Chapter 151: Chapter 150: How Dare You Tell Me to Get Out—On What Grounds!
Mrs. Zimmerman hesitated for a moment, her lips curled in a mocking smile, "Miss Sullivan, since you know someone has my back, you should pack your things and leave, lest the Young Master returns and personally deals with you."
Serena Sullivan watched Mrs. Zimmerman calmly, her eyes carrying a hint of amusement.
"Yes, Miss Sullivan, you’re not quite mobile."
Mrs. Zimmerman continued her taunting, thinking how someone like her wanted to be the lady of the Grant Family.
"Looks like it’s not Mr. Grant, nor Mrs. Grant." Serena didn’t respond, she smiled lightly and confirmed in a soft voice.
Mrs. Zimmerman’s eyes showed disdain, telling her the answer, and those two wouldn’t bother sending a servant to deal with her.
Mrs. Zimmerman’s smile froze as Serena Sullivan’s words hit the mark, and before she could speak, Serena addressed the other servants in the living room, "Please escort Mrs. Zimmerman out of ’Willow Yarrow.’"
Her light tone held some disdain, both towards Mrs. Zimmerman and the person behind her.
"Serena Sullivan,"
Mrs. Zimmerman shouted angrily, the very person she was about to evict had ordered the other servants to escort her out, and they actually listened to Serena.
"Who dares, I belong to the old house."
Mrs. Zimmerman jumped up, waving her hands to keep people away.
She turned to look at Serena Sullivan in a wheelchair, smiling lightly, became furious, and shouted loudly, "Serena Sullivan, do you really think you’re the owner here? Let me tell you, when the Young Master returns, you’ll be sorted out."
"An invalid sitting in a wheelchair, not acknowledged by Mr. Grant and the others, wants to enter the Grant Family!"
Invalid!
To be called an "invalid" twice in one day by people connected to the old Grant house, made Serena Sullivan’s smile even brighter, coldness in her eyes causing Mrs. Zimmerman to shut her mouth.
She didn’t need recognition from the Grant family’s old house, nor did she care!
Not even the man Ethan Grant, whom she had given up on, could expect her to want to enter the Grant family!
"Throw her out!" Serena said in a steady voice.
Mrs. Zimmerman saw the servants genuinely listening to Serena, she grabbed the bucket on the ground and aggressively splashed water on them, quite a bit reaching Serena, unable to dodge.
"You invalid! Dare to throw me out, on what grounds!"
"On my grounds!"
The man’s cold voice sounded just as she finished speaking, followed by the "tap, tap, tap" of his leather shoes, stopping everyone in anticipation of Ethan Grant’s arrival.
Ethan Grant walked to the entrance of the hallway, seeing the water on the ground and Serena’s dress wet, he frowned.
Originally planning to deal with Mrs. Zimmerman after checking on Zoe Quinn, he still returned late.
"Young Master, you’re finally back."
Mrs. Zimmerman saw Ethan Grant had arrived, raised her smile, and glared proudly at Serena Sullivan.
Watch how the Young Master deals with this shameless invalid!
After speaking, Mrs. Zimmerman saw Ethan Grant’s eyes intensely fixed on Serena Sullivan and continued speaking, "This woman shamelessly brought a man in for the night and now wants to kick me, the witness, out."
Photos of Serena and the man named Chu had already been shown to the Young Master, Mrs. Zimmerman felt confident, but she was surprised to see Ethan Grant ignoring her still, instead walking to Serena Sullivan’s side.
