Luckily, Seraph did in fact have a scabbard that, oddly enough, fit Veronica's new sword perfectly. And, within a few days, Seraph had everyone gather in the living room.
"Alright, girls! Since you're all a bit stronger, and have some better gear, I think it's time to take you all onto a contract!" Seraph exclaimed excitedly.
The rest of Seraph's team stood behind her, with calm and professional smile.
"Uh... what kind of contract?" Cassidy asked, wondering if it would be something they wouldn't be able to handle.
"Well, since we're just starting off, we're going to go get a contract early. Which means we're more likely to get the easier and simpler contracts. Find a lost cat, deliver an item, something simple to get you girls used to accepting them."
"Oh. Then, I guess we can do that. Yeah." Veronica said.
Veronica and her group looked at each other and nodded. After all, an easy contract to start with would be the best thing to do.
"Then, we'll go right now! Seriously! They start giving them out in five minutes." Seraph sighed and silent chuckle.
Sable, Kazue and Sirtia looked at her in disbelief and sighed as the put their hand to their face.
"Seraph... we talked about this yesterday..." Sable said in disappointment.
"I woke up late!" She argued.
"We could've gone next week!" Sirtia countered.
"But then all the good ones will be taken!"
"Ugh, fine. Girls, get your gear. We're going." Sable sighed as she headed for the door.
Everyone scrambled for their gear before leaving the house in a group. Seraph led them all, and a short time later, Kazue fell back to Veronica.
"One, two or three?" Kazue asked as she kept walking.
"Excuse me?" Veronica responded, confused at Kazue's question.
"Sirtia, Sable and Seraph. One of them is one two and three, but I'm not going to tell which. I want you to pick one of the numbers to decide which one I'll help you seduce next."
"Uh... okay... then... three?" Veronica answered, not exactly knowing the upcoming outcome.
Kazue smiled and nodded, and retook her place at the front of the pack.
"So, what was that about?" Aviris asked.
"I've no idea." Veronica answered half correctly.
"Oh, and uh... when we get back, can we... you know..." Aviris tried suggest something that got her a bit embarrassed.
"We absolutely can~" Veronica said, cupping Aviris' chin.
If they weren't walking, Aviris would've probably dropped to the floor.
The short walk to the school's Adventuring Guild branch was calm, but the girls were being stared at from all angles. Whispers from other students wondering why Rose Garden chose them. Lewd whispers talking about how good looking they were. Veronica tried to ignore them, but the more she tried to ignore them, the louder they got.
Sirita slowed down to stand next to Veronica.
"Hey, look at me. They always talk about weird stuff when we're around. It was hard for me as well. Here's a little trick. Turn your brain off, think of something different. Something to keep your attention." Sirtia said to the overloaded Veronica.
Veronica nodded and train to pull up random thoughts. With each step, she thought more and more. Finally, something was coming to mind.
Seraph's rear, Kazue's breasts, Sirtia's small frame, Sable's lean body... All Veronica could think of we're lewd thoughts. Thoughts that grew more and more extreme. Thoughts that she tried to push back.
Luckily, before her thoughts could go too far, the girls found themselves in the school's branch building.
"And here we are. I'll go get the contract. You can wait here." Seraph said, parting from the group.
