Chapter 444

Chapter 444: You’re Playing A Dangerous Game, Princess
[KAWAI]
"Your... Your lavender is mine," Kosta growled slowly, and Tamiko let out a soft laugh.
"Of course... The deep lavender is yours. Always yours, my princess. But we can’t exactly hide our natural scents with suppressants all the time. It’s unhealthy. That’s why everyone around you is free.
"And you need to be free too, baby. How about this... if you wear suppressants, I’ll wear my full scent. I’ll let everyone know what my lavender really smells like when it blooms fully," Tamiko said.
Kosta pulled back and glared at him.
It was like this was the worst betrayal he had heard of that day.
Tamiko, on the other hand, was grinning at him like a Cheshire cat. He looked so happy like that was an idea he wouldn’t mind doing if it made Kosta feel free. Honestly, he was down for whatever the fuck it was as long as his Erasthai was happy.
He loved Kosta.
He would do everything for Kosta.
Everything.
"You wouldn’t."
"Wanna bet? I could bloom. And let them know now... Especially since you want to run and take more suppressants when you’re the prettiest omega in the entire realm, princess. The only omega who has my heart.
"I can’t stand seeing you hurt, Kosta. But if you insist on it, I’ll just share that scent with everyone... everyone. Who knows, someone in Geralt might just want to bend the knee for that scent," Tamiko teased.
Kosta pulled him into a tight hug, like he was never going to let Tamiko go. It was probably the best of things for both of them.
The thought of Gabriel Grealor getting to scent Tamiko was just insane.
Kosta refused to even think of it.
He was in so much pain that he didn’t even fight it.
If it had been a normal day, they would have fought about Tamiko casually dropping Gabe’s name indirectly, whether the man had already chucked up their lives.
But here and now, in his fears, Kosta could only think of his jealousy, and Tamiko loved that for him, because this was the only plausible way to get his Erasthai relaxed. He would probably apologize for the name-dropping later when they were relaxed anyway.
"Don’t... I didn’t want to share you with them. You’re already their prince... I can’t give them more than that. I won’t let them," Kosta said possessively.
Tamiko chuckled as he watched his best friend and Lycan Lord, Danny, walk past them, shaking his head like this wasn’t what he had signed up for.
But then Danny was glad that they were not fighting. Sure, so much had happened back there, but this was better. This was way better, even if it made Danny want to puke his guts out from the sight.
He was glad that this was happening, at least for today.
"Take off the scent patch and be free, my little omega," Tamiko said, kissing Kosta’s shoulder and neck.
He knew what he was doing was probably too intimate since they were still covered in blood. But he was willing to ask anything to avoid seeing his Erasthai have panic attacks again.
"I hate you," Kosta groaned when Tamiko kicked his neck sensually, and Kosta had no choice but to let the suppressant patch off.
"That’s my princess," Tamiko praised before slamming their lips together, once again ignoring everyone who was passing them.
"Oh, to be loved by Tamiko," a warrior sighed as he passed the two lovebirds.
"I never thought I’d see the day the prince would ever bow, and that too, to love," another warrior added, like they were talking about the weather.
"He left the wolves for his love. He didn’t even come because he was the prince. The man followed his heart and has never left since," another added, now as they were past Kosta and Tamiko.
It was the subject of most conversations, and honestly, the price and his Erasthai would just have to get used to it regardless, right? Besides, it wasn’t like it was the worst day of their lives, no?
"The way he picked up the award again to finish the job after that was just perfection."
"Princess... my princess," Tamiko said proudly when he pulled back from the kiss, lips swollen and Kosta’s mega scent blooming again.
The caramel scent as inviting that if they were not supposed to walk the long road back to the castle in honor of the won battle, Tamiko would have portaled them both to the palace and fucked the insecurities out of his Erasthai.
He wanted more of that kiss.
More of that love.
More of the touch, and he couldn’t have that, this long road.
"Why the fuck is the road so long?" Tamiko grumbled as he fixed Kosta’s hair. You would think that this was just another day for them, and Kosta didn’t say much. He let his krushka fix him.
He let Tamiko breathe him in, and he let Tamiko have his way with him. He was so ready to be taken here, but he had to remind himself that they were not supposed to traumatize the warriors anymore.
There was enough of that already back on a battlefield.
This right here was not what had been expected anyway.
"Someone’s impatient," Kosta teased before he turned to fix Tamiko, too, and soon enough, they were back on the road to the palace again.
This time, their hands were entwined, like their souls were they were not leaving each other, and the premise of reform was there with them.
"My omega," Tamiko whispered proudly.
Kosta blushed under the moonlight, his smile lighting up Tamiko’s world over and again.
The prince would do anything to keep that smile, and he wasn’t about to lose it. He would do whatever it took to make sure life was easier for Kosta. That was the only tight matter dot the prince even as they joined others.
"Yours, always," Kosta said, lifting their entwined hands to their swollen lips. He then pressed a soft kiss on them, making his tongue run on Tamiko’s fingers. That right there had the prince stop for a moment.
It was as if his brain had short-circuited, and he needed a restart.
The only problem was, the only one who could help him was the very reason he was losing his goddamn mind on the road home. It was like he was with the prettiest kind of sin that was testing his boundaries and strengths.
He wasn’t sure he would reach the palace as a whole man at this point.
And Kosta...
Didn’t stop.
"You okay, your majesty?" Kosta dared to ask, and the warriors just smiled cheekily as they walked past the prince and his naughty omega. They could tell that they were happy, and frankly, that was heaven for all of them.
All of them.
"You’re playing a dangerous game, princess," Tamiko strained out as he adjusted his slacks. Kosta knew the effect he had on the prince, and he loved it.
He loved that only he was making Tamiko hard and slightly uncomfortable in the most delicious of ways.
He loved that he was the only one allowed to be close to Tamiko. The one who had every right to be beside the mad prince, no matter what happened. He loved everything about loving Tamiko.
"I can help with this..." Kosta said as he used his left hand that wasn’t entwined with Tamiko’s and cupped the tent on the prince’s slacks. It was so casual that anyone passing by just assumed that he was fixing the prince’s shorts.
It was night too, so no one would see what was happening unless the prince returned, and Tamiko would be dead before he turned to give everyone else a view of his gracious discomfort.
"Baby..." Tamiko warned, and Kosta’s hold didn’t stop, even as Tamiko pushed them forward gently. It was as if he were trying to stay sane in the most insane of places.
Funny how that was just a long road from the battlefield to the palace. A road that they usually walked for less than an hour, and they had been on this road for what felt like an eternity.
Oh, but Tamiko was losing his mind.
"Alright... alright, my soul," Kosta chuckled mischievously as he removed his hand and resumed walking like they had been before.
"I’m hungry... I wish you could
fill me up
," Kosta whispered in Tamiko’s ears, and the prince broke into a fit of coughs.
