Witcher: Master Kiliman’s Grand Ambitions-Chapter 70: The Sorceress is Awesome!

Chapter 70

The efforts of the entire night need not be elaborated.
The next morning, when Kieriman opened his eyes again, Margarita was still asleep.
This woman truly lived up to being the headmistress of Aretuza Academy, possessing strength approaching that of a high-level sorceress.
It seemed he had severely underestimated his own growth speed in the past.
The massive gap in soul power was actually the biggest obstacle to his improvement.
Just a rough calculation showed that raising one exclusive skill from beginner level to LV6 required about ten thousand points of soul power, meaning he needed to eliminate ten thousand drowners or nekkers.
And his exclusive skills, including those he hadn't learned yet, numbered at least ten or more.
One hundred thousand soul power!
Damn it, even wiping out all the monsters within Temeria's borders might not be enough to gather this much soul power.
And once he entered the extraordinary tier, with the skill level cap increased, the soul power gap would undoubtedly multiply many times over.
This was only the third tier of the divine ascent staircase—he hadn't even touched the edge of the godhood tier yet.
Thinking about the road ahead felt overwhelmingly long and challenging!
………………
After getting dressed, Kieriman prepared to go downstairs to fetch some hot water and food.
To maintain a good relationship with Margarita, this high-quality wealthy woman, in the future, he planned to establish an image of himself as a thoughtful and excellent boyfriend.
Although she seemed easy to handle, women needed sweet words and careful attention.
When he went downstairs,
he found that the black-haired sorceress Yennefer seemed to have been awake for a while, sitting on the sofa with an impatient expression, holding a cup of black tea in her left hand and a different book in her right hand.
Hearing the sound of someone coming downstairs, she glanced sideways at Kieriman, her face expressionless, as if she wasn't very welcoming.
Kieriman felt somewhat bewildered, unsure where he had offended this sorceress. Just as he was thinking about how to start a conversation,
Yennefer snorted and said:
"You were really too rude last night. Didn't you consider the feelings of other residents?"
"Next time, please rent another room elsewhere when you date."
"It's really unexpected—I heard Rita was a conservative sorceress."
"The last time she had a boyfriend was over fifty years ago."
Deep down, Kieriman was actually a relatively conservative man. Being confronted like this made him feel somewhat embarrassed.
But honestly, the two of them had been too absorbed last night and hadn't considered the feelings of Yennefer living in the next room.
Moreover, this black-haired sorceress was originally one of the more irritable among sorceresses, so no wonder she was angry.
But you're a sorceress!
Couldn't you just cast a soundproofing spell or something? I think you're just curious and wanted to listen, which is why you heard everything all night.
Kieriman twitched the corner of his mouth but of course didn't argue with this irritable woman.
He nodded to her apologetically and was about to walk past Yennefer to fetch a towel and basin from the washroom
when suddenly the black-haired sorceress waved him over, her tone somewhat stiff:
"Could you come here for a moment, Mr. Kieriman?"
"There are some things I'd like to ask you."
Kieriman didn't really want to go over, but considering he might need help from sorceresses in the future, he mustered his patience and sat down opposite Yennefer.
It had to be said, Yennefer was quite impressive.
Her figure was full and tall, her appearance coldly beautiful, her fashion sense excellent, and her quarter-elf bloodline gave her a subtle difference in temperament compared to ordinary human sorceresses, making her exceptionally striking.
Simply put, she was a cold, beautiful older sister type.
If she wore black stockings and glasses, her charm would instantly double.
Probably due to amnesia, Yennefer's face always carried a sense of inexplicable irritation—she likely knew that the lost memories were important to her.
The sorceress bit her lower lip, crossed her arms, holding the book in front of her, and spoke with some difficulty:
"Mr. Kieriman, you're also a witcher."
"Can you tell me about what you know regarding the White Wolf Geralt?"
Kieriman sighed inwardly.
His guess was correct—the thing Yennefer would ask him about was probably only this.
However, as an old player who had read the original works and played the series games, he knew even more than Yennefer herself did in the past.
Unfortunately, many things were secrets of a transmigrator and couldn't be casually revealed to others.
Looking at her beautiful face and sincere eyes, the witcher thought for a moment and finally decided to disclose some information about the Wild Hunt and Ciri.
If nothing else, it would be a contribution to Ciri saving the world in the future.
After all, as a disguised Viper School witcher, this school's original founding purpose was to track the Wild Hunt's footsteps and defeat this monster army that constantly created tragedies worldwide.
He was also somewhat curious—currently, the Wild Hunt traveling through various worlds were actually special soul doppelgangers, not their true bodies.
He wondered if these souls would die along with their counterparts if he devoured them, or if they would keep regenerating like unkillable cockroaches.
And how much soul power could he obtain himself?
Kieriman licked his lips, formulated his words in his mind, and then spoke:
"You have an adopted daughter—the Child of Destiny for witcher Geralt, a girl he obtained through the Law of Surprise."
"Her name is Ciri, princess of Cintra, a girl with the Elder Blood."
"According to my investigations, the reason you and Geralt survived was because Ciri used the power of the Elder Blood to save you and Geralt during the Rivia massacre."
………………
Kieriman didn't reveal too much, just briefly explained that Yennefer had been abducted by the Wild Hunt, endured unimaginable torture, and consequently lost her memory.
The White Wolf Geralt had been captured by the Wild Hunt while trying to save her and was now missing.
This was intelligence many people didn't know. After hearing it, Yennefer unconsciously fell into silence.
