Treasure Hunting System: The Ocean Conquerer-Chapter 543 - 264: Sailing_2

Chapter 543

Chapter 543: Chapter 264: Sailing_2
My talent is just average, not to mention I’m not young anymore, over thirty. Of course, compared to Alka and the others—these normal humans—it’s better not to mention the age of those immortals.
As Lucilia advanced to the Third Stage, the strength of the Puppet Girl on the ship saw a rapid increase. The changes brought by stage advancements are huge. Vice Captain Ling directly followed and advanced to the Third Stage. The eleven captains’ strength reached Nine Spirals. The sixty crew members had broken through Eight Spirals but had yet to reach Nine Spirals. This had rightfully made Juanlu the weakest.
Hearing Juanlu’s words, Jason smiled slightly. "Knowing Alka’s personality, if he’d come this far to find that pirate’s treasure, there must be a Treasure there."
Upon hearing Jason, Juanlu didn’t even turn his head. He just said quietly, "Based on contributions, the next Treasure should go to Julia."
The three of them were currently the only ones on board without Treasures, and among them, Julia had contributed the most. This also held true based on their boarding order.
"No rush. It’s coming soon, isn’t it? Once this one is claimed, the next will be yours," Jason comforted him.
Considering their speed, even by a conservative estimate, they could obtain one within a year or two.
Juanlu nodded, not particularly caring. He rarely participated in battles, his main work being logistics. Besides, he spent most of his time researching food, especially after obtaining some testing tools from Vastva. He had also learned some scientific knowledge from Alka and Matilda.
He felt his cooking skills were advancing by leaps and bounds. The food he prepared was no longer just delicious; it now had deeper effects.
While he was lost in thought, the fishing rod in his hands started shaking rapidly. His mind instantly cleared, and he stood up quickly, gripping the rod tightly with both hands.
"It’s a big fish!"
The entire rod was already bent completely. Fortunately, it was custom-made by Simon; otherwise, it would have broken long ago. The steel fishing line was stretched taut, and Magic Power began to surge madly from his arms into the rod.
Seeing Juanlu flushed with exertion, Jason immediately dropped his own fishing rod and helped him pull.
"Such strong power!" Jason exclaimed in surprise.
The resistance is incredible!
Watching the two of them struggle with the fish, the awakened Crystal Dragon tilted its head in slight confusion.
"Buji?"
Juanlu, engrossed in the struggle, didn’t notice what the Crystal Dragon was saying. Not receiving an answer, the Crystal Dragon turned its head towards the sea, watching the struggling catch being dragged underwater. Its eyes began to glow. The wings on its back began to flap rapidly; by now, the Crystal Dragon’s wings had grown to nearly the size of its body. Then, with a sudden dash, it dove straight into the water.
"Whoa!"
Seeing a shimmering figure plunge into the sea, Jason finally realized what it was and immediately let go.
With Jason letting go, the force on the line suddenly halved, and the unprepared Juanlu was yanked into the water.
"Huh?!"
As Juanlu was dragged into the sea beside him, Jason saw the incredulous look in Juanlu’s eyes as he turned his head.
He seriously suspected Jason had done it on purpose,
Juanlu thought.
Jason didn’t have time to think and dove straight into the water after him.
Meanwhile, in the crow’s nest, Alka, who was on duty, watched the figures tumble into the water from the ship’s bow.
What are they doing? Why are they suddenly jumping into the ocean one after another?
However, he wasn’t worried because Pororo was in the water at that moment. Julia and the others had also noticed the commotion.
Before long, a crystalline figure shot out from the water, soaring upwards, its massive wings beating and sending water splashing. Its front claws clutched a fish even larger than itself, its jaws clamped firmly onto the fish’s body. It was none other than the Crystal Dragon.
When did she learn to fly?
Alka thought, standing up abruptly in surprise as he watched the scene. Previously, the Crystal Dragon couldn’t fly; its wings had seemed underdeveloped, merely decorative. He hadn’t expected her to learn to fly so soon.
She hasn’t even been out of her egg for that long!
Two more splashes erupted from the water as Juanlu and Jason leaped out one after the other.
"You can fly now?" Jason asked, looking at the Crystal Dragon on deck, which was still tightly gripping the wildly struggling fish.
"I don’t think she’s in the mood to answer your question right now," Juanlu remarked.
Suddenly, Magic Power erupted from the Crystal Dragon’s mouth. The wildly struggling fish caught in its jaws instantly froze, its surface becoming completely encased in a layer of transparent crystal. Only then did the Crystal Dragon loosen its grip. It then shook the water from its body.
"Buji."
"Amazing, you’ve grown again!" Jason said, happily squatting down to look at the fish encased in crystal. He then patted the Crystal Dragon’s head.
"Buji!"
"Hungry again?" Jason asked.
He sighed and looked at Juanlu beside him.
Juanlu chuckled. "Alright, you get your Gemstone ready, and I’ll prepare the nutrient gel for the ingredients." With that, he gave Jason a slightly mischievous pat on the shoulder and headed towards the galley.
As Juanlu walked away, the Crystal Dragon cried, "Buji!" and quickly flew over to him, still clutching the encased fish. Juanlu caught the fish as it dropped into his arms and looked up at the Crystal Dragon, which was calling out from mid-air.
