Truth Of The Forgotten Age-9-06: The Lamia
The water rippled with precision and speed, whatever was in there had a clear target. And, when it lunged, it went straight for Veronica.
The girls reacted quickly, but were completely shocked that it didn't fight. Rather, it latched onto Veronica. The creature itself seemed similar to Nagas, or even the mythical Lamia. And it was quite clearly a female that, one that was completely nude.
"Odd. Body says yes, but still in control? Smell man, look woman?" The creature spoke, and clearly, the human language was not it's strong suit.
"Uhh... who are you?" Veronica asked, trying to gently pry off the clinging creature.
"No name. Called monster sometimes. Is name?"
"N-No... that's not a name." Cassidy replied, trying to figure out what exactly was happening.
"Then husband-wife? Huswife! Huswife can find name!"
Eleanora and Aviris attempted to at least put space between the two, but the creature was too strong. So, they all decided to just leave her be for now. Perhaps she could be of some help.
"We're here looking for something." Aviris said plainly, shifting her envious gaze towards the clinging creature.
"Lots of somethings here for Huswife's wives!" She replied.
Meanwhile, Veronica was hoping to whatever deity that this girl was at least as old as she looked.
"Something specific actually." Eleanora added on, pretending like she's not jealous.
"Specific? What's specific? Is rock?" The girl was completely clueless.
"No, it's a scepter." Cassidy corrected her, quietly muttering "homewrecker" under her breath.
"What is scepter?"
"Um... We're looking for a long stick, made out of gold. It has lots of pretty jewels on it."
The creature thought for a second, and as ecstatic as she was just moments earlier...
"What's gold? What are jewels?"
The girls collectively facepalmed. It's like she's a child in an adult's body.
"Elly, you wouldn't happen to have one of the two on you, would you?" Veronica asked.
"Are asking because I'm a princess?"
"Yes?"
"Rude. But yes, I am. Here." Eleanora said, pretending to be annoyed while handing Veronica a golden necklace with a ruby right in the center.
"Perfect. This is made of gold. This part, a ruby, is a jewel. Jewels also come in many different colors. We are looking for a stick that has the same color as this, with many of these." Veronica explained, pointing at the parts of the necklace.
"Ah! Have many somethings like that! In nest, follow!" She exclaimed, dragging Veronica off to who knows where.
And sure enough, the creature's nest was full of many sparkling items. Rings, necklaces, and other items.
"Is that... why is there a golden dildo encrusted with emeralds here? Actually, why does it exist?" Cassidy wondered, carefully picking it up and examining it from afar.
"Is that scepter?" The creature asked, pointing at the dildo.
"No. At least, I don't think so." Veronica answered, both intrigued and disgusted and the object. "We're looking for something longer, and thinner."
"Hm..." The girl pondered, before lighting up and dragging Veronica over somewhere else in the nest.
And there, neatly placed upon other treasures, a golden scepter with many different jewels. It matched Aviris' description perfectly.
"That's... exactly what we were looking for. Where did you find it?" Aviris said, examining it carefully.
"Don't remember. Found on big thing, about chest height? Held up with forks! Tried to pry off forks, too strong to take out though. Wanted sisters to help, but forgot they all left after encountering their husbands. Never saw them again."
"Well that would explain a large amount of male deaths... maybe? She's seems controllable." Eleanora spoke to herself.
"Well, we have it, let's get out of here." Cassidy sighed, walking away.
"No! Huswife stays!"
"I can't stay. I could try to take you out of here..." Veronica started, trying to figure things out. "But first, we'll have to covet you up. And give you a name."
"Am fine being Wife!"
"Wife is not a name, it's a title."
