Daddy, You Got The Wrong Mommy-Chapter 47: She Dislikes Both of His Identities

Chapter 47

Chapter 47: Chapter 47: She Dislikes Both of His Identities
Hearing Craig Landers’s question, Elara Don instinctively glanced at Damon Hawke beside her.
Damon Hawke shot a cold glance at Craig Landers, his handsome face clearly reading "mind your own business."
Yet his body slightly straightened, as if waiting for an answer.
Did she really feel nothing for him, the CEO of Hawke Group?
Then, what about himself, disguised as Tom?
"I’m not some love-struck fool, why should I have feelings for a thug I’ve barely met?"
Her clear, bright voice rang in his ears, carrying a hint of shyness and annoyance.
Damon Hawke’s aura darkened, and seeing Craig Landers’s gloating face, he wanted nothing more than to throw him into the sea.
Serves him right for meddling!
And this woman, she really is direct!
Does she have no feelings for both his identities?
Then who does she have feelings for?
Could it still be Evan Miles!
"Uh, isn’t the dock coming up? I’m going to check on the deck."
Feeling the icy aura of the man beside her, Elara Don quickly stood up and walked outside.
"Haha! Tom, didn’t expect to see the day a woman would actually dislike you?"
Craig Landers laughed heartily, and seeing Damon Hawke’s increasingly chilling face, he quickly added, "But, you have to listen to women’s words in reverse. In my many years of experience with women, she might feel nothing for you as the CEO, but she has feelings for her savior. Didn’t you see how uneasy she looked when she left just now? It’s the attitude of someone embarrassed to admit it."
Is that so?
Craig Landers is a master with the ladies, very knowledgeable about women.
So, Elara Don has feelings for him, the thug?
Damon Hawke’s mood improved somewhat, and he gave Craig Landers a glance, standing up to say, "Have you seen enough of the drama? Clean up the yacht before you leave."
"Hey, come on! I’m not a cleaner, Tom, this is outright revenge!"
"Yes, indeed it is!"
"You!
This old man, must be suffering from hormonal imbalance from years of not touching a woman!
On the deck, Elara Don wrapped in a blanket, gazed at the pitch-dark night sky, letting the sea breeze mess up her long hair.
Coming out from the cabin, Damon Hawke looked at that slender figure, his eyes softening.
Just as he was about to step forward, his phone rang in his pocket.
He paused his steps, took out his phone, and glanced at it.
It was a call from his son.
The little guy is still not asleep!
Must be very anxious!
Damon Hawke moved to a corner to answer the call.
"Still not asleep?"
"Dad, did you find Aunt Charlotte?"
The little one’s voice was urgent and tense, and Damon Hawke glanced at the woman in the wind and curled his lips, "Yes, she’s fine. I’m bringing her home now. Go to sleep."
"Really? Dad is awesome! Good night."
Receiving unexpected praise from his son, Damon Hawke raised his eyebrows, the corners of his mouth curling even more.
The little guy is usually reserved, this straightforward compliment was the first he’d ever heard!
He owes someone for this!
Damon Hawke, with a smiling face, looked again towards the deck.
At this moment, Elara Don just happened to turn her head, meeting Damon Hawke’s deep gaze, her heart skipped, she quickly lowered her eyes, and walked back into the cabin.
"The boat has docked, I’m heading back."
Is the woman blushing?
Damon Hawke, in a very good mood, followed inside at a leisurely pace, hands in pockets.
Blue Sky Apartments.
Harry Soo received a call from Dominic Hawke, learning that Elara Don was safe, and couldn’t help but breathe a sigh of relief.
He fought his sleepiness and finally heard the sound of the door opening.
"Mommy."
Elara Don had just opened the door when Harry Soo ran up to hug her.
She knelt down with a smile, "Why aren’t you asleep yet?"
"Mommy, are you okay? What’s with the clothes..."
Harry Soo stared at the white shirt Elara Don was wearing, blinking his eyes.
"I’m fine, my clothes got wet, so I borrowed someone else’s."
Elara Don tried to brush off her son’s worry with a casual remark.
"Mommy, did you fall into the sea? Was it your boss who found you?"
Harry Soo nestled in Elara Don’s arms, "Ugh, it scared me to death, Mommy, how did you end up by the sea and fall into it for no reason?"
Luckily, he had placed a bug with a tracking system in Mommy’s bag, or he wouldn’t have known what happened!
"Hmm? Bea, why do you say it was my boss who found me?"
Elara Don picked up her son, her face full of doubt.
That her son knew her whereabouts instantly didn’t surprise her.
But why did he say it was Damon Hawke who found her?
Clearly, another man saved her!
"Because I saw on your tracking system that there was danger, in panic I called your boss and asked him to save you. After all, last time when you were in trouble at work, it was also your boss who found you first."
Harry Soo’s big eyes sparkled, not mentioning Dominic Hawke.
Instinctively, he didn’t want Mommy to pay more attention to Dominic Hawke.
Hearing her son’s words, Elara Don’s expression was inexplicable.
She opened the door to the nursery, put her son who was rubbing his eyes into bed, and gently said, "Bea, you were amazing, if it weren’t for you, I might have drunk a few more gulps of seawater. Alright, go to sleep now, Mommy’s fine."
"Oh, and Mommy should sleep early too, goodnight."
Harry Soo, now relaxed, couldn’t resist the sleepiness overwhelming him.
His big eyes closed, and he was soon asleep.
Elara Don lovingly tucked in the little guy, lost in thought.
Flashes of two completely different faces passed through her mind.
Her son said he notified Damon Hawke, but why was it Tom who saved her?
What is the relationship between the two of them?
Strangely, they feel very similar.
If it weren’t for the completely different faces, she might almost think they could be the same person!
Fairlight Manor.
Ivy stood outside the gates, glaring at the butler inside.
"Open the door, why won’t you let me in?"
After settling things with Elara Don, she had come to the manor to try to appease Dominic Hawke.
But the butler refused to let her in!
"Miss Thorne, please leave, the young master ordered that you aren’t allowed in the manor anymore."
The butler replied rudely.
"How dare you treat me this way? Don’t forget, I’m Charlie’s biological mother and will be future mistress of the manor! Open this door for me now!"
Ivy screeched, her face full of rage.
The butler ignored her, standing inside calmly.
Ivy ranted for a long time, collecting several mosquito bites on her hands and legs.
"You old fool, will you open the door or not? Do you really think I’ve lost my influence? No matter what, I’m still Charlie’s biological mother. Even if Damon is angry and ignoring me right now, he will marry me eventually! Do you believe me? Once I marry into the Hawke Family, I’ll fire you first!
Her words were full of arrogance.
The butler was about to respond when he saw a car approaching in the distance.
The young master is back!
The butler’s spirits lifted, and he hurried to open the gate.
Ivy also noticed Damon Hawke’s car, quickly toned down her arrogance, and put on a pitiable act as she approached.
