Supremely Talented Tyrant-Chapter 1580 - 1780: Battle Among the Three Gods

Chapter 1580

He suddenly raised his knife again, with a slash ripping through the air, as if the very atmosphere boiled from the shock. He then reversed his grip, and the knife immediately changed direction, slashing down towards the back of Hao Jian's neck.
Hao Jian remained calm, leaned back, and raised his sword to block the blade, preventing Bandit God's knife from striking down. As the initial attack failed, Bandit God instantly withdrew his blade, but in the process of doing so, Hao Jian quickly thrust his sword forward. Bandit God's eyes flickered as he instantly shifted his stance to a blocking position.
However, although the block stopped Hao Jian's sword, it was done hastily and lacked power, causing him to be knocked back by the sword. If not for his steady footing, he would have been sent sprawling to the ground.
Just as this sword swung out, Hao Jian immediately retreated because Spear God had already aimed his gun at him. If he hesitated even a bit, he would be hit by Spear God's gunfire. Having experienced the power of Spear God's shot before, he was determined not to try it again. Last time, he was fortunate that Prophet arrived in time to save him, otherwise, he would've met his end. With this prior experience, Hao Jian was especially cautious when dealing with Spear God this time.
Sure enough, as soon as Hao Jian retreated to avoid, Spear God pulled the trigger and the bullet shot towards Hao Jian immediately. Spear God's marksmanship was exceptionally accurate; even from two kilometers away, he could take a life with one shot. So, even Hao Jian dared not take him lightly. When the bullet aimed at him came, Spear God had already planned his next attack. Hao Jian quickly dodged, and the bullet hit the wall on his left with a "bang!" If he had been one step slower, that bullet would have pierced into his brain.
Spear God maintained a very steady breath, an aspect that is very crucial for a marksman because the steadiness of breathing affects whether the bullet hits the target. Even slight irregularities in breathing could cause the bullet to deviate from its intended path, so controlled breathing is important.
Spear God always kept a steady breath. He held his gun, aimed, and then fired a shot towards Hao Jian. At his level of marksmanship, it no longer depended on the number of bullets. More bullets could not determine the outcome, as oftentimes, one shot was enough to kill the enemy.
One shot fired out, then swiftly propelled towards Hao Jian.
Hao Jian steadied his breath, striving to sense every fluctuation in the air. He felt a rapid, unusual fluctuation rushing towards him at a terrifying speed; he quickly identified this fluctuation as the incoming bullet. Hao Jian raised his sword, and just as the fluctuation was about to reach him, he swung his sword swiftly, slicing the bullet into two pieces with a "ding!" and they fell to the ground.
Spear Gods' expression began to change as he watched Hao Jian. Could his bullets really be blocked by just anyone? Most people wouldn't even realize they had been hit before falling dead, yet Hao Jian's agility and reaction speed had reached this extraordinary level.
His expression was complex. He held his gun, trying to find Hao Jian's flaws, aiming for a fatal shot, while Bandit God had regained his composure. Brandishing his knife, he charged towards Hao Jian, exuding a fierce bandit aura that earned him the name Bandit God. At this moment, facing Hao Jian, that aura was fiercely surging.
Hao Jian had to be wary of Spear God while dealing with Bandit God, which was no easy task. However, his face remained unusually calm; having come this far, he had already planned everything.
He had never flinched before, why would he now?
Hao Jian raised his sword and charged towards Bandit God. Within a second, they engaged each other, exchanging dozens of moves within a few seconds.
Bandit God muffled a snort towards Hao Jian and said, "God of Death, today is your day to die!"
Hao Jian replied calmly, "I'll accompany you to the end! As for who will have the last laugh, I've already prepared a grave for you ahead of time!"
"You…" Bandit God showed a trace of anger, and his swings suddenly increased in force.
Despite their conversation, their hands never stopped moving. In just a few tens of seconds, they exchanged no fewer than hundreds of moves, showcasing their weapons, strong and well-made, for without them they would have shattered into pieces under such strain.
"Whiz!" another bullet shot rapidly towards Hao Jian. Hao Jian immediately ceased his confrontation with Bandit God, sheathing his sword and swiftly retreating several steps.
Yet another bullet struck the wall with a loud bang. Spear God adjusted his position unhurriedly, holding his gun firmly, with the muzzle always aimed at Hao Jian.
At this moment, unable to stand by any longer, Duan Long lifted his gun and fired a shot towards Spear God. Spear God's expression changed, and he quickly fired a shot, directly hitting Duan Long's incoming bullet out of the air, then, within just a 0.1-second gap, fired another shot.
All that was heard was Duan Long's agonizing scream, "Ah!" His face turned deadly pale, and then the arm holding the gun began to bleed profusely, causing the gun to drop to the ground. These events transpired in mere seconds, and by the time Li Xin saw it and wanted to intervene, Duan Long was already on the ground, injured.
Upon witnessing the situation, Jiang Long immediately reached out to grab Duan Long, pulling him back to a safe spot out of the Spear God's shooting range, only stopping when they were secure. Others followed suit, retreating.
Li Xin looked at Duan Long, his face a mix of worry and anger, and said, "Who told you to act? Didn't I tell you to stay put!"
Although Duan Long's complexion was pale, his face still showed anger. He slammed his left hand on the ground in fury and said, "Hmph! I couldn't just watch idly while they ganged up on him, doesn't make them heroes!"
Li Xin understood Duan Long's impulsive nature, knowing that words wouldn't change anything. Duan Long's impulsiveness wasn't something that could be persuaded with speech, so he called Dong Yong and Chen Haifeng to watch over him, then squatted down to remove the bullet from Duan Long. After extracting the bullet, he began to bandage the wound. Though Duan Long held back from making any sounds, his expression was enough to convey his pain—Spear God's shot almost pierced through his entire arm. It was clear this was Spear God holding back; if he intended to kill, a headshot would be lethal.
Li Xin was still terrified for Duan Long; the reality of the battles among these top figures wasn't something they, the lesser figures, could get involved in. The top figures could just use a little means and send them to the Netherworld while they couldn't even get close to the gods of the top figures—this was the gap in power.
He felt it now, so he could only stand by and watch, not daring to intervene; otherwise, he'd end up like Duan Long. Of course, that wasn't the worst; instant death was more terrifying.
In that brief moment, Hao Jian and Bandit God had already exchanged blows countless times, their battle marks scattered on the walls and floors, bearing the signs of sword and saber clashes.
After so many exchanges with Bandit God, Hao Jian gained a brief understanding of his prowess. Hao Jian smiled, realizing that after all these years, Bandit God's capabilities remained unchanged.
Suddenly, Hao Jian accelerated, rapidly swinging his sword. Bandit God's face showed surprise, thinking Hao Jian's speed had peaked, yet was astonished by his further burst of speed. Unable to anticipate, when he raised his saber to block, it was too late, forcing him to retreat swiftly, though the sword had already slashed his chest, ripping his clothes and leaving a wound.
A sudden stinging sensation enveloped him as Bandit God staggered back a few steps before stopping, lowering his gaze to examine his wound, spat fiercely, and cursed, "Damn it!"
Fortunately, his quick reflexes enabled him to retreat; had he been slower, the sword might have cut into his flesh, and he wouldn't be standing here but fallen on the ground.
Spear God looked at Hao Jian, his expression also changing; having recently crossed swords with Hao Jian, he knew Hao Jian's strength. Yet in the short span, Hao Jian's explosive prowess surprised him again, elevating rapidly.
Without further thought, Spear God reloaded his gun and took aim at Hao Jian.
Bandit God just stabilized his stance when Hao Jian charged with his sword raised. Enduring intense pain, Bandit God swung his saber at Hao Jian decisively. Hao Jian turned swiftly, dodging the saber, and deflected it with his sword, causing Bandit God's hand to go numb, almost dropping the saber.
During this moment, Spear God fired another shot, and Hao Jian's expression changed, slicing the bullet in half, then turning his blade toward Bandit God once more.
The sword descended with unstoppable force, Bandit God's face changed; he quickly raised his saber to block it, "Clang!" Blade against sword, he thought Hao Jian would be knocked back, but Hao Jian's blade power made his legs give way, causing him to kneel on the ground.
He struggled to rise, but the sword felt like a massive mountain pressing down on him, suffocating him, widening the wound on his chest, and draining his strength to resist.
Unable to hold on, Hao Jian's sword would slice down from above, cutting his arm.
In this critical moment, at the brink of life and death, Spear God suddenly aimed at Hao Jian and fired a shot. Hao Jian had no choice but to retract his sword and leap back, the bullet grazing his hair, knocking off a strand. Had he been slower, the bullet would have pierced his brain.
