Daddy, You Got The Wrong Mommy-Chapter 81: You’ve Fallen for Elara Don

Chapter 81

Chapter 81: Chapter 81: You’ve Fallen for Elara Don
"Brother, I would never be a master at picking up girls; I only like Aunt Charlotte."
Bea leaned into Elara Don’s embrace, watching Cole Hawke with some caution.
This is the big brother who came to Grandpa Hawke’s house yesterday!
He’s actually dining with Mommy!
Is he another suitor for Mommy?
Well, Mommy’s charm is too great; Uncle Hawke must be feeling the pressure!
"Haha, yes, yes, I was narrow-minded."
Cole Hawke chuckled lightly, his eyes twinkling.
Dominic Hawke used to be a reserved person; how could he possibly say something so flattering?
He’s Bea!
"Mr. Hawke, young master, please make do with these."
Rhun Quinn brought over two portions of food and placed them on the table.
Elara Don didn’t really want to eat at the same table as Damon Hawke, besides she had finished eating, so she said, "Charlie, you eat first; Aunt Charlotte has finished eating, so I’ll go to the bathroom first."
"Aunt Charlotte, I want to go too."
Seeing Elara Don leaving, Bea quickly grabbed her hand.
Elara Don stared at the little guy’s lifted dark eyes with a complex look flashing in her eyes.
She genuinely liked the little guy.
The little guy genuinely liked her too.
But she was destined to disappoint him.
She and Damon Hawke could only remain in a superior-subordinate relationship.
"Aunt Charlotte, let’s go."
Bea shook Elara Don’s hand and, with a cheerful smile, pulled her towards the bathroom.
Watching the big and small figures leave, Cole Hawke glanced at the man beside him, a gleam flashing in his eyes.
Elara Don’s words to him echoed in his mind, leaving him perplexed.
His little uncle is meticulous; does he really not know that Elara Don is the child’s biological mother? Or that she gave birth to twins for him?
From his current appearance, he probably doesn’t know.
Otherwise, how could he allow another child to wander outside?
But how to explain the thug that Elara Don saw?
Could it be Elara Don got the wrong person?
"Next time, don’t stay too close to her without reason."
A low voice suddenly reached his ears.
Cole Hawke snapped back to reality, realizing Damon Hawke was warning him just now.
Instantly, a slight curve formed on his lips.
"Little Uncle, I’m not that young anymore; my parents have been urging me to get married!"
Is this him noticing my interest in Elara Don?
"So, you mean to say, you’ve taken a fancy to Elara Don?"
Damon Hawke raised an eyebrow, a hint of pressure in his nonchalant tone.
"I do have good feelings for her."
Cole Hawke did not deny it.
Then, as Damon Hawke’s dark eyes swept over him, he smiled and said, "But I know you also have good feelings for her. I probably can’t compete with you, so I won’t."
No need to tear things apart.
After all, both are named Hawke; the road ahead is long!
"Good awareness; go on a business trip to City A for me tomorrow."
Damon Hawke’s lips curved as he elegantly began dining.
Cole Hawke: "..."
Is this indirectly making him stay away from Elara Don?
Speechless!
"You keep eating slowly; I’ll go check on Charlie."
The little guy is impersonating, and he is curious how the twins swapped identities.
Bathroom.
Bea stopped in his tracks when he saw Elara Don walking with her head down, looking somewhat unhappy.
"Aunt Charlotte, what’s wrong? Not happy to see Charlie?"
What’s wrong with Mommy?
She looks so worried!
Because of what reason?
Looking at the little guy’s bright eyes, Elara Don sighed inwardly.
"No, Auntie’s never unhappy seeing Charlie; just feeling a bit sorry for you getting hurt."
If only the little guy were her own son, how wonderful that would be!
"It’s not your fault, don’t be sad!"
Bea couldn’t stand his mommy being unhappy; he took a bottle out of his pocket and said with a smile, "Listen, the bugs are talking! They say ’Miss, you are the most beautiful and gentle lady in the world! Your smile is the most charming...’"
The little guy turned the bottle, his childish voice coaxing Elara Don to cheer up.
Elara Don stared at him, her mind recalling the sight of her own son teasing her.
It’s so strange today, why does she keep feeling like the little guy in front of her is her own son?
What does Charlie actually look like?
Elara Don’s eyes flickered as she reached out to remove the little guy’s mask.
"Elly, Charlie, are you done yet?"
Cole Hawke stepped forward to them, subtly pulling the little guy away.
"Ah, not yet."
Interrupted, Elara Don retracted her hand and smiled, "You’re here just in time, take Charlie into the bathroom for me."
"Alright."
Cole Hawke smiled, watching Elara Don enter the ladies’ room, then looked down at the little one beside him.
At the moment, Bea was staring at him, his lively eyes bright like black grapes.
"Why are you looking at me like that? Don’t you recognize me?"
Cole Hawke ruffled the little guy’s head as he led him into the men’s bathroom.
"Brother, do you also like my... Aunt Charlotte?"
Bea coolly asked.
"Oh, you can tell?"
Cole Hawke raised an eyebrow, "I’ve actually had a crush on her for a long time, but unfortunately, only found her now."
If this were Elara Don’s son, it would be necessary to gain some favor from him!
"Brother, don’t waste your efforts; Aunt Charlotte would never like you. She likes my dad."
Bea pulled down his pants, intentionally pouring cold water.
"Really? But Elly says otherwise."
Cole Hawke gave him a glance, intentionally saying, "Moreover, your dad’s marriage is linked to the company’s interests; it’s not about whom he wants to marry. Unlike me; I have the freedom. As long as the woman I like also likes me, I would marry her and treat her as a princess for life. Including her son, I would treat him like my own."
If he were Elara Don’s biological son, hearing him say this would surely make him happy.
Cole Hawke’s words indeed brought comfort to Bea.
He tilted his head to study Cole Hawke, finding his appearance indeed outstanding.
However, perhaps due to his preconceived notions, he still found Uncle Hawke better.
This brother is handsome and speaks nicely, but gives him an unsettling feeling!
Almost as if his words were intentionally said for him to hear.
Very purposeful.
"Looking at me again?"
Cole Hawke chuckled as he adjusted the little guy’s clothes.
"Charlie, do you really like insects? Someday, I’ll have someone find a few insects from the wild overseas for you."
Is the little one so captivated by his earlier words?
"Brother, you look even more beautiful than girls; hasn’t anyone said you look like a magnificent white lotus?"
Bea stated matter-of-factly, then lifted his chin proudly and walked out.
Yes, he admitted being somewhat bought over earlier!
But, deep down, he still stood by Uncle Hawke!
Cole Hawke slowly straightened up, belatedly realizing the little guy’s words were implying he was pretentious.
Like a white lotus!
This brat!
Why doesn’t his reaction align with my expectations!
