Chapter 52: Assertion (1)
Lior stepped off the enclosed carriage and immediately inhaled a large breath of air. The salty tang of the ocean water and the strong smell of fish hung heavy around him. Various stores and stalls had their wares set out and those selling cooked food were walking around while offering free samples.
Lior had arrived in the port city, and the environment that greeted him was completely different from the Capital. It was finally the day that he was going to set out to sea on a trip to the Castellon Continent, or more specifically, the Tarragona Empire. A trip that had been delayed by two weeks.
"Sire," Edgar called out to him.
Lior turned to look at his page. All three princes had grown up with pages of their own but Lior was the only one who had kept his around. His brother Kyle had ran his off four years ago after pulling a horrendous prank on him, and his brother Nathaniel’s had died from small pox seven years ago.
"Yes, Edgar?"
"Shall I buy us some fresh seafood skewers and fruits for our journey?"
Lior looked over to where the vendors were. His mouth watered slightly at the sight of a grilled octopus leg on a skewer. It reminded him of the small treats his mother would sneak for them when they were younger, treats that she would make a mess in the kitchen cooking.
I do believe our kingdom is the only one where the Queens will sneak into the kitchens to personally cook.
His mother, the Queen Reagent, had a liking for spicy and fishy foods and would prepare her own snacks on occasion. While the Queen Consort had grown to love baking after she tried to make each prince their very own birthday cake before.
"That sounds good. Bring them to my cabin and we can share them."
Edgar gave a curt nod of his head before running off in the direction where the strongest smell of food was coming from.
The footman grabbed his luggage. Lior had decided to not pack much since he was going to be confined on a ship for two weeks. He had only packed a few changes of clothes, a handful of prepackaged snacks and vitamins that his mother insisted he take, and two books. One book was about the history and customs of the Tarragona Empire while the other one was a language book. Since the people living on the Castellon Continent spoke a different language from his own, he thought it only polite to try and learn their language since he was marrying into a noble family from over there after all.
Together, he and his footman crossed the docs and headed for the ship. The crewmen who were to accompany him during the journey were loading up the gifts that his family had prepared for the Rossets.
"Your Highness," the captain greeted him. "We will be setting sail in an hour."
"Very well."
The captain led Lior to his cabin. The footman, Harold, laid his luggage down and quickly put everything away.
"I’ll take my leave now, Your Highness."
"Thank you, Harold."
Lior picked up the language book and sat down on the bed. He propped it open and already felt the incoming headache that was sure to come.
"Hola," Lior practiced saying a few words, trying to get his tongue used to the strange movements. "Bon dia."
A knock came from his cabin door and Edgar poked his head in. "I’ve brought a variety of things for us to eat. I’m not interrupting your studies, am I?" Edgar asked when he noticed the book propped open on Lior’s lap and his furrowed eyebrows.
"No! Please, come in." Lior practically bounced off his bed and dragged the boy three years his younger into the room. "Say, Edgar, why don’t we practice together? It won’t hurt either of us in learning the Tarragona language."
"Sire," Edgar sighed. "Fine."
. . . .
Adrien buried his head into the warmth that surrounded him, not wanting to wake up.
"Haha." The low-sounding chuckled reverberated around him. "You live up to your namesake, Kitten."
Mikyle?
A flood of images came rushing to him, snapping Adrien out of his sleeping state. His eyes sprung open and the first thing that came into view was a very firm and very sculpted chest that was very much naked.
Oh? I really did sleep with Mikyle.
He had been afraid that he had dreamt the entire thing but was pleased to find that he hadn’t.
"How do you feel?" Mikyle asked. He brought a hand up and cupped it against Adrien’s face and used his thumb to rub the sleep out of his eyes. Every movement and every caress was gentle and it left Adrien hungry for more.
Adrien stretched his legs and lower back without extricating himself from the warmth of Mikyle’s arms.
Huh?
"Can you let me up?"
Mikyle slowly lifted his arm up to allow Adrien the room to move. Adrien immediately sat up only for even more confusion to wash over him. He then looked down at himself and could see the physical evidence of their night together on his collarbone and upper chest in the form of hickeys.
Why am I not sore? I thought it was supposed to be painful the first time around, especially since we did it so many times last night?
"Do you feel any pain?" Mikyle asked, propping himself up on his elbow. His other hand made its way to Adrien’s waist where it stretched itself out around his hip bone. Mikyle then used his thumb to gently massage the area with small, circular motions.
Adrien plopped back onto the bed and he gazed up at Mikyle. "Actually, I don’t feel any kind of pain down there."
"Hmm." Mikyle stopped his messaging and moved his hand down lower until it cupped the inside of Adrien’s thigh. "We should check just to be sure."
The rustling of the bedsheet alerted Adrien to Mikyle’s sudden movement just before he stood up on his knees. He then brought his other hand to Adrien’s other leg. Gently, Mikyle spread open both legs while bringing them both up until Adrien’s feet were planted flat against the bed.
"What are you doing?!" Adrien asked in alarm, unsure of what this prince was planning on doing to him.
Surely he’s not going to suggest we have sex to check, right? I only had a couple of hours to rest after the last round!
"Hmm? We need to check to make sure you’re not hurt down there." Mikyle then leaned down until his face was at eye level with Adrien’s hole.
Wait! This-
Something wet struck against his hole in gentle licking motions. Cold air struck against the wet areas whenever Mikyle breathed against him, causing him to twitch uncomfortably.
A strange sensation overcame him when Mikyle’s tongue entered him. Adrien writhed against the bed, trying to get away.
"St-stop!" Adrien’s hands left the bed where they were curled into the sheets and made their way to Mikyle’s hair where they tug at him to stop.
Mikyle looked up at him and the smirk he wore was not only visible on his face but in his eyes as well. "I am merely checking for any tears."
"But do you have to use your tongue?!"
Mikyle brought a thumb to his lips and wiped away the saliva that had dripped from them. "No, but you seem to be enjoying this method."
Adrien stared at him with wide eyes, not sure on what to say to that nor able to refute his words.
Mikyle’s smirk deepened at Adrien’s silence. He then leaned back down, burying his head between Adrien’s legs once again.
How? Just how in the world have we come to this? Is this happening because Mikyle held himself back a whole week?
"Aah!" The nearly silent moan flowed out from his lips when Mikyle’s tongue shoved past his outer ring and slipped inside him with a forceful thrust. Accompanying this strange action was an unfamiliar sensation that sent a tingling warmth swarming his insides. The warm feeling felt numbing yet energizing at the same time, clearing a paradoxical type of sensation.
"Wh-what was that?"
Mikyle gave a few more forceful thrusts of his tongue and Adrien could feel a wetness sliding down his ass. Even worse, his cock began stirring.
"Mana," Mikyle finally answered after pulling away. He leaned back up on his knees and looked down at Adrien, his smirk now a full-blown grin. "See, I knew you liked it."
Adrien narrowed his gaze at him in frustration. He was thinking about banning this prince from ever entering his room on weekends again. "Why would you inject Mana into me?" Adrien asked, choosing to ignore the other thing Mikyle had said.
"Hmm? To heal you obviously."
Adrien felt a different kind of frustration boiling inside him after hearing that. "But only Mana affiliated with the light element can heal," Adrien pointed out the obvious.
Instead of refuting his words or expanding on his explanation any further, Mikyle rudely pointed at Adrien’s cock. "I believe we should take care of that first."
