Mr. Pretentious: Miss Valerius, He is Begging for a Title-Chapter 70: He’s Jealous, She’s Afraid

Chapter 70

Chapter 70: Chapter 70: He’s Jealous, She’s Afraid
Unlike Eleanor Valerius’s feigned innocence, Sebastian Ford with his robe wide open was particularly honest in his wantonness.
He licked the moisture at the corner of his mouth, his eyes still filled with desire.
"Came a bit early, didn’t you?"
Sebastian lit a cigarette.
Wayne Wainwright joined him with one.
"It’s more like we came a bit late, didn’t expect Master Ford to be in such high spirits this early."
Wayne sat down, glanced at Sebastian, feigned concern, and asked, "Master Ford, with you being disturbed now, is Young Lord Ford alright?"
"Ha, want to try?"
"I couldn’t dare."
While this conversation was hitting high speed, Nathan Kendrick was still glaring at the fleeing figure of Eleanor Valerius.
"Bro, you’re really letting her stay here? Why don’t you guard against her? Instead, you make me stay at Wayne’s place?"
"Foolish boy, because Master Ford’s little fox is more useful than you."
Wayne shamelessly revealed.
Nathan retorted, "What use can she be? She’s always around Damian Lowell, and yet she doesn’t help with our investigation."
At the mention of Damian Lowell, Sebastian Ford’s eyes suddenly narrowed dangerously.
"We’re here to discuss business."
Wayne quickly responded, taking out the materials he’d gathered on Damian Lowell and said, "His identity materials in Aldoria are all legitimate, but with the Sinclair Family having so much influence, legitimate could also mean fake.
The Lowell Family disappeared after its collapse back in the days, even if we wanted to verify Damian Lowell’s DNA, there’s no one to compare it to."
"The bodyguards around Damian Lowell are very skilled, any attempts at surveillance I arrange only last less than half a day before they’re neutralized. These are the photos we’ve managed to take, nothing suspicious so far."
Nathan spread the photos out.
At a glance, Sebastian Ford saw the image of Eleanor Valerius and Damian Lowell standing side by side.
The glaring part wasn’t just Eleanor’s smile, but also Damian’s adoring gaze towards her.
"Nathan, you’re going to follow him yourself. I want every move he makes monitored."
"No problem, the Sinclair Family’s bodyguards are no match for me."
Nathan added, driven by competitiveness, "I’m definitely more useful than The Valerius Fox."
"Damian Lowell surely harbors ulterior motives towards our family’s niece."
Wayne noticed the anger in Sebastian’s eyes and fueled the fire, "Master Ford, sending a sheep into a tiger’s den, are you not worried the sheep will be snatched away? If it were me, I’d be reluctant, both jealous and envious inside."
Sebastian Ford squinted his eyes with a cold sneer, responding dismissively, "I’m deliberately using Eleanor Valerius to approach and test Damian Lowell, there’s no jealousy, nor envy."
Such bold words were left there.
Nathan looked on with admiration.
He just knew, jealousy was the last thing Master Ford would feel in this lifetime.
Night fell.
Sebastian Ford returned to the bedroom.
The room was lit, Eleanor Valerius curled up in bed, already asleep.
Her clothes were placed on the sofa, obediently ready to warm the bed.
At this moment, Sebastian sat at the edge of the bed, his large hand reaching into the blanket, touching her with little tenderness.
In her sleep, Eleanor slightly parted her lips, murmuring, unknowingly igniting his fire.
"Master Ford?"
Her voice, soft with confusion.
Suddenly, without warning, Sebastian flung open the blanket, pressing onto her as she curled up from the chill.
The passionate kisses came fiercely, uncontrollably echoing Wayne’s words in his ears.
It wasn’t jealousy, he just wasn’t used to sharing.
Even though, Eleanor was a pawn he personally sent out to use.
"Mmm..."
Eleanor hadn’t fully awakened, her consciousness sinking into his tender embrace.
She simply couldn’t withstand his relentless assault.
Pained sounds escaped her lips, she tried to catch her breath to ask, "Aren’t you upset?"
Why did it feel like he was venting his anger?
"No."
His teeth at her neck, Sebastian’s voice was cold and adamant.
At the same time, his large hand commandingly controlled her, wanting her to respond without reservation.
"If you want me happier, you better perform well."
Eleanor, caught in her half-wakefulness, had no way to answer.
In fact, Sebastian never even gave her a chance to perform well.
The bedroom was filled with a steamy, ambiguous atmosphere.
Sebastian’s eyes, bloodshot with panting, his rapid heartbeat as if it could break through his chest.
He refused to let Eleanor go, trying to suppress the jealousy and anger boiling inside with the pleasure he indulged in.
...
The next day, 10 a.m.
Eleanor didn’t hear the alarm, struggling to awaken.
Lying on the pillow, a move brought an indescribable soreness to her body.
Sebastian’s figure was no longer in bed, but the madness from last night, she still remembered clearly.
"I didn’t provoke him, did I?"
When she spoke, Eleanor heard her own hoarse voice, all from crying last night.
After a pause, she reached for her phone, freezing at the time she saw it.
"This morning there’s an important meeting, and I’m late..."
Eleanor couldn’t resist dialing Sebastian’s number.
"Awake?"
Sebastian’s lazy voice came through.
Before she could ask, he proactively explained, "I approved your leave, the morning meeting is postponed. You can shower, eat, then come to the office, or continue sleeping if you want, I’m fine with it."
All her complaints swallowed by his words.
"Why did you torment me like this last night?"
"You didn’t like it? Don’t you love me?"
Sebastian evaded with a rhetorical question.
"Yes, I love you very much."
Apparently, too much love last night.
Facing him, Eleanor’s sweet talk flowed effortlessly.
She didn’t understand why Sebastian liked hearing such lies.
"Good, be good."
Sebastian dodged her questioning.
Refusing to admit, last night’s loss of control was due to jealousy.
...
It was already afternoon when Eleanor arrived at the company.
Today, she was responsible for showing Damian Lowell around the under-construction resort.
Regarding her absence in the morning, Damian didn’t inquire.
He probably didn’t need to ask; her current state made it easy to speculate what had happened last night.
Makeup could hide the love bites, but her lips bore bite marks, and walking in heels was evidently challenging.
"Lawyer Lowell, we’ll go to the amusement park later."
Having learned from Sebastian, Eleanor treated her work seriously.
Yet, Damian’s gaze seemed more curious about her.
"Do you need a rest?"
"No need."
Eleanor didn’t want to discuss personal matters.
But unexpectedly, she ran into Jenson Lancaster here.
"Eleanor, Lawyer Lowell is here too, what a coincidence."
Jenson’s staged surprise was full of flaws.
At his words, Eleanor frowned, knowing the Lancaster Family wanted to use her shamelessly.
"I heard the Ford and Sinclair Families are working together; such a big project, and you’re also involved. The Lancaster Family isn’t an outsider, Eleanor. If you need help, remember to call your fiancé."
Eleanor kept a cold face, not even a smile for him.
"Young Master Lancaster, I’m at work, I’m Assistant Valerius, not your fiancée."
"Eleanor, I..."
Jenson probably hadn’t expected such a cold rejection from her.
"Also, this is a critical project site of the Ford Family. Since you’re not invited, please leave."
This collaboration was of great importance, Eleanor wouldn’t allow the Lancaster Family to ruin her plans.
For the first time, she showed no guise before Jenson, her sharpness unveiled.
Eleanor signaled for security to escort him out.
Until Jenson was ejected, he couldn’t comprehend, stunned by Eleanor’s aloofness.
Her beauty, assertive and aggressive, struck right at his heart.
The next moment, Jenson realized what he was thinking, slapping himself.
"Have I gone crazy?"
But Eleanor was just that stunning.
Stunning enough to make him suddenly want to claim her as his fiancée!
