Truth Of The Forgotten Age-10-06: Practicing to be Royal II
"Of course, Lady Bright, I do adore you so."
"Ver, you're acting weird..."
Veronica had recently been in her language classes, and she got a little more than she bargained for. So, she turned off her brain and became a pure lady, or as pure as her training allowed her to be.
"Elly, how do I fix her?" Cassidy asked her friend across the table.
"I'm not quite sure. I never though one would... turn out this way from classes."
"Oh, pardon me. It's time for Miss Nashandra's class. If you'll excuse me." Veronica said way too professionally, creeping out the girls, before bowing and leaving with practiced grace.
"I hate it. That is
not
Veronica..." Aviris groaned. "Say, can she abandon all this uh... ladylike stuff after the wedding?"
"Not permanently. She'll still have to remember this for any public appearances. We'll just have to wait for her to return. Ask to normal. Or force her back to normal, however we're supposed to do that." Cassidy answered, putting a finger to her chin in thought.
"So we're stuck with this weird version of Ver until further notice. Great."
Veronica's classes were going relatively fine, especially after she turned off her brain. Though, it only took one little mistake to ensure suffiencient pain to wake her.
"Keep your arms straight and closer to your body, you're not some barbarian!"
"Y-Yes Ma'am!"
It wasn't easy, or fun, or really anything she hoped for. And even worse, there was only a little over a week until she becomes a much more public figure.
"Better. Now, you need to cut gently. No not like that!"
'Ugh... please let this be over soon...'
In the "short" amount of time the class went on for, she was already nearly done for the day. Last was dancing. But, before she ever got halfway there, she bumped into a very specific person.
"Good afternoon, Your Highness, Princess Celia." Veronica greeted woth a proper bow.
"You're getting much better. But please, we're engaged, you can just call me Celia. I assume your off to Miss Helena's class?"
"Indeed." Veronica spoke, though her words were stiff.
"Then, shall I be your dance partner? It will be easier to learn to dance with a close partner."
"Oh, yes please! I-I mean, that would be fantastic, my Lady."
"Hehe, like I said, you don't need to be so formal, beloved. Come, come! I promise I won't get mad when you step on my feet!" Celia giggled, taking Veronica by the hand and dragging her to the dance studio.
"You mean "if" right? Right?"
Celia only giggled more in response. She clearly the more cheerful of the two sisters. Though, it was bad, and rather refreshing.
"Good, just like that. Now, pit your hand on my hip like, yes, like that." Celia had already began giving Veronica instruction as opposed to the teacher, but Veronica would rather take Celia over any of the teachers any other day.
"For now, just watch and match my feet, okay?"
Veronica nodded and the teacher started to clap in beat. She looked down, staring at their feet, mirroring what Celia was doing.
Though, she couldn't help but look at every other part of Celia. That damn seductive body on an innocent girl like her, what kind of God created her? Veronica was captivated, and she was comparing Celia's body to others.
Celia was bigger than Eleanora, more curvy than Cassidy, leaner than Aviris, and she was softer than Kazue. The only one to beat her out in anything is Lyra and her innocence, if one could call Lyra innocent, that is.
Though, over the next few days, Veronica became better and better in everything she had to learn. She was nearly on the same level of dancing as Eleanora, Celia, and vastly worse than Priscilla. Of course, those three rightfully outdid Veronica in everything else by light-years. But, Veronica was feeling ever so slightly more readied for the publicity.
Publicity that would mean more than she hoped for.
