t he supposed to be training like Reena, or is he so sure he would win?" Ava spoke, and Reena let out a sound, and Ava turned towards her.
"I’ll put up a good fight, I’m definitely not going to lose," Reena muttered in a low voice, and Ava laughed.
"I don’t think you have much to worry about. This might be Roman’s strongest spell, and he might be able to fire it only once. You have a lot of good spells, so I still think you’d win," Aurelia spoke.
"Same" Ava added.
Roman left the girls and walked back to his room with a smile on his face. The combination spell he pulled off made a smile appear on his face, and even better was the fact that it didn’t consume much of his Mana.
Which means he could probably fire the spell as much as he wanted, he wasn’t going to but it was nice to know he could.
Roman didn’t really try to combine spells since he was only going to be fighting with flame spells, the only spell he would use that isn’t flame would be illusion and [Protection Enchantment], with conceal no one would know he used the spell.
He stopped just before he reached the palace and looked upward. The cool breeze was wonderful, and the stars shone bright in the night sky.
Roman stood there for a while staring upward, the guards at the door looking at him until he heard a voice and turned to the side, the mage he saw with the girls was walking towards him.
"Roman right, that your name?" She asked.
"Yes," he replied.
"I saw something pretty interesting back there. You also have an Earth attribute, don’t you?" She asked and Roman’s face went pale.
"Don’t worry, I’m sure you want to keep it a secret, and I’m not telling anyone. Having two elemental attributes is just wonderful. I’ll be rooting for you tomorrow," She spoke as she walked away, waving to him, and he waved back.
