"What? You don’t want to work for me?" the woman said, her voice thickening with each second and every word she spoke.
Aries stared keenly at her, his eyes trailing over her face, searching for every shift in her expression. He saw her eyes darken, her forehead crease, and her lips curl up. Whatever she was thinking, whatever she was scheming, was surely not going to be in his favor.
"That’s the issue," Aries said.
He moved about the room and settled on the chair, turning it to face her. His hands cradled his chin as he brooded, his eyes still on her, deep in thought as he stared at her.
’I obviously can’t tell her no. With the way she behaves, it shows she knows I’m not telling the complete truth about my identity, and if I were to decline her offer, she’ll certainly eat me out.’
As Aries watched her, she also didn’t relent with her stare, and it only intensified. ’If I can’t be helpful to her, she’ll surely discard me. And with the way it is, I don’t think it’s bad if I actually follow her.’
The system’s voice chimed in at his thoughts.
[Seriously, Host? You mind sleeping with a tiger king, but not with a random tiger beastman? Isn’t your ambition too low, and so much for your priorities?]
’Obviously not. Don’t be so stupid. I thought you could read my mind.’

With that, Aries dropped the hand on his chin and looked fully at the woman. She smiled at him and he smiled back, then his voice turned low.
"It’s not that I don’t want to go on with the deal with you..."
He stood up from the chair, dragged it forward toward her, and then sat back on it. He held the hem of the cloak he wore, biting his lips as though troubled. "But... I’ve never been with anyone before. I’m sure I’ll be inexperienced. I might have to learn before—"
"Oh..." the woman’s voice cut into his words. A bright smile finally recovered onto her face as she said, "Guess I thought wrong. So, you’re okay with the deal, right?"
’I’m okay with the deal. Perfectly okay. But being a sex worker? We’ll see about that,’ he thought inwardly, but outwardly, Aries smiled and nodded.
"Look," she said, her hand on his shoulder in a bid to calm him, "I understand that you’ve not done this before. And truly, to perfect my claim to people that you’re a minor, I must also give you lessons, wouldn’t I?"
"So... you mean I don’t need to have sex right away?" Aries said, his tone now brighter as he stared at the woman with newly cleaned tears.
"Yes. Here’s it: for now, after using the Beast Veil and getting to the pleasure house, I’ll have you do menial tasks. You’ll try your best to avoid triggering the interest of any clients. That way, you’ll successfully get none for now. But if someone shows interest in you, I’ll have no choice but to push you there. And when I feel you’re ready, I can also make you start."
"Hmmm..." Aries appeared deep in thought. "Isn’t that tricky? You say I have to act discreet so as not to interest people, but then you say you can decide when I work. Is there actually a limit to when you can decide?"
"That’s like a default. It means if we go there tomorrow and you fail, you’ll start straight away, and the deal will always be on, so I can’t even complain."
"It wouldn’t be that way," she corrected. "What I mean is: if I get a high-paying client who specifically requests someone, and that someone fits everything about you then I’ll get you to him."
Then she added, "Is that okay?"
Aries looked at her, his brows rising and falling, then he sighed heavily before replying, "I guess it is."
It’s your loss anyway. I just need a place to stay safe till I plan my escape.

Aries smiled at the system’s words. Just then, the woman brought something out, and Aries’s eyes followed it. It was a vial holding shimmering liquid. He looked from it to her, and before he could speak, she spoke first.
"So, what’s your name?"
"Aries," he responded. He saw a paper materialize in front of the woman.
"What are you doing?" he asked, confusion clear on his face.
"Drafting a contract to sign." When she was done, the paper fell into her hands and she stretched it toward Aries.
"Sign with your blood, and I’ll also mine."
"Huh?" Aries didn’t respond with words; his eyes did the talking as he stared at the paper. It was written in black ink, and he read the clause.
It stated that if he was found to have bad intentions or intent not to fulfill their deal, he would be struck with the inability to use his senses, and likewise for her.
Isn’t this too much? Aries thought, and the system’s voice answered.
[Technically, it’s not, based on how huge the deal is. Since she’s shielding you from getting caught and thrown into the dungeon as she believes then the price to pay is just for you to comply.]
