After Breaking Up, I Married the General-Chapter 131 - 130: Another large-scale attack of the Zergs 2

Chapter 131

Chapter 131: Chapter 130: Another large-scale attack of the Zergs 2
Ryzel just finished cleaning up a bit and arranging the potions he made, and he already heard Lyre calling his name outside.
When he went out, he saw that Lyre was already taking out the dishes he got from the cafeteria.
"Why did you get a lot?" Ryzel asked while looking at the dishes on the table.
Lyre obviously got more food than what they were normally eating.
"Yeah, I got more food for us because we need to have more energy for us to work."
They indeed needed more energy because all of them were surely very busy making potions.
"What potions did they assign for you to make?"
"All of us who just came were all busy making common soothing potions while the others were busy making the stabilizers that you made.
As soon as the news about the incoming zergs came, all the guides immediately rushed in making stabilizers.
Apparently, the stocks we have are still not enough, and we couldn’t even get those stabilizers from the capital.
We have enough stocks for common soothing and stabilizing potions because we got a lot of them from the capital.
But the stabilizers that you made were really not enough, so all the other guides were very busy and were barely resting," Lyre said while putting food on his plate.
"I see. I also made some of those stabilizers; they can get it from me later. I’ll also continue making stabilizers," Ryzel said while also putting dishes on his plate.
Ryzel already completed making the stabilizers that were effective for S-level sentinels, but they weren’t tested yet, so they surely couldn’t be used in the battle this time.
The number of sentinels that were below S level was also a lot compared to the S level sentinels, so Ryzel had to prioritize making stabilizers that could be effective for low-level sentinels rather than making stabilizers that couldn’t be used yet.
"I can take it with me later. I will also go to the medical supply center to submit the potions I did this morning."
"Ok, then I’ll give you the space button later. Also ask them to deliver more herbs to me. I don’t have enough herbs already."
He was in a daze days ago before he and Treyton went out, so he hadn’t been able to care about the stocks of herbs he had.
He had been making a lot of potions, so the herbs he had with him weren’t that much anymore.
"I’ll surely tell them to deliver more herbs to you. But are you sure that you are already okay? Lyre asked while looking at him.
"Yes, don’t worry. I’m already fine," Ryzel said while smiling a bit.
Lyre was asking about his condition again. It seemed that he really got them worried about him because of his state a few days ago.
"That’s good. I was really worried about you.
You know you didn’t even have that strong of a reaction when you broke up with that scumbag ex of yours.
You could already do a lot of things just after a breakup.
So, I was really scared of your state a few days ago.
I don’t know what you’ve seen, but I’m glad you are already okay," Lyre said with a smile.
Lyre knew a bit about the situation of the guides they rescued because he was the one who was talking to those guides the most.
However, Lyre doesn’t know much of what they really encountered and what he did to make the guides recover.
Lyre just knew that he did something to help the guides, and in return he became what he was like a few days ago.
Of course, what he had seen from the guides couldn’t be compared to just a single breakup.
Even if that breakup could have ruined his life, it still couldn’t be compared to what he had seen and felt from the memories of those guides.
So, of course, his reaction was indeed more intense and serious.
"You don’t have to be worried anymore because I’m already okay."
"I know, but you should still be careful and not work nonstop again," Lyre warned.
"I know; I’m going to rest more after the battle," Ryzel answered.
He really couldn’t rest too much with the battle still ongoing.
Layton and the other soldiers are still fighting, so they also couldn’t relax yet and have to continuously make potions.
With the numbers of zergs out there, the battle would surely last for days.
"A lot of zergs are attacking this time, which really isn’t good. The state of the soldiers certainly wouldn’t be that good," Lyre said with a sigh.
"Yes, so did they assign you to do group guiding?"
"Yes, Mervin isn’t fighting outside, so I’m also assigned for group guiding every afternoon," Lyre said.
Most of the guides that would be assigned for guiding would take turns guiding others.
If the sentinels they were assigned to were still in battle, then they could still make some potions, and then they would rest when the scheduled rest of their sentinels is approaching.
As for Lyre, who could guide every sentinel in the group, guiding his schedule is, of course, different from others.
Mervin was also not participating in direct combat and was responsible for coordinating the whole battlefield, so Lyre had an everyday schedule.
"What about you? Did they assign you to do guiding?" Lyre asked.
"Mervin told me about it this morning. Layton only agreed that I could guide those 2S level sentinels when they had their breaks."
He wouldn’t be cleaning up all the pollutants in their mental sea this time and was only responsible for calming the pollutants and removing some pollutants.
So, he even said that he could do some guiding for some S-level sentinels, but Layton didn’t allow it.
Mervin also said that he was still making potions, so it’s indeed good to only be assigned to do guiding for 2S sentinels.
Ryzel knew that they were actually worried about him, but he didn’t say anything further because Layton was also participating in the battle.
There’s always uncertainty in battle, so he had to always reserve some of his metal power for Layton because Layton’s situation isn’t that good yet.
"That’s good.
Ryzel and Lyre continued talking until they finished eating.
After they finished eating, Lyre was already ready to leave, so Ryzel gave him all the potions that he had made.
If it wasn’t a busy time, Lyre certainly wouldn’t go out easily and would continue to chat with him first.
However, this time they didn’t have that luxury to continue chatting first because everyone is busy because of the ongoing battle.
It wouldn’t sit well with them to continue chatting while others were risking their lives fighting the zergs.
So, after Lyre left, Ryzel went back in making stabilizers.
Just an hour after Lyre left, they also sent the herbs that he needed in making potions.
Ryzel continued making stabilizers until Star disturbed him to remind him.
[Ringggggg
Master, there’s only thirty minutes left before the break of Lieutenant General Ren.
Please stop what you are doing and take a break.
"I see."
After being reminded by Star, he indeed remembered that Lieutenant General Ren’s rest time is indeed near.
Ryzel needed to guide Lieutenant General Ren when he came, so Ryzel started finishing the potion he was currently making.
[Ringggggg
Master, there are only twenty-eight minutes left before the break of Lieutenant General Ren.
Please stop what you are doing and take a break.
Star reminded him again just after two minutes.
"I know. I just need to finish the potion that I am currently making. Star, you don’t need to remind me again."
He needed to make the potion because it would just be a waste if he just left the potion unfinished.
If they just leave a potion unfinished, they could indeed continue making it, but then its grade might be lessened.
For him it would just be lessened, but for others most of their potions would be scrapped.
So, all potion makers would always try to finish the potions they’re making before resting or doing other things.
After he finished making the stabilizer, he stopped and cleaned up his table and arranged all the stabilizers that he made.
Afterwards, he sat on the chair and closed his eyes to rest for a bit while waiting for Lieutenant General Ren to come.
Then after a few minutes, Sir Fan, who was responsible for guarding him instead of Luna, knocked on the door.
Ryzel knew that Sir Fan was probably knocking because Lieutenant General Ren had already come, so Ryzel went out of his laboratory.
When he went out, he saw Sir Fan outside of his lab.
"Ryzel, Lieutenant General Ren is already waiting in your break room."
"Ok, let’s go."
When he went to his break room, he saw Lieutenant General Ren sitting on the sofa.
"Ryzel, long time no see!"
