The Beauties Help Me Become the No.1 Official-Chapter 1223

Chapter 1223

Chapter 1223: Chapter 1223
Inside the booth, the two looked clear-eyed, not at all appearing to be under any spell.
But Wang Tu couldn’t take his eyes off the delicate Shen Shiyao.
Resolutely, he stepped into the room.
The seven or eight men following him flooded in.
"Know any tricks?"
Wang Tu sized up Lin Yifan; earlier, he had surprisingly spoken some slang.
This made him increasingly wary of Lin Yifan.
"A scoundrel like you dares to question me?"
Their previous dialogue had clearly entered Lin Yifan’s ears.
No wonder the typically aloof Liu Xiaocui had been so charmed.
It turned out to be a gang operation behind it all.
"Flower house" means kidnapping women, "scoundrel" means a lecher.
"Seems you’re blocking my way."
Wang Tu said with a dark face.
The other party indeed was not nice.
"Doing vile things, earning money against conscience, you should’ve known this day would come."
Lin Yifan crossed his legs, speaking coldly.
"I haven’t even settled accounts for the previous matter, seems like today you’ll face justice." Wang Tu retorted, not overly confident.
With a wave of his hand, the seven or eight men immediately surrounded him.
They were desperados, their assaults always drawing blood.
"Better hurry, or Eagle Claw Sun will arrive."
Lin Yifan’s words changed their expressions.
Without further ado, they drew their knives at Lin Yifan.
"Ah!"
Unfortunately, Lin Yifan merely dodged a few times, his hands deftly locking their arms.
With a pull and twist, he dislocated their joints, bringing them all to the ground.
Their anguished cries echoed, their twisted arms immobilizing them.
The pale-faced Wang Tu turned to flee but was already too late.
Lin Yifan kicked his leg.
With a crisp sound, Wang Tu fell to the ground.
"About Liu Xiaocui, aren’t you going to explain?"
With one hand, Lin Yifan lifted Wang Tu, weighing over two hundred pounds.
With the other hand, he grabbed his ribs directly.
The agonizing pain made Wang Tu’s life unbearable.
"I’ll confess... I’ll confess... someone offered fifty thousand to buy this flower fighter."
Wang Tu dared not waste time, speaking truthfully.
"Who?"
Upon hearing this, Lin Yifan pursued the question.
"I... I don’t know... it was the flowermouth who said so..."
Wang Tu didn’t dare lie, but he truly didn’t know.
At this moment, footsteps could be heard from downstairs; the police must have arrived.
Lin Yifan asked no more questions, directly throwing Wang Tu to the ground.
"What are you talking about?"
Shen Shiyao asked Lin Yifan, sitting back next to him, puzzled by their conversation.
"He said someone acted as a middleman, offering fifty thousand to have Xiao Cui kidnapped, but as for who exactly, he doesn’t know."
Lin Yifan whispered in Shen Shiyao’s ear.
Before she could ask further, several police officers rushed in.
"Fast action, huh."
Leading them was the old police officer.
With a smile, he looked at the people sprawled across the floor.
With a wave, the others cuffed them up immediately.
"You’re not playing fair, using me as bait."
Lin Yifan said with a smile.
"Couldn’t help it, these guys are too sly. Our police station doesn’t have enough manpower, besides, we can’t coerce confessions anymore. Wang Tu is slippery, seeing your skills, knowing you can handle this, it’s considered doing a public service."
As others took them away, the old officer sat down.
He pulled out a pack of cigarettes, tossing one to Lin Yifan, lighting one himself.
"What else can I say? But when you catch their boss, let me know. According to Wang Tu, someone paid to have Xiao Cui kidnapped, I need to know who."
Lin Yifan accepted it without hesitation, placing it in his mouth.
The situation with Li Xiaocui seemed more complicated.
"I can’t guarantee that, these people are wanted by the City police criminal team, it’s their case. I can only help you find out, though you’ve got quite the skills, want to be my auxiliary police? I’ll guarantee you a position within three years."
The old officer took a drag of his cigarette.
"Forget it, I prefer being a doctor. I’ve completed my task, don’t need to record the statement, you know, I don’t want to get involved too much."
Lin Yifan refused without hesitation.
"Alright, you’ve had a tiring day, go rest. If you come to town, drop by the station to find me, I’m Sun Changsheng."
Sun Changsheng left his number with Lin Yifan.
He also tossed him the remaining cigarettes and turned to leave.
"How could he be so insensitive? Not worried about your safety, really."
As they went downstairs, Shen Shiyao pouted.
She had witnessed the danger firsthand.
"Don’t underestimate this old cop, just by his eyes, he’s clearly an old detective."
Lin Yifan casually remarked.
"How do your eyes grow that way? Why can’t I see anything?"
Shen Shiyao asked, puzzled.
"My first choice was actually police school, but then the Medical University waived my tuition and offered a five-year scholarship, so I changed courses. Coincidentally, I mingled with a few old detectives for half a year; did you notice his limping right leg? Probably a gunshot wound, assuming he’s older, transferred here after retiring from the City’s criminal team due to physical conditions. But his eyes are sharp, amazing that someone like him is here in our town."
Lin Yifan had never realized that high-level experts were hidden in the remote area.
"I really don’t understand the world of a scholar, I’m impressed."
Shen Shiyao said admiringly, giving a thumbs up.
"You stayed up all night, go home, take a bath, steam and rest, grab something to eat, then return."
The home she mentioned was naturally the apartment she rented.
Thinking of this, Lin Yifan couldn’t help but stretch.
He couldn’t decline her generous offer, so they headed directly back to town.
......
"Chief, seven or eight people were crippled, who’s that young man?"
Back at the station, the young officer who had gone to Taoyuan Village with Sun Changsheng couldn’t help but ask.
Those guys were seriously hurt.
"No clue, but he’s definitely not ordinary. Such skills aren’t possessed by just anyone. The records only indicate he was the top scorer in the college entrance examination six years ago. From what I’ve gathered, his grandfather was the Big Saber Association’s leader and a veteran of the Korean War, retiring to Taoyuan Village. With such a grandfather, the grandson likely wouldn’t be lacking."
Sun Changsheng sat behind his desk, smoking, and shook his head.
Lin Yifan’s elusiveness piqued his curiosity.
"With those skills, isn’t he a dangerous individual? I inquired earlier, he seemed mentally unstable for three years, just woke up recently and beat up Wang Tu. Such a person with a history of mental illness could be dangerous, should we keep an eye on him?"
The young officer asked immediately.
He knew that an individual of such destructive power was a double-edged sword.
If he loses control, with the capability to take lives, he may become a threat.
"I’ll coordinate with the City. First, try interrogating Wang Tu, see if there’re any informants in town, aim to capture them all, we can’t allow trouble to remain."
Sun Changsheng was somewhat worried, but this matter was beyond his control.
For now, he could only wait on the City’s directive.
