Wizard: Starting With Synthesized Gems-Chapter 111: Consciousness Splitting Curse

Chapter 111

Locke followed the treatment center workers into a large office on the second floor prepared for first-class wizard apprentices.
In this office, there were six first-class wizard apprentices, and they all wore potion master assistant certification badges on their wizard robes. Several of the first-class wizard apprentices even had honor badges for developing new potion formulas on the hems of their robes.
These six first-class wizard apprentices were all students of the three resident potion masters at the treatment center.
At this moment, they all glanced at Locke as he walked in with the workers, but immediately returned their attention to what they were doing.
This was also the first time Locke had seen such a high concentration of first-class wizard apprentices in one place.
Even in the public classrooms, first-class wizard apprentices rarely gathered together for a single class.
Of course, it might also be because he was Witch Sophia's first student, without any senior or junior fellow disciples.
Other first-class wizard apprentices might not be like him. But the advantage was freedom, with no one usually managing him.
The worker bowed to Locke and said, "Senior Augustine, please wait here for now. The treatment center is very busy, and there will be work requiring you soon."
"The first floor is mostly handled by second-class wizard apprentices, but the main treatment plans all need to be managed by you first-class wizard apprentices. The second floor is mainly your responsibility, though of course the specific operations are still assisted by us junior students."
"You can first look at the materials to quickly understand our treatment center."
Locke nodded briefly, "Alright."
Since he had just entered the Healing Hand Treatment Center and temporarily had nothing to do, Locke cautiously began observing the conditions of the patients in this office, as well as reading through the public materials recorded by the treatment center.
"Someone has already compiled the common curse magic of the Blood Curse Court," Locke said with satisfaction as he looked at the materials.
Even if taken outside, this material could be exchanged for quite a few magic stones.
Not to mention anything else, this was practically a comprehensive curse magic manual, carefully categorizing the differences between various curses, curse characteristics, transmission methods, malignancy levels, and countermeasures.
Most curses had specialized potion formulas for detoxification, but the most feared were those blood curses or powerful curses without specific antidote potions. There were also newly invented curses for which potion formulas hadn't been developed yet.
Locke pondered, "By actively degrading existing curses, new curse magic can be created in a short time, bypassing treatment plans that already have specific effective potions. This creates enormous pressure for the white wizards. Correspondingly, our potion master assistants need to fall under the continuous pressure of developing new potion formulas."
"For those in the Blood Curse Court, this is indeed a method. Hussein Quinn probably thought of it this way."
Upon hearing this, a female potion master assistant not far from Locke immediately looked up at him, her eyes showing slight displeasure, as if she felt Locke's thinking approach was too close to those black wizards.
Following her gaze, Locke's attention fell on the victim she was treating, a first-class wizard apprentice from another wizard organization.
He wore the academy badge of Frozen Tower.
However, at this moment, the Frozen Tower first-class wizard apprentice's eyes were somewhat unfocused, and when speaking with the female potion master assistant, his speech logic showed obvious jumps.
The female potion master assistant asked, "The potions to treat you will cost quite a bit of money. Do you want to sign a loan contract? The treatment process requires you to prepay at least two thousand magic stones. Do you have this money?"
The Frozen Tower first-class wizard apprentice replied, "Oh, I have... I have magic stones. But six thousand is too expensive. What potion costs so much?"
The female potion master assistant frowned. "I said you need to prepay two thousand magic stones, not six thousand magic stones."
"And I'm telling you, most of the magic stones you give go to my wizard mentor, and the remaining small portion I have to split with the pharmaceutical laboratories and potion shops. I can only take an extremely small portion. Don't think we earn much."
The Frozen Tower first-class wizard apprentice answered while shaking his head, "Oh, it's two thousand magic stones. Two thousand magic stones are too heavy, they'll crush the servants."
Locke noticed that this Frozen Tower apprentice's mental state seemed abnormal.
The female potion master assistant obviously noticed this too. She looked puzzledly at this curse magic victim, "I misunderstood him. His cognition is severely confused, and it has a tendency to worsen over time."
"His speech logic has been severely damaged, and his thinking cognition shows serious jumps. Although he wasn't hit by a blood curse, it's still a rather malicious curse."
"Is it a Stupor Curse, Multiple Self Curse, or Consciousness Splitting Curse?"
A male potion master assistant nearby, upon hearing this, reminded her, "Axi, the Stupor Curse only makes the victim emotionally depressed with decreased mobility and no executive ability, and its characteristic feature is pupil dilation."
"The Multiple Self Curse would cause him to babble incoherently, but I don't think he's doing that. I think this is more likely the common Consciousness Splitting Curse."
"Give him ten consecutive Bear Spirit Bile Detoxification Potions to increase his surface magic resistance. Then have him continuously take three Sea Slug Mucus Potions to repair his brain nerves, followed by one Twin Flower Soul Condensing Potion to consolidate his consciousness. That should cure this curse."
"And the price of these potions should be covered by two thousand magic stones. The downside is that after drinking so many potions, his magical power will be severely degraded in the short term, and it will affect his future potential."
The female potion master assistant named Axi nodded in agreement. "Andrew, your thinking is always more agile than mine."
"Let's not worry about his future potential for now. If we don't cure him now, he might spend his whole life as a madman."
Axi said, "Andrew, help me get the Bear Spirit Bile Potion and help me pour it down his throat."
The two then worked together to control the Frozen Tower first-class wizard apprentice and began treating him according to their previous plan.
Listening nearby, Locke couldn't help but nod. He also thought Andrew's treatment plan was very good, so he quietly learned by observing.
But when Locke saw that first-class wizard apprentice being controlled by Axi and Andrew like a wooden puppet, his heart suddenly skipped a beat, and he felt a strange sensation.
It was as if ignoring something would lead to a malicious incident.
Wait a moment.
Locke quickly looked down at the three Omen Mandrake vines that had been wrapped around his right hand and maintained in an invisible state.
At this moment, all three Omen Mandrake Vines had turned completely red!
That was a serious warning to their master.
Someone in this office had serious hostility toward him, and judging by the situation, it seemed to contain killing intent.
Locke quickly scanned his surroundings, then locked his gaze on that Frozen Tower wizard apprentice. He suddenly realized what felt wrong.
In the materials he had just read, it showed that the Consciousness Splitting Curse was a common curse of the Blood Curse Court, and this curse had several characteristics.
