[BL] Mr. Romano Contracted Husband-Chapter 39: First Date

Chapter 39

Chapter 39: First Date
On the weekend, Julian and Arcane agreed to go on a date. Although they had often gone out together, this was their first hangout since they had officially become lovers.
After getting ready, they left the house and headed to the station. Arcane invited Julian to go to the next town, which was not too far away and only took 20 minutes by train.
"Where are we actually going? You didn’t tell me our destination. I can’t look it up on the internet!" Julian protested, because he usually looked up his destinations on the internet so he would know where he was going.
However, Arcane didn’t think that was necessary, because he would show him the way and the places they would visit.
"You have me to show you the place. You don’t need anything from the internet to look it up. I’ll take you straight to a nice place for our date," he replied.
When the train finally arrived, they both got on, only to find it was crowded. Their destination was a popular weekend getaway for many people. That’s why the train was more crowded than usual, as many people wanted to go there too.
They walked from car to car looking for empty seats, and finally found a place to sit two cars after they boarded.
During the trip, they sat together enjoying the beautiful view from the window.
"Is that place so good that you kept it a secret from me?"
"Yes, it’s a really nice place. You’ll definitely like it." Arcane nodded his head in response to the question.
He was happy to see how enthusiastic Julian was about the trip. Because he really wanted to see the man he loved enjoy their destination.
Only five minutes into the train ride, Julian noticed a pregnant woman standing in the corner of the carriage. He realized that the woman couldn’t find an empty seat because the train was very crowded at that time.
The woman was carrying a bag with her big belly, holding onto the handrail on the train.
’She’s so pitiful. I feel bad because I get to sit while she has to stand in the middle of this crowd. Especially since she’s pregnant,’ he thought at the time.
Arcane, who had been checking his phone, turned to his lover, who was staring at the pregnant woman. "What’s wrong? Do you want to experience pregnancy too? You remember that you’re a man, right?"
"No, that’s not it!" Julian replied, turning sharply toward him. "I just feel sorry for her. She’s standing there carrying a bag, and her stomach must feel so heavy. Especially on a crowded train, she could easily get pushed around by people."
The man understood how Julian felt at that moment. However, before Arcane could open his mouth, Julian had already gotten up from his seat and approached the pregnant woman.
From where he was sitting, he saw his boyfriend talking to the woman and then taking her hand to help her walk to an empty seat.
"Sit here! You can’t stand for too long, it must feel—"
Before he could finish speaking, a man suddenly sat down in the seat Julian had been sitting in, which he had deliberately wanted to give to the pregnant woman.
"What are you doing? This is my seat, I gave it to this lady! Why are you stealing her seat?" Julian protested.
"First come, first served. Who told you to stand up and leave this seat empty? So I’m going to sit here!" said the man.
This provoked Julian’s emotions, making him really angry. He grabbed the man’s collar, causing a commotion around them.
Arcane, who was seeing Julian this angry for the first time, felt a sense of admiration for some reason because his husband, who had always seemed so cute, could be quite terrifying.
"Can’t you see that this woman is pregnant? She needs this seat more than you do!" Julian said irritably.
"It’s okay, I can stand. Besides, I’ll be getting off in two more stops." The woman tried to stop Julian from doing anything else, but she still couldn’t accept it.
The two stations were still almost 30 to 40 minutes away, which would certainly make her tired.
"See? She doesn’t even mind! Besides, it’s not my fault she’s pregnant right now. It was her choice to have a child. Why should I stand just to give her my seat?" the man asked again.
Julian’s hands were clenched so tightly that his knuckles turned white. He seemed ready to beat the man up for saying that, even though it was clear that it was Julian’s seat.
Especially when he said that it was none of his business if the woman was pregnant.
"How could you say something like that! Don’t you have a heart to say that it’s none of your business that she chose to get pregnant and that it’s her risk to stand? Then what if that was said to your mother or wife?!" Julian replied again.
As the situation became more heated, Arcane, who had previously just been enjoying the spectacle, finally intervened and asked the man to get up.
He didn’t use the same method as Julian, but he simply looked the man and grabbed him tightly. Making him moan in pain because Arcane’s hands were so strong.
"You’d better get up and stand up from that seat because everyone knows you stole it. My husband gave that chair to that woman, not you."
Those two sentences sounded so threatening and terrifying to the man’s ears. Finally, the man stood up and left immediately with a look of anger and fear on his face.
After he left, Arcane became the target of Julian’s scolding. "Why didn’t you do it earlier?"
"You didn’t ask me to." He smiled mischievously and turned to the woman. "Please sit down. My husband was kind enough to give you this chair."
Julian slowly helped her sit down in the chair. She was very grateful to him for giving her the chair despite the commotion.
She smiled after seeing that she could sit and rest. Even though Julian didn’t know her, he still felt sorry for her.
"But now you have to stand because you gave me your chair," said the woman, feeling bad for inconveniencing him.
"No need to feel bad." Arcane suddenly pulled Julian to sit on his lap.
The people in the train were shocked when he did that. Especially Julian, whose face immediately turned red when he was pulled to sit on his lap.
"He got the most comfortable seat."
