Golden Dragon: Six Thousand Years of Empire-Chapter 804 449: The Black King's Gift: Path to Ascension_2

Chapter 804

"Naturally, it's for you. You were the mistake I made back then. I failed to kill you completely and instead left you an opportunity to resurrect. My resurrection is to correct the error of not erasing you completely."
Upon hearing such abominable words, Odin, normally stern and humorless in front of Noah, couldn't help but burst into laughter, teasing him.
"Odin, you damn one-eyed god, foolish enough to be amusing, you only managed to kill my body by leveraging Ragnarok. When I resurrect again, what do you have left? What will you rely on to kill me?"
The voice brimming with fury echoed within the God Burial Abyss, from an immortal being who had fallen, roaring with rage.
Noah could feel the overwhelming rage contained within, and the hatred and resentment as deep as the abyss and as vast as the sea.
But it's understandable; an existence so mighty that most Divine beings would have to look up to it, unburdened by the Divine duties, how carefree and reckless can it be.
Yet it was pierced and nailed to the earth by a Divine King in a vast war, deprived of all life force.
After struggling to rise, poised for resurrection, it turned around only to see the enemy's figure again, declaring intent to kill it once more.
How could it not hate? How could it not rage? How could it possibly remain calm?
"I've killed you once; isn't it difficult to kill you again?"
Confronted with the furious will of the Black King, Odin remained quite indifferent, proud, and a mere sentence made the Black King's already blazing anger even more intense.
Buzz—
The Black Abyss Spear clutched by Noah trembled, with rich, near-black bloodlust bursting forth from the spear blade, extending over a kilometer instantaneously, penetrating mountains and earth momentarily. Noah, with a slight wave, sliced through the peaks below Abyss Valley in half.
"Boy, kill him, and whatever you want, I'll give it to you!"
When Noah tightly gripped the Black Abyss Dragon Spear to prevent its tumult, Odin glared bitterly, yet saddeningly found he couldn't cause it any harm, as the black dragon head turned toward Noah.
"I can't kill him; as you see, whether a split soul or the main body, he is stronger than me, my foundational accumulation lacks."
Noah confessed sincerely,
"So, I can't agree to your request."
"I'll help you, of the Godslaying Armaments you hold, I forged seventeen pieces; each can rend a Divine's body. Just grasp it, swing it at this damned fellow..."
"But what could I gain from it? Lord Odin and I have already formed an alliance; we are allies now. You want me to betray my ally with no benefit given; that hardly makes sense."
Noah bluntly interrupted the Dragon King's seductive offer, directly questioning. The Dragon Clan's principles are inviolable.
Even according to his life principles, he would not betray an ally in such circumstances, let alone face-to-face betrayal, merely a jest and tease; Odin knew this too, with arms folded, watching the scene with interest.
"What do you want?"
"How to rise to become a Dragon King?"
Noah unabashedly queried straightaway.
"Rise to become a Dragon King? Is that your pursuit? Hahaha, I'll teach you; this is my path of ascent!"
The black aura carrying the Black King's will suddenly scattered, transforming into an arrow, shooting towards Noah. Despite precautions, all the pre-set defense magic failed.
As it's not an attack nor did it harm Noah in any way, any defense set would not be triggered.
Boom!
Hit by this black aura in the forehead, Noah appeared as if struck by a Divine Spear capable of piercing the Divine's flesh, instantly frozen, stupefied, like a statue, unable to respond for a long time.
"What did you do to him?"
Odin stepped forward, between glinting Thunder, exuding a thread of a Divine King's majesty. Though weak now, not having reclaimed former strength, the once sky-high Divine Power wasn't entirely lost.
"You're too nervous, hanging god. You think with my current state, I could do anything to him? It's merely an elder guiding the younger; I've shown him the path I've walked, I'm so generous, so magnanimous!"
The Black Abyss Spear Noah held trembled, freeing from Noah's Dragon Claw binding, floating in the air, black aura rolling on it forming a vicious and malevolent black dragon head, yet amidst the ferociousness was an ineffable arrogance.
"Your path once trodden?"
Though a Divine achieved through faith, regarding another path of immortality, Odin isn't entirely ignorant. Witnessing this Black King's triumphant expression, he could easily surmise.
But he wouldn't allow this old friend such triumph,
"Even if you unveil everything, what makes you think he'll learn and imitate?"
"Why not? It's a Dragon King; a god like you wouldn't understand!"
"Haha, you wouldn't think all Dragon Kings of the world are like you?"
"Watch your nerves, are you afraid? Haha."
The Black King's will was immensely joyous,
"Witnessing a generation tread the same path as mine truly brings a sense of achievement!"
"He's different from you! Even if you reveal your path, he'll take a route divergent from yours."
"Why are you so sure?"
"Because he is a Golden Dragon, a child of Bahamut!"
"Bahamut? Ha, even if he's calculative, his dragonlings aren't immune to temptation and fall."
"Noah will never fall."
Odin declared decisively.
"Such a self-righteous hanging god!"
The Black Dragon scoffed dismissively.
Meanwhile, Noah gradually recovered; sharing memory with the main body, receiving the Black King's path of ascent, both processed this vast information together, being of one entity.
Upon receiving all this information, Noah understood why the Black King was so generous without using it as leverage for seduction, instead gifting it directly, as there's no need; this path of ascent harbors malevolent intent.
The Black King's path of ascent is indeed a path of annihilation.
Noah already knew, to rise to a Dragon King, one's only option is to devour the world. But how to devour, Noah didn't know, with Material Realm's rules restricting even True Gods, not to mention a dragon yearning to rise to Dragon King, how to devour? Impossible, yet now, the Black King provides an answer.
Just destroy the world, obliterating the prosperity within the Material Realm at lightning speed, from towering Storm Giants in the Sky Dome to Dragon Claw Beasts moving in the dark corners underground, regardless of intelligence or not, any life must be utterly annihilated.
When all beings within the world are slaughtered to extinction, it's time for the world will to collapse, rules to become unprecedentedly fragile, then the world can be devoured.
Undoubtedly, this is an arduous path, as before rising to a Dragon King, one must slaughter a realm, a formidable challenge indeed, hence the Black King kindly suggests, prioritizing the Mother Realm.
Mother Realm embraces life most extensively, hence even when unleashing apocalypse initially, launching mass murder, its restrictive measures are quite limited, when the world will senses something amiss and begins counter-intervention, it's all too late.
The Black King ascended to Dragon King this way, stirring catastrophe within the world he nurtured, destroying every place nurturing life, slaughtering billions, also killing all other Giant Dragon Guardians and related offspring branches except himself.
Finally, he perched atop the mountain of corpses and Blood Sea, stepping on billions of beings' carcasses, in Mother Realm's wails, devoured the world's origin, completing the ultimate transformation, attaining immortality, becoming Dragon King.
Thus is the Black King's path of world annihilation.
The Black King revealed all he'd done, from initiating catastrophe up to ultimately slaughtering the world, obliterating Mother Realm's will, completing ascent, displaying everything to Noah.
Such enormous information and the unfathomable sights witnessed during the process left Noah dazed, for it was his first encounter with such an Evil Dragon.
