The Max Level Hero Has Returned!-Chapter 1130
Chapter 1130
Perserque fluttered over in her small form and cupped Davey’s cheeks with both hands. “Since you're already here, shouldn't you do what you forgot to do?”
Seeing her seductive smile, Davey asked, “You want me to kiss you?”
“
Hmph.
Someone might think I’m clingy if they see how much I need to pester you for affection.”
“Are you not?” he countered.
“
Haaaah.
” She narrowed her eyes and gave him a languid look before letting go and stepping back a slight distance. “It would seem you didn't miss me all that much, so I suppose I should just get going.”
She never gave in during a battle of stubbornness, not even once. Seeing her staunch resolve, he sent a wave of mana out toward her.
Zzzzt!
Her small form returned to its original size, and Davey unhesitatingly seized the opportunity to wrap his arms around her waist and pull her in for a kiss.
“
Mmph?!
” Though a bit surprised, she still looked at him with a teasing smile.
“Hopefully you haven’t been getting on your Mommy’s nerves,” he said as he tapped lightly on her rounded belly.
Right on cue, he felt a thump back.
“Already kicking,
eh?
”
She beamed, filled with love for the child.
At that moment, Rinne and Aeria appeared from behind.
“
Ah!
Husband!! You're back!”
‘Husband...?’
Davey pointed out, “Your choice of words changed.”
“
Ah.
That... It just sort of happened.”
The one calling him husband was probably one of Aeria’s other personalities. It was likely that persona’s influence which had brought about the change in address.
Davey didn’t find it unpleasant, so he figured there was no real need to question it any further.
Standing beside her, Rinne silently looked up at Davey while sucking on a popsicle.
It hadn't been long since she’d managed to escape the chaos of Red Ribbon and Blue Ribbon, but it seemed like she was now in charge of Darian whom she was holding in one arm.
“
Kyaa! Kyaa!
”
Even as Darian roughly grabbed at her hair with delight, Rinne looked completely unfazed. After all, Red Ribbon and Blue Ribbon had been even more of a handful.
“I put a few balls in motion while I was in the Ming Empire. Let me catch you up to speed,” Davey said calmly to the three of them.
* * *
Davey shared the plan he had devised to take in those who had been changed by the rules of the world, using them to build a bridge toward reconciliation with the demon race.
“
Hmm.
For a plan like that to work, both sides would need to cooperate,” Perserque murmured as she held Darian in her arms.
She was right, of course.
Aeria added, “The Holy Empire won’t stay quiet about this, Husband. They really hate the demons.”
While the Three Empires held more political sway than the Holy Empire, it was nonetheless impossible to completely ignore the influence the Holy Empire still had.
“I don’t need or expect either side’s full cooperation, for now. After all, humans and demons don’t exactly get along.”
The demons held grudges that spanned millennia, and humanity had also waged war with them after the demons had invaded in the past.
“So, there’s no need to push for a conclusion right away. I just want to leave the door open for future negotiations and reconciliation.”
If, in the process, he could save those who had suffered from the whole incident, all the better.
As for the Holy Empire...
“Does it even matter? Which entity does the Holy Empire serve under?”
“
Umm.
Goddess Freyja, right?
Ah!
” Aeria's eyes widened as soon as she mentioned Goddess Freyja.
“Right. The Goddess is already on your side, husband.”
Despite being confined to the Saint Sanctuary under the surveillance of the heroes, she still insisted on popping in whenever she could, shamelessly showering Davey with her affections before vanishing for an indeterminate amount of time.
Since she had that much freedom, he knew there was nothing to worry about.
“Then that part won’t be a problem.”
“Can you tell us the details?”
Davey laid out the strategy he had in his mind. Once he finished his explanation, the two women exchanged uncertain glances. However, they soon nodded, apparently choosing to trust him regardless of their degree of understanding.
Davey concluded, “In simple terms, I guess it’s like putting on a play. By the way, did Illyna go to Earth?”
“She did. She was getting worried, after all.”
“Should I go too?” he proposed.
The two women noticeably flinched.
“
Ah,
no. Don’t worry. Really. You don’t need to do anything. Just watch from afar, okay?”
He could tell that they were hiding something.
“Alright. Since you say so, I’ll just keep an eye on things for now.”
The two let out relieved sighs in unison.

Evangeline stared blankly at the computer screen before her.
She had started streaming while hiding her true identity as an O’Rowane. She wanted to freely draw what she liked and—following Al Hajat’s suggestion—see for herself that there were good people among humans.
Of course, streaming was very much a double-edged sword. If things went wrong, it could end up hurting her deeply. Nonetheless, she found it surprisingly fun.
[Hieva :) ]
[Hievaaa :) ]
The moment she began streaming, messages flooded the chat. She blinked in slight confusion, wondering how things had gotten to such a crazy point. She’d become so popular that four thousand viewers had gathered the instant she went live—it had only been a few days since she started her first stream!
She had planned to stream consistently, averaging three to four hours a day. Yet according to Al Hajat, her statistics weren’t normal relative to her schedule. He said there was no way a beginner could pull in so many viewers so fast.
“Nice to see you all. But... what’s Hieva?”
As soon as she asked her question, the chat sped up.
[“Hi Eva.”]
[It means “hi Eva,” obviously.]
Currently, Evangeline was using the alias Eva for her stream.
Sure, anyone who really tried could probably deduce that she was Evangeline O’Rowane. Still, she hadn’t even shown her face, so she assumed many people wouldn’t be able to connect the dots.
Her voice had once leaked through that Wherry’s stream when she’d confronted him about his trolling behavior, but the Korean government had gone out of its way to scrub those clips from the internet. Conspiracy theories had cropped up as a result, but Evangeline didn’t care about that.
“
Ahh.
Hi Eva, eh? Then should I say hivi instead, for hi viewers?”
At her innocent question, the chat exploded with rows of laughter.
[Turn donations on....... Please, I swear I won’t spend too much!]
[Donations! Come on, open it!]
Requests to reopen the donation system began pouring in. Evangeline had finally managed to enable the option to block donations during the previous stream.
“No. That’s your hard-earned money, and I’m not doing this to get paid, okay?”
She gave her answer with a clearly firm tone, but the viewers weren’t backing down.
[Wow, she’s actually blocking it.]
[Shit! Take my bags!]
“'T-Take my bags? What does that mean now...?”
[Just take my money already!!!]
[Seriously, why won’t you take our money?]
“I said no! I’m not taking it!” she flatly refused and grabbed her pen.
She then turned to her viewers and asked, “But you know, I heard that when people first start streaming, they usually only get one or two viewers for months, even up to a year.”
[Yeah, but that doesn’t apply to you.]
[You blew up with crazy hype from the start. What else did you expect?]
[This is all because of that maniac Moderation.]
“
Ah.
That user, Moderation, did... a host? That thing where they move people from one stream to another, right?”
[Yeah, that.]
[I’ve been tuning in just to see the art scams in action.]
Following the encouragement from Perserque and Aeria, who’d told Davey they’d set things up so she could relax and enjoy herself, Evangeline had officially started her streaming career with Al Hajat’s help.
She had spent her time drawing various pieces and responding to her viewers. While unsure if that was the right way to do things, she hadn’t started the hobby with hopes of fame or fortune.
She was simply curious about something that happened to catch her interest.
She pouted slightly and mumbled in a playful tone, “I’m not a scam! Don’t call it that.
Hmph.
”
The chat lit up again with reactions.
Pen in hand, she muttered, “I wonder what I should draw today...”
She just wanted to draw something. To feel that strange, satisfying warmth of someone else enjoying her work. She quickly tried to shift the mood and focus on the artwork, yet instead of the usual drawing requests, a different type of request kept filling the chat.
[Open donations, boss!!]
[This is oppression!!]
[Down with tyranny!!]
[Explain yourself!]
There wasn’t a single message asking for her drawing. There were only demands to enable the donation system.
“S-Stop it! I-I said no! You’ll just end up spending too much money!” Evangeline shouted in a flustered panic.
Ding!
[Constellation Sagittarius has donated 1,000,000 won.]
- Did you really think a simple block would be able to stop me?
“
Huh?
”
She was sure she had blocked donations, and couldn’t understand how the donation had still come through. Still, what shocked her even more than the fact that it worked was the amount.
“Oh my goodness... How much is this even?! Hey! Take this back!!”
[Whoa. A million won... is this for real? Isn’t that more than $700 USD?!]
[Hello, Mr. Chairman???]
[Wait, how did they donate if it’s been disabled?]
[???]
[Someone’s cookin.]
[Is this a bug?]
[No, wait. Maybe if the amount is big enough, it overrides the block?!]
[Holy shit. They’re forcing her to take the money LMAO.]
Unfortunately for Evangeline, the chaos didn’t stop there.
Ding!
[Constellation Leo has donated 1,000,000 won.]
- Stay strong. I’m enjoying the stream.
“
Kyaaa!
Stop! Stop it! Hold on! I need to check my settings—just give me a sec!” Screaming, she hastily turned off the mic. “Uncle!!!”
With a cry that was closer to a scream, she frantically called out for Al Hajat. Of course, Al Hajat was busy and nowhere to be found. Even still, she felt like he was watching the stream.
“You called, young lady?” Instead of Al Hajat, it was Super Ribbon and Al Hajat’s attendant, Antonio, who approached her.
“This! This! What is this!?” She pointed wildly at the screen filled with question marks and flashing donation alerts. The duo finally saw the staggering total amount that had come through.
“
Huh?
We definitely blocked donations just like you asked, though...” Antonio said, puzzled.
Super Ribbon, quietly watching the chat, narrowed her eyes. “Constellation Sagittarius? Constellation Leo?”
Looking confused, she shrugged her shoulders. “Sorry, I’m not really good with this stuff...”
“I’ll investigate it right away. In the meantime, just tell your viewers it’s a simple bug,” Antonio advised.
“A bug? Like, an insect?”
“No, no. A bug is what we call an unexpected software glitch.”
Evangeline clapped her hands in realization. “
Ohh,
I see!”
She turned her mic back on.
“
Um,
they said it’s a bug. Like, a bug bug? Anyway, it’s something like that. So don’t worry!”
[A bug bug LOL]
[LMAO did she grow up in a cave or what]
[She’s really sticking to her theme huh LOLS]
Her obvious lack of Earth knowledge only seemed to make the chat explode even more.
“Wait, don’t you have a camera? Why aren’t you using it?” Super Ribbon, watching the stream closely, had asked the question aloud. Evangeline’s jaw dropped to the floor.
[???]
[Whose voice was that? So cute lol]
[Wait, she’s not alone??]
“
Ah!
N-Nothing! It’s nothing! I’m just going to draw now! Anyone saying weird stuff is getting... that,
um,
banned! Yeah! So stop it!”
Scrambling to salvage the situation, she eventually felt she’d prevailed and let out a relieved sigh.
[But like, when are you gonna enable donations though?]
[C’mon boss, enable donations!]
[Mommy... I’m cold... and hungry...]
“Why are you looking for your mom here...? Don’t do that! Seriously, I’m ending the stream if you keep this up!”
Thanks to her ultimatum, the frenzy in the chat finally began to simmer down.
“I’m not disabling it. You’ll all just blow too much money!”
[But we want to spend our money!! It’s OUR money!!!]
“I don’t care anymore! If no one will give me a request, I’ll just draw whatever I want!” She then grabbed her pen and immediately started drawing. She drew a specific cat, with Perserque smiling sweetly at it.
Perserque was fairly well-known even on Earth. There were even people who referred to her as Queen.
[
Wow...
here comes another drawing scam. Seriously, the quality is insane. Looks like it could pop right off the screen.]
[Wait, is that Queen and... the angel cat?!]
The angel cat was a rare feline species occasionally spotted in Tionis. It had snow-white fur, with round, gleaming eyes and tiny angelic wings. It was a creature famed as a prized possession among the rich. It also happened to be Evangeline’s favorite animal.
The one in the drawing was none other than Bluefin, the angel cat Perserque raised.
“Tada!” She beamed as she added the final touches to the piece. “Cute, right?”
[Why is she the one who’s proud? Everyone already knows that angel cats are cute and Queen is majestic.]
[Let’s be real, her visuals are totally out of this world. That smug little cat, too :3]
[I bet the Saint of Tionis saved an entire nation in a past life. She’s just... damn...]
Genuinely pleased with the drawing, Evangeline quickly saved it and burned with renewed motivation.
“Alright, I’m gonna draw one more thing!”
However, rather than focusing on what she might draw next, the viewers clearly had different priorities.
[No, seriously, the donations!]
[Boss, enable the donations already... I’m begging you...]
Eventually, she’d learned to ignore it.
At least, she thought she had.
Ding!!
[Constellation Sagittarius has donated 500,000 won.]
- Please draw the Saint of Tionis.
Another donation came through without warning, and the chat exploded in question marks.
“No... What is this?!”
[Is this Mr. Chairman trying to scam us now?]
[Didn’t she block donations?? How are they still going through??]
[Is this another bug? Huh?]
“I don’t... I don’t get it. How is this happening?”
Despite having donation restrictions enabled, they just kept coming. It was only reasonable that she’d be shaken.
[Okay but seriously, boss. How old are you? You sound like a kid. Don’t you go to school or something?]
Evangeline tilted her head. “School? I don’t go to school...”
Her single comment caused the entire chat to erupt in dramatic tears, although she didn’t understand why.
“This is weird... I’m sure I blocked it...” Her confused mumbling was completely genuine.
Suddenly, an unexpected message appeared in the chat.
[This is the streaming platform’s administrator. We’ve detected an unauthorized donation method via a hacked route.]
[WTF LOLS]
[Is this real? Holy crap LOL]
[The admin descending after only a few days of streaming?!]
The sudden appearance of the platform administrator caused the chat to absolutely explode.
Ding!!
[Constellation Leo has donated 500,000 won.]
- Haha! You think that’s enough to stop me?
[Unauthorized or improper donations violate the platform’s terms of service. I request that you stop immediately.]
It was clearly a final warning. The atmosphere suddenly shifted.
“C-Constellation Leo, please stop! I really don’t want your money!!”
Just as Evangeline cried out in desperation, another alert rang out.
[Constellation Taurus has donated 1,000,000 won.]
At the same time, a video began to play. In a dim, massive training room, a hulking white rabbit with bulging muscles and glowing red eyes appeared.
- Kyuu?
Then, it bounced its mountainous chest muscles with absurd rhythm and struck bodybuilding poses.
Evangeline, who certainly recognized the creature, fell completely silent. Her face stayed frozen with rage and disbelief. She couldn’t find the words to respond.
Meanwhile, the chat was in complete chaos.
[
Ahh!!
My eyes!!]
[What the hell?! That muscle’s about to burst!!]
[Oh no, I’m scared it’s gonna show up in my dreams >.<]
[Mom, this stream’s too caliente for me...]
It was another malicious donation from the user that the viewers referred to as Mr. Chairman.
While Evangeline sat helplessly, unable to contain the situation, the chat was suddenly overtaken by a cold system message.
[Suspicious activity detected through an unauthorized access route. We will begin protective action on the account.]
With that, the stream was unceremoniously shut down.
Evangeline turned in stunned silence, her face full of confusion. “
Waaah.
Super Ribbon...”
Seeing her tears, Super Ribbon muttered with a tense expression, “I’m gonna tell Mother about this...”
That day, the forums of the streaming site lit up like wildfire. Her small, simple stream, Drawing Session with Eva, had suddenly become the talk of the platform.
She was the streamer who had actively blocked donations, only for three anonymous, chaos-inducing viewers to bypass those settings and bombard her with absurdly large donations. As a result of their actions, the platform administrator was forced to intervene with a stern message. Even then, almost as if mocking the administrator, they had forced through another donation.
Her account was then placed under immediate protection. It had been only a few days after going live for her.
The entire incident was quickly labeled a legend, spreading like wildfire across forums and art communities.
When the protection ban was lifted, her viewer count had already doubled.
Over ten thousand people flooded into her next stream.
“What is this? Scary...”
[Enable donations, boss!!]
[It’s so cold here... I’m hungry...]
Once again, the audience came together and requested her to enable donations.
Letting out a deep sigh, Evangeline muttered in defeat, “Fine, I’ll open them! Alright?!”
She wasn’t doing anything particularly flashy, just drawing fascinating, beautiful pictures. Nonetheless, perhaps because of everything that had happened over the previous few days, her small stream had become the internet’s latest hot topic.
Naturally, with popularity came curiosity. People began to question who she really was, and about two days after she resumed streaming, a post appeared on one of the forums.
[Theory: The Truth Behind Eva, the Newbie Drawing Streamer]
What followed was a long, speculative breakdown of her possible identity.
“Maybe I should just stop...” As she watched the reactions grow, she couldn’t help but wonder if she had accidentally stepped into something way bigger than she could handle.
She began to think that maybe being under her dad’s wings really was the safest place after all.
