Witcher: Master Kiliman’s Grand Ambitions-Chapter 67: Hugging the Queen’s Thigh

Chapter 67

Just as Francesca had said.
High-level spellcasters were extremely rare, mostly occupying high positions with mysterious whereabouts, difficult to contact, and even fewer in number than so-called kings - they were the true powerhouses of this world.
If not for the current weakened state of the elf race, and Francesca's political constraints preventing her from handling many matters personally.
This powerful high-level sorceress probably wouldn't need his help at all.
Whether it was the previous two wyverns or dealing with Scoia'tael members, these were things Francesca could accomplish effortlessly.
It was precisely for this reason that Kieriman could so easily befriend this high-level sorceress.
Everyone has their weaknesses, it's just that this elf queen's weaknesses were particularly obvious.
With his current strength, if he encountered any troublesome monsters.
Such as certain evil gods, high-level demons, or other super monsters like higher-dimensional beings.
If he could request this high-level sorceress's assistance, he might be able to defeat monsters far above his level and obtain extremely rich rewards.
This transaction was a rare opportunity.
Kieriman wasn't particularly short on money, and even acquiring great wealth wouldn't significantly enhance his personal strength.
So, looking at the stunningly beautiful elf queen before him, the witcher revealed a faint smile and said:
"It's an honor to make this transaction with you, Lady Francesca."
"Here's my proposal - the money from this deal can remain with you temporarily, even without interest."
"However, I have one condition."
"You are a powerful sorceress, someone to look up to, and the most powerful spellcaster I currently know."
"As a witcher, even I sometimes encounter monsters that are difficult to handle."
"I hope in such situations, I can receive your assistance."
"Of course, I will provide appropriate compensation, not limited to money - it could be other conditions."
"Just like how you hire me, we could establish some form of cooperative relationship."
A poor witcher actually had the audacity to propose hiring an elf queen, who was also a high-level sorceress.
Although such words sounded ridiculous.
The smile on Francesca's face didn't fade at all, remaining just as elegant and beautiful.
Her eyes shifted, looking at the witcher before her with a meaningful gaze as she said:
"Some form of cooperative relationship?"
"Hehe, Mr. Kieriman."
"You're truly an ambitious witcher."
This situation didn't surprise Francesca;
she had long considered Kieriman to be both clever and ambitious.
Their relationship had always involved some mutual cooperation and utilization from the beginning.
Now it was just being openly acknowledged.
After considering for a few seconds.
Francesca, as if she had been prepared all along, reached out and placed an exquisite gemstone box on the table between them.
Inside the box was a pocket watch-shaped metal magical artifact, with a quail egg-sized purple gem embedded at its center, looking quite valuable.
As Kieriman examined this magical artifact with his eyes, Francesca's light and melodious voice sounded:
"This is a special magical artifact, extremely rare and precious. I call it a magic communicator."
"No matter how far apart we are, as long as you inject sufficient magic power into the gem, you can use it to communicate with me remotely through voice."
"When you encounter monsters that are difficult to handle, or have questions that need answering, you can contact me using this magic communicator."
"But you should understand that in most situations, I can only provide you with discreet assistance. I cannot let humans discover my identity."
"Only when I'm certain my identity won't be exposed can I possibly take action to help you deal with some monsters."
At this point, a slightly playful smile appeared on Francesca's face as she said with amusement:
"Since it's a cooperative relationship, then work well for me, Mr. Witcher."
"High-level sorceresses rarely help others, and my price is quite high."
"The money you've left with me will probably be spent very quickly."
………………
After their conversation ended.
Kieriman and Francesca had openly acknowledged their cooperative relationship, and their speech was no longer as evasive or probing as before.
In the current situation, although he could help this elf queen with some minor matters, her power was actually many times greater than his.
Whether in personal strength or the elf forces that Francesca ruled, neither could be compared to a witcher who was still at the mortal level.
Even so, Kieriman was quite pleased, feeling like he had scored another win.
Holding onto this elf queen's long legs.
Some plans that previously seemed too risky now appeared feasible to execute.
Like his persistent desire to go to Black Tern Island to find the Lake Goddess, help the goddess achieve victory against the evil god Dagon, and eliminate the thousands of evil merfolk in Lake Vizima.
He couldn't even imagine how much soul power he would gain if he could absorb this evil god's soul, even if it was just an avatar's soul?
If he could be as lucky as Geralt, gaining this goddess's favor and, well, spending intimate time with the Lake Goddess.
Could he possibly gain hundreds of soul ascension progress points at once, directly entering the transcendent stage?
The unknown is what's most worth anticipating.
As his contact with Francesca deepened and their cooperation continued, the opportunity to pluck this valley daisy drew closer and closer.
According to statistics from professionals in Ammonite Village, the wyvern materials in his storage space were worth approximately nine thousand orens, with each wyvern averaging six hundred orens.
This was absolutely a considerably high price, entirely thanks to the storage space's time-stop function that kept the materials in nearly freshly killed condition.
If it were ordinary hunters, even if they had incredibly good luck and managed to hunt a wyvern.
By the time they finished processing the materials and transported them back to the city for sale, besides the leather and claws, over fifty percent of the materials would likely have spoiled, making it difficult to fetch high prices.
Even Francesca, with her centuries of experience and numerous elf treasures, became curious about Kieriman's ability.
The elf queen herself possessed several magical artifacts capable of storing items - the small leather pouch hanging from her slender waist was one of them.
But a treasure that could stop time within a space and keep ingredients and food perpetually fresh was something even this high-level sorceress had never seen before.
Kieriman didn't reveal that this was his innate ability, instead being vague and telling the sorceress that this was his secret.
Seeing that the elf queen before him still wanted to pursue other questions.
The witcher brought out his trump card - the signature game of the witcher world, Gwent.
"Your Majesty, how about we play a round of Gwent?"
"The winner can ask the loser one question!"
"And no lying allowed!"
