Chapter 29: Making Love To You?!
"Do you want to experience having sex with me, Julian?"
The question came out of Arcane’s mouth, a question Julian had never imagined he would hear. Especially from someone like him.
Of course, this made him feel torn in two. On one hand, he felt so embarrassed because he had never done it with anyone before. On the other hand, something inside him seemed to push him to answer that he wanted to.
But the man tried to maintain his sanity, pushing away those dirty thoughts.
"What the hell? That’s a ridiculous question!" he exclaimed, feeling embarrassed, his face reddening.
Arcane grinned, stood up from where he was sitting, and walked towards him. Julian, looking panicked, immediately stood up, looking at Arcane who was now in front of him.
"You know that legally we are husbands. Without any big party, and you’re wearing my ring. Isn’t it okay for me to claim my rights as a husband from my own husband?"
"Don’t say such ridiculous things, Arc-"
Suddenly, Arcane’s arms wrapped around his waist and pulled him closer. Their bodies pressed against each other. Julian could even feel the warmth of the man in front of him.
"What’s wrong, my husband? Are you afraid to do it? Or... are you actually impatient about it?"
"I told you not to say such embarrassing things!" Julian tried to pull himself away from Arcane and whatever stupid game he was playing.
However, he forgot that behind him was the dining table. As soon as Julian managed to break free, he fell backwards, right onto the dining table.
Lying on the dining table, Arcane’s grin widened. He held Julian’s wrists above his head. This made the young man unable to move.
He was pinned to the dining table, his wrists firmly gripped by Arcane.
"Ohh, so you want to do it on the dining table? Hmn... I didn’t think I had such a delicious dessert here," said Arcane.
"No, no! You misunderstood! Don’t you dare do anything stupid, Arcane!"
Julian’s heart was beating faster and faster, and his body was starting to feel hot because he could see Arcane’s face so close to his. When his husband’s face approached his neck, his hot breath was so noticeable on his sensitive neck.
’What is he trying to do? Is he really going to make love to me? But why do I feel like this is the right thing to do? It feels so right. No, no, Julian! What are you thinking?!’ he thought to himself with feelings he couldn’t express.
As Arcane remained in his current position, his face close to Julian’s neck, the man inhaled deeply, taking in the scent of the young man before him.
Seeing Julian’s panicked reaction both amused him and made him want to truly claim him as his own.
But Arcane couldn’t. He knew this marriage was only temporary and merely a contract. So why did he want to claim Julian?
’If I do something to him. If I cross the line I set for myself, will he hate me? Will he leave even before this contract ends?’ Arcane thought at that moment.
However, for the first time in eight months together, he didn’t feel afraid that his goal would fail and that he wouldn’t be able to get the information he needed at that school.
But he was afraid that Julian would leave him.
Julian, who closed his eyes in panic, only got a kiss on the forehead before Arcane pulled away. It still surprised him, but his panic and worry immediately subsided when the kiss touched his forehead.
"I was just joking. You look so panicked, like a virgin who’s never been touched before," he said with a chuckle, helping Julian stand up from the dining table.
"You almost gave me a heart attack! But it’s good that you didn’t actually do it. I don’t want to lose my virginity to someone who plays games like you!"
Neither of them was aware of the feelings between them. Although Julian and Arcane were aware of their feelings, they were both hindered by the contract that bound them together.
They were afraid that if one of them crossed that line, the other would surely leave. Julian never knew how Arcane felt because the man never showed or said anything about his feelings.
As for Arcane himself, he saw how Julian was very expressive with everyone and thought that maybe he was the same with him. It was just a daily habit.
After that, they each went to their own rooms, and Julian buried his face in his pillow.
"His face was so close to mine. I was happy, but he was having so much fun playing with me like that. I hope that one day he will really like me seriously." He smiled as he remembered the moment Arcane pinned him down on the dining table.
Julian could feel the happiness and his heart racing.
However, the smile faded every time Julian remembered one question that might have awakened him.
"Would someone like Arcane like a man as reckless as me?"
He remembered how Arcane was surrounded by many beautiful and intelligent girls. Not only were the students beautiful, but some of the teachers at the school were as well. Since women were not required to be married as a condition of admission, it was possible that Arcane liked one of them, right?
"He also never said that he preferred men over women. Doesn’t that mean there’s a possibility he likes women? And with me, it’s just a disguise."
His enthusiasm suddenly vanished. He felt like he had lost hope that Arcane might not really like men, let alone him.
