"Is this still a dragon?"
Parvati, witnessing the birth of the Red-eyed Green Dragon, couldn't help but question.
She could see that the dragon's initial skeleton was constructed from endless blood light, and then its flesh, scales, and horns were composed of the spirituality emitted from the Life Tree. In other words, this was a spirit in dragon form, not a True Dragon with flesh and blood.
This was Parvati's judgment. From her understanding, the creature before her was not a true member of the Dragon Clan but a very special Plant Elf, essentially no different from a Flower Demon.
"How is it not a dragon? Come on, tell me, what part looks unlike a dragon, or do you think it's just missing a pair of wings, so it shouldn't be called a dragon?"
Noah felt displeased with Parvati's question, as he considered this young niece, now a demigod, still so narrow-minded in vision and understanding.
"This is indeed a member of the Dragon Clan, as good as any Dragon Species. But what is your purpose in creating this kind of Dragon Clan?"
"To purify the Abyss!"
Noah answered lightly, as if responding to a most mundane question, yet the content left Parvati's mind in a daze, uncertain on how to proceed.
"Purify the Abyss? Such a task..."
"You think it's impossible to accomplish, don't you?"
Noah slightly turned his dragon head, gazing into his granddaughter's beautiful silver eyes.
"Your idea is indeed too bold."
Parvati replied tactfully.
"So you think it's impossible. Actually, I also think it's impossible, but I believe some things, if not tried, will always remain impossible. But if you try, perhaps there might be some unexpected surprises."
Noah's gaze shifted again to the Life Tree in front of the blood pool, where the Azure Dragon spiraled in the tree's canopy, lifting its head to look up at him with reverence and humble admiration, eyes full of devotion.
"Look, by planting this tree, this blood pool has been purified. No more Demon Worms will be born from it."
"Can this really be considered purification?"
Seeing the huge tree standing in the blood pool, its trunk and leaves covered with blood-light veins, Parvati couldn't help but internally grumble.
No matter how much of a rebel she was as a demigod of the Elf Clan, seeing a Life Tree fall to such a state still brought some regret.
A fully grown Life Tree could at least protect and sustain the heritage of an Elf Tribe numbering in the thousands.
"This tree will become an Ancestor Tree, perpetually producing tree seeds. These seeds will all be cast into the blood pool, nurturing more Red-eyed Green Dragons."
Seeing his silent niece, Noah immediately comforted her after discerning her hidden concerns.
"Do you really intend to purify the Abyss?"
Seeing this grandaunt pushing forward methodically and not just on a whim, Parvati couldn't help but be a bit stunned.
"That goal is grand but not realistic. Settle for less: purifying the part of the Abyss I already control, at least altering its environment to provide better resting places for my warriors. What do you think?"
"The tree seeds produced by this Ancestor Tree will become treasures comparable to divine artifacts."
Such was the response of a demigod. Once Parvati recovered from the successive shocks and astonishment, she immediately assessed the value of the tree before her.
Though it seemed to be another strategy of her grandaunt to facilitate his army's conquest of the Abyss, for worlds suffering from Abyssal invasions, such tree seeds could undoubtedly help improve their defenses against Demon attacks or restore the devastated ecology following Demon ravages.
"You're exaggerating."
This artifact isn't a true divine artifact; even in the Mortal World, legendary weapons with divinity or mystery can be referred to as divine artifacts, though their worth is indisputable, and even Noah currently wouldn't refuse to collect them.
"After this Ancestor Tree bears seeds, may I take one with me?"
"It's yours. However, if you wish it to grow smoothly, you'll need demon blood and flesh to nourish it. Not just one or two demons will suffice."
"I think I can manage."
Parvati pondered for a moment. Although in the Dragon Realm, the stable and unshakeable Golden Order led to the extinction of Demons with only a few Hellish Devils managing to survive, as a demigod, she could, if necessary, summon Demons from the Abyss to kill. It was troublesome, but not overly so.
As Demigod Parvati traded a Life Tree seedling for a second-generation tree seed borne of the Blood Abyss Blue Dragon Ancestor Tree, she had yet not fully realized the tree seed's worth in her hands, even though her appraisal had already been quite high.
Even with the infusion of the Power of Faith, the original version of the Life Tree ranked incredibly high, though it didn't surpass divine spirits or immortality. Therefore, on the first day of planting the Life Tree, Noah harvested a batch of tree seeds.
On the second day, more seeds were thrown into the blood pool. Thanks to the first generation being well-trained by the Dragon King himself, even the second generation Blood Abyss Blue Dragon Tree grew well without the infusion of the Power of Faith.
"Noah is truly a merciful and kind Dragon King!"
Overlooking the blood pool, as roots pierced through one Demon Worm from the Abyss after another, the Six-winged Great Angel couldn't help but sigh as he watched the demon larvae, shriveling under the tree's roots' absorption, leaving not even skin behind.
Because after the Golden Forbidden Army discarded the tree seeds into the blood pool, he sensed a somewhat twisted, grotesque, yet truly existing Natural Domain gradually opening. In the Lower Plane, hard-to-find vitality was quietly spreading.
After the Black Devouring Dragon and White Brilliance Dragon, Noah created a brand new Dragon Species. Whether or not this truly counts as a dragon remains to be debated.
But indisputably, these Dragon King creations will thoroughly change the Abyss's ecology, or at least, the blood pool before him no longer provides conditions to hatch Demon Worms.
The life force, which otherwise would have incubated tens of thousands of Abyss Worms, was wholly intercepted by the Blood Abyss Cyan Dragon Tree, quietly growing in the blood pool. The Demon Worms couldn't even sip from the broth and succumbed as mere nutrients.
"The King's mercy is indisputable."
The Golden Forbidden Army warned with a cautionary glance at the admiring Great Angel Commander.
The leakage of the Black Devouring Dragon had been considered negligence within the army, a shame for the Forbidden Army. Although the propagation method of the Black Devouring Dragon made preventing leakage difficult, this wasn't a reason to shirk accountability.
The Commanders of the Forbidden Army collectively pleaded guilty to the King. Yet, the King showed leniency, choosing not to punish anyone; instead, he entrusted them with another batch of tree seeds, allowing them to care for the species and gather more seeds for further spreading and promoting within the Abyss.
This time, no matter what, the seeds must not leak; at least not until the King issues a clear order. The Forbidden Army shall not permit any Blood Abyss Blue Dragon Trees to appear outside the Abyss.
"If those planes suffering from Abyssal damage could just receive these seeds."
Seeing the warrior Dragon-men of the battle group continuously pushing heaps of Demon corpses into the blood pool, the Great Angel couldn't help but comment again.
For the tree's wild growth within the blood pool also exhibited demonic qualities, cohesive with the Abyss, akin to the Black Devouring Dragon — namely, accelerating growth through devouring flesh and blood.
"Do you really believe it's a good idea to let these trees appear in the Material World?"
The Forbidden Army's tone carried slight precision. Accompanied by large amounts of Demon carcasses turning to bone residue, thin and winding dragon shadows emerged, letting out a roar before diving into the blood pool, gorging with a bloodthirsty and greedy nature surpassing even the Demons.
