Chapter 82: Chapter 82: The Intimate Photos of the Two Are Exposed
"Lawyer Lowell? What are you doing at Ford Group at this time?"
Sebastian Ford suppressed the turmoil in his eyes, his voice so cold that it revealed no trace of emotion.
He seemed to ignore Eleanor Valerius, his calm gaze fixed solely on Damian Lowell.
"Miss Valerius invited me for dinner. I’m here to pick her up."
Damian Lowell smiled, standing under the umbrella with a posture that seemed intimate, enclosing Eleanor Valerius.
At this moment, the documents Eleanor could not hold due to her aching hand were helped by Damian.
Her gaze lingered on Sebastian, wanting to speak but hesitating.
She knew he would misunderstand, knew he was angry.
Deliberately, she did not avoid suspicion with Damian, explaining with a hint of probing: "Mr. Ford, Lawyer Lowell and I arranged this meeting in advance for business. I know the cooperation between our families is crucial, as you said, and I’ve kept it in my heart.
Mr. Ford, do you have other plans for me now?"
With a bright smile, Eleanor placed the decision before him.
This encounter wasn’t planned by her, but she daringly used Damian to provoke him.
"Assistant Valerius, I also mentioned you don’t need to explain your personal time to me. Why didn’t you keep that in heart?"
Sebastian responded with a cold gaze.
Not far away.
Mason Monroe blocked the driver from leaving at the company’s parking entrance.
Though Mr. Ford wouldn’t admit it, he knew Mr. Ford was deliberately trying to bump into Miss Valerius and Lawyer Lowell.
"I was wrong..."
All of Eleanor’s deliberate provocations were cut off.
Noticing the subtleties between them, Damian patted Eleanor’s shoulder smoothly, smiling as he said, "Miss Valerius misunderstood Mr. Ford’s intent. After work, of course, you can arrange your time freely.
Mr. Ford respects you by not interfering. Since that’s the case, let’s get in the car and leave."
Sebastian rejected Eleanor, yet he seized the chance to be alone with her.
"Okay, Mr. Ford, I’m leaving now."
Eleanor looked back at him with every step.
Sebastian stood there indifferently.
However, Mason saw that Mr. Ford’s mood was terrible, quickly urging the driver to drive over.
Two luxury cars were parked front and back there.
"Give me those. Be careful with your arm."
Damian’s umbrella tilted slightly to shield Eleanor from the rain.
As Eleanor got into the car, her eyes instinctively glanced at Sebastian.
However, Sebastian, without even an umbrella, got into the car in the rain and left.
Today’s plan was a total failure!
Eleanor sighed softly, forcing a smile at Damian in the driver’s seat: "I’m sorry, Lawyer Lowell, Miss Ford can’t make it; how about we reschedule dinner?"
"A business dinner can be rescheduled, but..."
Damian’s dark eyes looked at her, smiling as he exposed her: "Miss Valerius just used me, shouldn’t you have dinner with me as thanks?"
Indeed, it’s not easy to deceive a top lawyer.
"Okay."
Eleanor could only agree.
...
After dinner,
Damian personally drove Eleanor back to the Valerius Family.
In the car, she seemed to notice a car near her home, which belonged to Sebastian.
Just as Damian drove away, and before she could run back to confirm.
The Ford’s limousine drove straight over, stopping right where it blocked the surveillance cameras.
The door opened, and in the mix of light and shadow was Sebastian’s god-like handsome face.
"Master Ford?!"
Eleanor, overjoyed, didn’t think twice before rushing to hug him.
Suddenly, as Sebastian got out of the car, he grasped her face harshly, pushing away her attempt to touch him.
"Eleanor Valerius, you’ve had quite an eventful day. First, Jenson Lancaster, then Damian Lowell; who do you plan to use to provoke me tomorrow? Do you think I care? Do you think such clumsy tricks can still manipulate me?"
Sebastian’s gaze was menacing, his voice seething with long-repressed anger.
In that moment, Eleanor was indeed a bit frightened.
But compared to an angry Sebastian, she found his indifference more terrifying.
"If I say I didn’t, would you believe me?"
Eleanor’s soft hands grasped him, sliding up his arm slowly, trying to hug his neck.
But Sebastian seemed angered by her lack of repentance.
His large hand gripped her wrist, pushing her away strongly.
As a result, Eleanor’s injured arm hurt so much it made her body tremble.
"Ouch..."
Not faking?
Sebastian frowned, instinctively loosening his grip on her.
At that moment, Eleanor endured the pain, seizing the chance when Sebastian had let his guard down, she pounced and hugged him tightly.
The long-missed embrace.
Sebastian was momentarily dazed, quickly realizing that he couldn’t push her away; nor would he give her any response or reaction.
"Master Ford, I’m not used to being without you."
Eleanor gazed closely at him, her voice slightly choked.
It was a coquettish appeasement, tinged with genuine emotion.
"Did you miss me?"
"Heh, not at all."
Sebastian maintained a cold, lowered gaze at her.
"I missed you a lot."
Eleanor wrapped around his neck, stood on tiptoe, and initiated a kiss.
Her kiss wasn’t aggressive and passionate; rather, it gently lingered on his thin lips, soft and warm.
After kissing, she looked at him with bright, clear eyes waiting for his reaction.
That’s it?
Sebastian smiled derisively.
In the next instant, Eleanor kissed him again.
She kissed, then paused for seconds, repeating, softly colliding with him.
Sebastian’s tall frame stood there with noticeable tension.
He couldn’t remain unaffected by Eleanor’s sudden kiss, even tightening his lips against her probing tongue.
Thus, he had to focus intently on feeling her soft lips.
His heart seemed to be gently stirred, his Adam’s apple bobbing.
Wanting more, Sebastian took a deep breath and abruptly pushed Eleanor away.
"The outcome now is the result of your own choices."
His voice was hoarse with restraint.
"I truly know I was wrong."
Eleanor’s eyes shimmered as she tried to throw herself into his arms again.
Suddenly, Sebastian approached, not to embrace her but to tug at the strap of her red dress, breaking it.
She dressed so beautifully yet dined with other men twice!
The dress slid downwards.
In a panic, Eleanor covered her chest.
"Wrong choices come with consequences."
Sebastian coldly left her with those words and walked away.
Eleanor stood frozen.
Was she really supposed to give up on this lover?
...
Two days later.
Eleanor followed Regina Jennings to dine at the Ford family mansion.
Entering the living room, she ran into Sebastian coming out.
Their eyes met, and she quickly took a step back to avoid suspicion.
"Uncle."
"Hmm."
Sebastian didn’t even glance at her, passing by indifferently.
She seemed no longer daring to be reckless, while he was so cold it felt like they were strangers.
"What’s going on between you and Sebastian?" Regina asked curiously.
"Nothing," Eleanor replied, masking her unease with a smile.
On the surface, they were still uncle and niece, but was the affection behind closed doors already nullified?
Before dining began, everyone sat in the living room, chatting over tea.
Eleanor sat in the corner, her peripheral vision catching Sebastian at the head seat.
High and distant, unreachable now, even a corner of his clothing seemed out of reach.
"Uncle, did you see the news?!"
At that moment, Julian Ford rushed in, looking flustered: "A gossip magazine exposed your... bed photo!"
Eleanor stood there, shocked, her jaw dropping.
Master Ford’s bed photo?
With whom?
Was it her?!
