Trapped in Paradise (In a Hentai World, as a Trap)-Chapter 344

Would Zhang Shaoqing really turn into a girl?
How was she supposed to know~
If it had been something she’d written before crossing over, then sure, maybe there was a chance. But that short story was something she had written afterward.
Ning Chu didn’t have time to think about it. She had just bathed, but under Wen Yang’s relentless “assault,” her brain had melted into mush. Her eyes rolled back, and she completely passed out.
When she woke up the next morning, it was already eight o’clock.
The rich scent of meat buns lingered in the air. Ning Chu blinked sleepily at the ceiling, rubbed her flat little tummy, and realized that at some point, she was wearing pajamas. Clearly, Wen Yang had cleaned her up inside and out last night.
Following the aroma, her blurry gaze drifted toward the desk—Wen Yang was already eating breakfast.
This guy… Did being both the protagonist
and
the author’s boyfriend really excite him that much?! He nearly broke her mind last night!
Thankfully, she was a succubus. The exaggerated descriptions in her smutty novel actually applied to her body—and without leaving lasting harm. If not for that, she would’ve landed in the hospital long ago.
She dared not make a sound, silently regretting not listening to Wen Yang’s earlier suggestion to buy a gag ball from the shop downstairs…
“You’re awake?”
Wen Yang turned at the noise, smiling warmly at the girl lying in bed. “I bought meat buns. Get up and have some breakfast?”
“I can’t… My whole body aches.”
The pain wasn’t sharp—more like a lingering soreness that left her oddly embarrassed. Her body was so limp she couldn’t summon the energy to move.
She lay dazed for a while, then suddenly jolted up, reaching for her phone in a panic.
Thank goodness—no calls from her mother.
Even though she’d tried her best to hold back her voice last night, she still worried they might’ve disturbed the neighbors and gotten complaints.
Relieved, she collapsed back against the pillow, zoning out while her body and brain slowly recovered.
“These buns are pretty good. I also got stuffed pancakes and soy milk.”
“Mm. Just leave them there. I’ll eat later.”
She lazily stretched, twisting about under the covers, then yawned.
When she finally sat up against the headboard, she accepted a meat bun from Wen Yang’s hand. She hesitated, considering getting out of bed to eat.
“Don’t bother,” he said. “The sheets are ruined anyway. We’ll have to wash them.”
She glanced down at the thoroughly ravaged bed sheets and sheepishly took a bite.
True enough—every time, the sheets ended up a mess thanks to her and Wen Yang…
“Um… You’re really okay with this?” she asked cautiously.
“Me? What would I not be okay with?”
Even after a whole night, Wen Yang still showed no dramatic reaction to “the truth.”
But when their eyes met, he instantly understood her worry. His voice was calm as he explained, “I’ve lived nearly twenty years of real life. That’s not fake. And I read your novel—it doesn’t really match up with who I am now anyway—”
“Stop, stop, stop!” Ning Chu cut him off, her face burning red. “Don’t talk about my book!”
Wen Yang nodded obediently—but his lips curled into a teasing smile. “Still… we ought to respect the original work. Why don’t we reenact the plot together?”
“!!”
Ning Chu’s eyes went wide in disbelief.
What?! He actually wanted to make her go through
all
the heroines’ storylines?!
“You wrote it.”
“No! Absolutely not! You pervert!”
She shook her head furiously, so hard it left afterimages, arms crossed in an emphatic
X
. “I won’t allow it! You’re not allowed to think about that kind of thing all the time! Otherwise you’re no different from the scumbag protagonist in the book!”
Seeing her blush all the way to the roots of her ears, Wen Yang couldn’t help but laugh out loud.
“You’re still laughing?!”
All he ever did was bully her!
Ning Chu kicked him in the waist, puffing her cheeks angrily. “I’m going to shower. Then I’m heading home.”
“Eat breakfast first.”
“Fine.”
She sat cross-legged on the bed, draping her coat over her shoulders against the chill. As she ate, she felt a weight lift quietly from her heart.
Carrying a secret had never felt good. She had lived in constant fear that one day, Wen Yang would learn the truth and leave her in fury… because his parents’ tragic deaths—his very suffering—had only been a “character setting” she had casually written down.
Now that everything had been laid out clearly, Wen Yang really didn’t mind at all.
The only problem was… he seemed intent on turning her completely into a hentai heroine.
Ning Chu cupped the warm soy milk in both hands, letting the heat chase away the chill in her fingers. Lifting her eyes, she said, “This afternoon I’m going to Lily’s place. She’s home alone and keeps begging me to go keep her company.”
“This afternoon? Already?”
“Mm, we arranged it beforehand. Xinya will be there too.”
Wen Yang nodded with a touch of regret. “How long will you be gone?”
“Two days? Depends. Anyway, not too long. The New Year’s just around the corner.”
Honestly, a short break might do them good. If they kept doing “bad things” every single day, not only would her body be at risk, she was afraid she might get addicted.
Still… Lily’s place had its own dangers. She had all those oversized toys and loved pushing her into trying them out. This time she had to stay strong—just play the game console, and not believe a word of Lily’s nonsense!
After breakfast, she took a shower, changed into outdoor clothes, and prepared to leave. Meanwhile, Wen Yang stripped the messy bed sheets, tossed them into a bucket, and left them to soak for later.
“Want to eat lunch at my place first?” he asked.
“Mm.”
“Then let’s take the subway home~ I’m broke as heck.”
Luckily, she’d just gotten her manuscript fee earlier this month. Even though she had spent a bit lavishly these past few days, she still had plenty left.
The two of them strolled downstairs, walking hand in hand through the narrow alleyways of the urban village.
With her secret out in the open, Ning Chu felt light as a feather. She swung Wen Yang’s hand back and forth with exaggerated arcs, tiptoeing like a mischievous sprite, humming tunelessly all the while.
“Wen Yang, it’s kinda cold,” she muttered.
“Want my jacket?” he offered.
Her eyes darted slyly over him as her pace slowed, falling a step behind. But before she could make a move, a hand suddenly shot down from above, diving straight into her collar. His icy palm pressed against her shoulder blades, sending a shiver rippling down her spine. She nearly screamed.
“Wen Yang!”
He bolted immediately. Last time she had pulled this exact trick on him, and he wasn’t about to fall for it again—this time, he struck first!
From the look in her eyes, he could tell his little succubus was definitely up to no good.
“Don’t run! What’s wrong with warming my hands a little?!” Ning Chu yelled, chasing after him in outrage.
But Wen Yang’s nearly-190cm frame, with those long legs of his, covered double her distance with every step. After only a few paces, she realized she couldn’t possibly catch him.
Panting, she suddenly let out an “Ouch!” and crouched down on the spot.
Wen Yang, who had been watching her the whole time, froze. Seeing her in trouble, he quickly stopped and approached cautiously, keeping a few meters between them. “What happened?”
“My ankle twisted. It’s all your fault…” Ning Chu lowered her head, clutching her ankle with both hands, mumbling pitifully.
“Then I—”
“Got you!”
She leapt up suddenly, hands shooting forward to grab at his clothes. But Wen Yang was quicker, twisting aside in a blur. He dodged her ambush and broke into another run.
“Arghhhh!!!”
“Don’t bother pretending anymore, aren’t you too childish?!” Wen Yang called back from afar, laughing. “That move doesn’t work on a protagonist!”
Ning Chu’s face paled as real pain shot up her leg. “You’re still cracking jokes?! I really twisted it this time…”
