Witcher: Master Kiliman’s Grand Ambitions-Chapter 48: Triss? Four Sorceresses—Can I Handle That?

Chapter 48

After reading the notices on the bulletin board, Geralt naturally decided not to let any of them slip away.
Aside from the low-paying monster hunting commissions posted by the city guard that even dogs would turn their noses up at, all the other commissions were opportunities for him to build connections while making some money.
After all, whether he took commissions or not, he still needed to hunt monsters and absorb soul energy.
Thinking about it this way, the rewards from employers felt like free bonuses, which made him quite happy just considering it.
Holding this amusing thought, Geralt went to meet City Guard Captain Vincent Meis, the wealthy merchant Radovid at the port, and Kalkstein who had been anxiously waiting for this commission.
Thanks to his identity as a witcher, his impressively powerful and tall physique, and his strikingly handsome appearance, he easily established cooperative relationships with all three and received their commissions.
Unfortunately, the negotiations about commission rewards didn't go very smoothly. These three were all stingy misers who wouldn't part with a single hair, including the wealthy merchant Radovid who appeared generous but was actually quite tight-fisted and cunning.
Even with Geralt's excellent eloquence and prolonged bargaining, he only managed to get about a ten percent increase from the prices listed on the notices—better than nothing but barely noticeable.
After dealing with the morning's frustrations, he quickly composed himself, changed into what he considered his most dashing witcher gear, brought a small gift, and headed to Vizima's wealthy district.
This was where the two royal sorceresses resided.
Compared to the less familiar Keira, the first person Geralt wanted to visit was naturally our lovely, lively, and understanding red-haired sorceress Triss.
As a player who had experienced the games, how could Geralt not like this sorceress who performed exceptionally well and was quite endearing in the games?
Soon, after asking a few passersby for directions, Geralt arrived at a three-story residence with a garden and courtyard and knocked on the door.
A maid who looked about fifteen or sixteen years old, wearing a white apron, opened the door and looked at him with cautious and questioning eyes, asking:
"May I ask who you are?"
"Is there something you need from the owner of this house?"
Seeing the young maid, Geralt showed a friendly smile while lowering his head slightly so she could see his distinctive beast-like eyes, then spoke:
"Please inform Lady Triss, the royal advisor."
"Witcher Geralt requests an audience."
"I saw the commission notice in the square and came to discuss related matters with Lady Triss."
Geralt behaved very politely, and his tall, handsome appearance helped the young maid relax her guard.
She stared at the witcher's face for a few seconds, then nodded as if confirming something, saying:
"Very well, Mr. Geralt, I will go inquire with Lady Triss now."
"However, Lady Triss has several guests today and may not be available to receive visitors."
"Whether she's willing to see you or not, I cannot say."
Geralt nodded, thanked her again, while feeling curious about who Triss's guests might be. Other sorceresses perhaps?
He waited for about four or five minutes, just as he began to feel that he probably wouldn't get to see Triss today and was starting to feel regretful.
The young maid quickly pushed open the door again, came up to him, and said quietly:
"Apologies, Mr. Geralt, for making you wait so long."
"Originally, Lady Triss hoped to schedule another time to meet with you."
"But her guests also expressed interest in meeting you, so they discussed it for a while."
"Please follow me. Lady Triss and her guests are currently in the drawing room where you can meet them."
Following behind the young maid, Geralt entered Triss's residence and began carefully observing his surroundings.
As someone born into a famous wealthy merchant family from Maribor and an established sorceress in her own right, Triss was quite well-off financially.
Her residence, while not extremely spacious, could still be considered a mansion within this wealthy district.
Both the garden and courtyard were filled with various precious flowers and plants, decorated exquisitely and beautifully, creating a refreshing and pleasant sight.
After entering the main residence, various gold-gilded, elegantly styled decorations, furniture, and tableware came into view, showcasing the sorceress's substantial wealth. Clearly, she was a wealthy young woman living comfortably, her riches not inferior to those of ordinary nobility.
Geralt followed the maid through the door, walked down the corridor, and soon arrived at a spacious drawing room.
The moment he entered, he immediately felt several pairs of beautiful eyes falling upon him, creating not insignificant pressure—clearly these were no ordinary people.
Following these gazes, Geralt raised his eyebrows slightly in surprise.
Four women of different appearances but all exceptionally beautiful sat on two sofas in various poses, all looking at him with keen interest. These were clearly Triss and her guests—all sorceresses.
No one spoke from either side, only communicating something through their eyes, smiles playing at the corners of their mouths.
Sensing the somewhat unusual atmosphere, Geralt's thoughts raced. While his expression remained unchanged, inwardly he felt somewhat astonished.
He never expected that a routine visit would lead to encountering so many sorceresses.
Had this place been taken over by a sorceresses' gathering?
But soon, based on game knowledge and character models, Geralt quickly identified several of them by their distinctive features.
The woman with long red hair, looking to be in her twenties, appearing both cute and possessing a lover's sensuality—this should be Triss Merigold, the beloved "Merry".
On another sofa sat a woman wearing a dress with a plunging neckline, adorned with a large multicolored gemstone necklace, revealing generous amounts of pale skin and two rounded hemispheres. With her short pale gold hair, petite figure, and somewhat haughty expression—this should be Temeria's other royal advisor, Keira Metz.
As for another woman sitting with Triss—stunningly beautiful with pale skin, purple eyes, black curly hair, wearing black form-fitting clothes that revealed her voluptuous and graceful figure.
Geralt speculated this must be Yennefer, who had recently been rescued by Geralt from the Wild Hunt and was currently suffering from amnesia.
He just didn't know why this sorceress with the scent of lilac and gooseberries was here at this time?
As for the final one.
Sitting with Keira, blonde with blue eyes, wearing a sweet smile on her face, with exquisitely sensual features, dressed quite revealingly—almost showing entire rounded, perky spheres and long, pale legs—possessing the most impressive figure among the sorceresses.
He wondered, who might she be?
