After Breaking Up, I Married the General-Chapter 153 - 152: In the federation 5

Chapter 153

Chapter 153: Chapter 152: In the federation 5
Of course, since he knew that Lyre likes his looks, he also knew how to seduce Lyre. He would often use his face to have more time with Lyre, especially in bed.
Of course, aside from their bed matters, he would also often use it to act pitiful in front of Lyre.
Even when both of them knew that he was only acting, it was actually still effective for Lyre.
So, Mervin, knowing how Lyre is, began acting pitiful again.
"You’re not really going to not like me anymore because of it, are you?" Mervin said while looking at Lyre who was in his embrace.
Lyre gave him an eye roll and said, "Stop with the act. Don’t worry, I would still like you a bit even if you look less handsome."
Mervin chuckled at Lyre’s response, but with Lyre’s next question, he couldn’t smile anymore.
"By the way, how is it? Did you receive any news of them appearing in other places?"
"No, I just talked to Lewis’ father a while ago and there’s still no news about them," Mervin said honestly.
Mervin couldn’t just deceive Lyre and say that they already had some news just because he was worried about him.
"Don’t worry, with how strong Lewis is, and with Ryzel by his side, they won’t have any problems," Mervin said in comfort.
"I know, both strong and intelligent so they’re probably alright.
Even if they’re caught by villains because of traveling through the space channel, with Ryzel’s brain he could surely survive.
Even if they go somewhere very far with little supplies, I know that Ryzel could still live well for at least 10 years.
We had prepared a lot of things for him when we were preparing for the worst because of his match results with a lot of sentinels.
Knowing Ryzel, he certainly didn’t remove his stocks of supplies from his space.
So, I know he still has enough supplies for a very long time.
As for General Lewis, he is a strong sentinel so I’m sure that as long as his mental sea is in good state then he won’t have a problem with his food supplies and other things because you guys can really eat anything without having any problem at all.
I just want to know if there’s already news about them."
"Lewis is also the same. His title of being a god of war by people isn’t a joke. Even if he was severely injured, he could certainly still take down a lot of people with just his strength.
Besides, he certainly had a lot more protective covers in his space, together with high level weapons stored in them.
So, even if they encountered enemies just after coming out of the space channel, they could probably still survive.
Even if they couldn’t deal with a lot of enemies, they could certainly run away.
And even if they were really sent somewhere very far or somewhere with a worse environment with nothing in it, they could still survive.
Lewis also had a lot of necessary things for survival. I know he even had a small spaceship stored in one of his largest space bracelets.
Even though the ship was only a small one, its toughness and speed is certainly among the top, as the materials for that ship were all rare, that’s why its performance is certainly very good.
So, even if we can’t find them, they might have been doing great on their own since they’re even together.
Of course, the search for them still won’t stop even if we know that they might be alright."
Of course, both of them knew that the situation might not be as optimistic as they had hoped, but both of them weren’t willing to mention it.
They really hoped that both of their friends were alright, that’s why they had listed a lot of good points that could prove that both people were really alright.
Of course, they also wanted to comfort each other and not let each other worry more, so they weren’t mentioning anything that would just add to their worries.
Afterwards, the two began eating breakfast while talking about the situation outside and not about Ryzel and Lewis any longer.
"With the reinforcements that arrived, when could we finish dealing with the zergs outside?"
"If nothing happens again and if no zerg groups arrive again, then we will surely be able to clean them up in two weeks."
"I really hope that it will end already. A lot of soldiers have already accumulated a lot of pollutants in their mental sea because of the continuous battle outside."
"The soldiers are still all motivated so they’re doing really well in killing zergs, so we might even end the battle earlier than expected."
"I hope so."
"I know you feel bad seeing the state of the sentinels that were coming back after fighting outside, but don’t force yourself too much, okay?" Mervin said while looking at Lyre seriously.
Lyre didn’t reply immediately, so Mervin added, "Look, I think you are getting thinner in just a few days.
So don’t force yourself and keep taking rejuvenating potions just so that you can continue playing for them to be a bit better.
I’m really worried about you, so don’t force yourself too much and take proper rest, okay?"
"Don’t worry. I’m not really forcing myself. I’m also resting too, and I don’t think I got thinner. I think it’s just your imagination."
"That’s better. Don’t try to trick me. The others were ing what you’ve been doing. In fact, they’re not just ing to me, they’re also telling your brother whenever he asks."
"Both of you guys just worry too much," Lyre said, then pouted.
"We are just worried about you. If you really don’t listen to me this time, I might just lock you up in our room so that you couldn’t overwork yourself," Mervin cautioned.
Mervin already knew that Lyre had a rebellious streak and didn’t really listen well to others—even to him—as he was actually used to being pampered by his family.
Fortunately, even though Lyre doesn’t really listen well to others once he thinks of something else, he doesn’t cause too much trouble.
So his family also doesn’t care about it, but this time it was about his health, that’s why Lyre’s brother had visited Lyre a lot of times already and of course talked to him to convince Lyre not to overwork himself.
They knew that Lyre was probably doing it so that he wouldn’t have time to worry about Ryzel and Lewis, but they couldn’t really allow Lyre to continue doing it.
They could only allow him to do it for a few days, but if he continued doing it, it might damage his health, so they had to force him to stop.
Of course, locking him in their room was just a threat because a lot of soldiers could indeed benefit from Lyre’s ability to do group guiding.
Especially since a lot of the stronger guides in the spaceships were currently with their partners in their mechas to immediately treat them if ever they’re triggered to have a mania.
So he couldn’t just lock him up in his room because a lot of sentinels needed his skills.
As his partner, he actually wanted Lyre to just rest as he was already having trouble sleeping because he was worried about Ryzel.
But as the one currently leading the ninth army, he really couldn’t do that.
But if Lyre really didn’t listen, then Mervin really had no choice but to let more people guard him and force him to stop whenever he tried to do more.
"Hmph. I know, I know. I already said that I’m not forcing myself. Don’t worry, I’ll really take care of myself and won’t overdo it," Lyre said and then drank his water as he was already finished eating.
"That’s good. Then—"
Before Mervin could say anything more, his light brain started ringing, which meant there was an emergency.
Mervin immediately accepted the call from the control room.
"What’s the situation?"
"Area E674 was just triggered into simultaneous mania just like before. Currently it shows that 22 S-level sentinels, 46 A-level sentinels, and 105 B-level sentinels were affected," Lieutenant General Zam hurriedly ed.
Mervin had just left the control room an hour ago in the hands of Lieutenant General Zam because he had to to the Marshal.
And it was also his only current break time because the situation in the battlefield was currently okay thanks to the reinforcements that came, that’s why he left the control room in the hands of Lieutenant General Zam for the time being.
He had just left the control room but something happened again, and it’s even the worst thing that they didn’t want to happen again, which was the trigger of having simultaneous mania on the battlefield.
"Dispatch immediate retrieval of the mechas," Mervin ordered, then paused a bit before he continued.
