Golden Dragon: Six Thousand Years of Empire-Chapter 955 525: Holy Dragon's Benevolence, Blood Abyss Cyan Dragon Tree

Chapter 955

"Great-uncle, what exactly do you intend to do?"
The elf demigod who brought the Tree of Life sapling stood at the edge of the Abyss Blood Pool, still maintaining the appearance of a young girl. Her body eternally in its prime, Pavarotti looked at the lush Tree of Life before her, its branches and leaves stretching out, continuously growing, with a face full of shock.
The Tree of Life in front of her wasn't very tall; its thickest part required at most five people to encircle, with its highest point barely just over ten meters. Compared to a fully grown ancient Tree of Life, this tree was not much different from a sapling.
Even though this sapling was just a potted green plant that could fit in one's hand a moment ago, simply inducing growth wasn't enough to shock an elf demigod.
What truly astounded Pavarotti was that her great-uncle had planted this Tree of Life in a completely incompatible environment, the Abyss Blood Pool, and endowed it with extraordinary characteristics it shouldn't have possessed, gradually adapting it to the Abyss environment, even altering its essence to a certain extent.
The Tree of Life is not particularly demanding about its growing environment; it's a Spirit Wood that can assist in continuing the legacy of a species to some extent, not that fragile.
However, it is best to choose a place abundant with vigor, or it would limit the Tree of Life, slow its growth, and hinder its potential efficacy.
Even if choosing a place full of vitality, one should not choose a Blood Pool. Although a Blood Pool can continuously spawn tens of thousands of worms every day and has a vitality unmatched by the Spiritual Forests of the Mortal World.
But besides creating tens of thousands of Demon Worms, the Blood Pool also harbors corruption and filth that incite demonic chaos and evil nature.
The Tree of Life can purify some of it, but for a sapling to purify an entire Blood Pool is clearly beyond its capability.
Without any external intervention, a Tree of Life sapling in the Abyss Blood Pool is bound to wither or become corrupted into a Demon Tree.
No one expected that with the support of the Dragon King, the Life Tree rooted in the Blood Pool, unharmed by the Abyss's distortion and corrosion, would choose assimilation, or was forced onto the path of blending in with its environment.
Veins emitting a bloody glow spread across the Tree of Life's trunk, and as it continuously absorbed nutrients from the Blood Pool, even its increasingly lush green leaves began to show bloodstains.
Primarily an avatar of the Natural Domain, embodying tranquility, harmony, and inclusiveness, the Tree of Life now exuded a slightly ominous blood-red aura.
Yet the ominousness from the Abyss did not overpower the Tree of Life's natural essence. The tranquility and harmony, incompatible with the Abyss, ultimately merged with the blood-red, spirituality and demonic presence coexisting, dangerous yet alluring.
The Tree of Life, mutated to such an extent, did not stop changing. Under Parvati's gaze, a blood-red dragon's shadow emerged from the tree's crown, followed by azure-green dragon scales gradually appearing, forming a complete dragon shape.
Seeing a dragon being nurtured and born from the abyssal Tree of Life's crown astounded Parvati, the demigod, to her core. She never expected such a transformation to occur.
"Just planting a tree."
Watching his shocked grand-niece, Noah replied nonchalantly.
But it was just nonchalance on the surface. Using the Elf Clan's Life Tree as a base and combining it with the Abyss Blood Pool, Noah ultimately nurtured a Red-eyed Green Dragon possessing various extraordinary characteristics from both sources.
The endeavor indeed exhausted a great deal of Noah's effort, not to even mention the enormous amount of Power of Faith consumed — but that was just the basic expense.
This resulted in the Blood Abyss Green Tree before them and the eventual birth of the Red-eyed Green Dragon.
"Are you creating a Dragon Clan?"
The Dragon Realm is not a place isolated from the world, and the Elf Court, overseen by Parvati, has never disconnected from the external world.
The birth of the Black Devouring Dragon and the appearance of the White Brilliance Dragon were also known to this elf demigod. She could easily infer that these dragon species were likely the handiwork of her great-uncle.
But she couldn't imagine that the request to bring a Tree of Life sapling was also aimed at creating a new dragon species.
"What do you think?"
Even though it's just a strand of his true form, the presence of the Golden Dragon made the demigod feel uncomfortable and constrained, as he bowed his head, observing the Life Tree rooted in the Blood Pool, its branches extending, the Green Dragon swirling within.
This was a snake-like Green Dragon less than twenty meters long. Someone without sufficient experience might associate this dragon with a Green Dragon upon encountering it suddenly.
But he was utterly different from a Green Dragon, primarily in appearance and demeanor. As a tree-dwelling dragon, the Red-eyed Green Dragon did not have wings. Still, it didn't affect its majesty, as this dragon still possessed the ability to fly.
Moreover, its aura was distinct. Ignoring its blood-red gemstone-like dragon eyes, it also exuded a tranquility and peace characteristic of nature, inviting closeness. However, upon meeting its eyes, one would feel an overwhelming sense of bloodiness and malice.
This was a dragon content with its domain, yet also somewhat acquainted with battle when necessary. Slaughter and destruction were ingrained in its bones, but it could freely choose whether to release them.
