Chapter 760

Chapter 760: Chapter 427: The Goddess Becomes Pregnant—A Divine Cuckold? (Part 2)
He could pass the throne to an outstanding descendant in the family who inherits the Titan Bloodline, but what he hoped was that when the moment arrived, it would be because, as a Monarch, he chose to return power to the family’s bloodline orthodoxy, rather than being forced to relinquish the throne due to a lack of talented offspring.
He wanted to hand over the Royal Authority to his successor with utmost dignity, just as his grandfather and father did, rather than being forced to surrender power in a situation with no choice.
"But what did you do that caused the Goddess to descend as a Saint?"
Noah inquired with great interest, as he was very curious about this.
He also wanted to know what exactly happened. Although he knew most of the information, some were too private for him to know. He wasn’t a voyeur, and his intelligence system hadn’t been developed to such a degree.
"I didn’t really do anything; I just learned to master some musical instruments according to her requirements."
At this point, Alexander’s expression showed a hint of embarrassment.
Since birth, he had fought battles and then commanded troops at the frontiers, conquering cities and lands, rising to the throne through military achievements, and consolidating Royal Authority with iron and blood as a Monarch. Yet now, in order to please the Goddess, he lowered himself to learn how to play those instruments which he viewed as delicate, fragile, and useless.
"You actually learned? I couldn’t see it!"
Seeing Alexander’s somewhat embarrassed face, Noah chuckled lightly.
"No choice, that’s what she demanded, I couldn’t just give up halfway!"
Alexander replied helplessly.
"There’s nothing to be embarrassed about. Not to mention you’ve successfully caused the Goddess to descend. Even if you hadn’t succeeded, the fact you managed to set aside meaningless pride proves your sincerity."
Noah didn’t think it was something to ridicule. To please the Goddess specifically by learning musical instruments, to flatter the other, though it seemed like bootlicking, he succeeded in doing so with dignity. Hence, it was more like a fierce dragon, not just a docile wolf!
"And Lidisha?"
Seeing Noah truly didn’t care and hadn’t gotten angry because of this, Alexander remained cautious and inquired carefully.
"As long as she doesn’t leave Uther, I won’t interfere with anything she does."
Noah drew the line, although descending without notice was somewhat impolite. But she came, moreover under the pretense of his descendants and Favored to give birth, so it wouldn’t be courteous to chase her away now.
That would be very disrespectful!
"Thank you, Uncle Ancestor!"
Hearing Noah’s words, Alexander finally relaxed his tense string and let out a sigh of relief.
He was really worried that Uncle Ancestor might take some actions due to the Goddess’s descent, and if that happened, he would really have to wield the sword against the Goddess.
"Is there anything else? If not, you may go. You probably don’t want to waste your time here either!"
Noah waved his Dragon Claw impatiently.
With no more worries, Alexander left Noah with joy all over his face, vanishing from Noah’s sight in an instant.
Not long after, his presence disappeared from Noah’s senses, as he had stepped onto the Transmission Array, returning to Uther City to seek his Goddess.
"With such an unusual occurrence, it must be something mischievous. What are you up to, God of Arts and Music?"
Noah simply couldn’t believe that a Goddess would specifically come down to have a child for a mortal Monarch, even risking falling.
Alexander was decent, but his charm hadn’t reached such levels.
Although he had doubts about this, Noah was not prepared to confront the Goddess now. After all, she had already acted in ways that suggested she had figured out a prepared explanation for him.
Let’s just observe; in this Material Realm, even if it’s a Divine Saint’s incarnation, Noah didn’t think anything could stir waves before him, unless the other party wanted to experience the taste of falling.
"Pregnant!"
In just the first month of the Goddess’s descent, astonishing news came from Uther City that the descended Goddess had successfully conceived, bearing the offspring of the Atlas Kingdom’s third-generation Monarch.
"So fast!"
Such rapid pregnancy speed couldn’t help but astonish Noah. What surprised Noah even more was that merely nine months later, this Goddess was entering the state of preparing for childbirth.
"Tsk!"
This time, upon receiving the news, Noah refrained from making any comments. Although the pregnancy duration seemed problem-free, consistent with mortals, that was precisely the problem.
Relative to the Divine, Alexander was merely a mortal Monarch. Yet, in reality, he was a top-tier existence in the secular world; each of his children required at least over a year gestation period, slightly stronger ones even needing two years.
Yet together with a Goddess, just like an ordinary mortal, from conception to childbirth took less than ten months, only nine months for a smooth birth.
"Whose child is this?"
Such absurd pregnancy and delivery speed even led Noah to doubt if this was truly Alexander’s child, or perhaps it belonged to some Main God, who then urgently descended to find Alexander as a stand-in.
However, such thoughts lingered in Noah’s mind for only a moment before they were dispelled. A dignified God wouldn’t stoop to such disgraceful acts, and Alexander wasn’t foolish.
Even in a union with a God, the ancestral bloodline Noah passed on wouldn’t be suppressed by the Divine; it must show in the child somehow. If there was no Dragon Species trait, it would basically explain everything.
"Time to take a look!"
During the Goddess’s descent, Noah didn’t plan to act, but with his Favored and their offspring born, no matter what, Noah had to go and take a look.
Instead of sending an incarnation, Noah planned to go personally. This had to be a True God; if she was intent on fooling him, the means were numerous beyond imagination.
As the Capital City of the Atlas Kingdom, Uther City, along with the Augustus family’s prosperity, became more thriving, with an increasingly vast scale.
Having been bathed in three hundred years of time, it possessed the vicissitudes and aura tempered by the years, with a kind of majestic momentum not found in most cities. Viewed from afar, it seemed like an Ancient Giant Beast lying on the earth, intimidating.
Not entering the city, thus Noah didn’t inform anyone, nor did he notify Alexander. Instead, he descended on the mountain in the city’s outskirts in the most low-profile manner, gazing at the renowned Grandia Palace of the Augustus family.
From over a hundred miles away, Noah saw the Grandia Palace, the newborn little one with a head full of dazzling blonde hair and a Dragon Horn on his forehead, proving his lineage.
However, those eyes resembling emerald gemstones, crystal-clear, also showcased the bloodline inherited from the Divine.
This genuine divine offspring was indeed born very low-key; on the day of his birth, the skies and earth remained unchanged, without any phenomena indicating his arrival.
However, Noah clearly saw that the reason why this boy’s birth was uneventful was primarily because his maternal body was exceptionally strong.
Those children with extraordinary talents couldn’t receive adequate supplies of nourishment in their mother’s womb, so, after birth, they demand it from heaven and earth.
But a child nurtured personally by a God evidently required no such thing.
"Eh?"
While observing the Grandia Palace from a distance, Noah noticed an anomaly—a girl with peculiar eyes wandering around the palace perimeter, her basic Spell covering failing to deceive Noah, as he caught a glimpse of eyes seemingly containing sun and moon.
Of course, more importantly was the genetic connection, she was also his Favored.
The eighth generation of Augusto, Astraea.
"Come here!"
Upon spotting this little one, Noah naturally wouldn’t let her go. He stretched out his Dragon Claw with a gentle scoop, causing the girl, still spying on the Royal Family palace, to stumble and fall before him.
