Half an hour ago, Feng Xiyan dismounted his warhorse, tossed the reins to the soldiers guarding the main gate of the Great General’s mansion, and rushed inside with a dark expression.
Holding the reins, one soldier exchanged a look with his comrade and asked in confusion, "Is that the Great General?"
His comrade nodded. "Yes."
The two stared at each other in silence for a moment, then swallowed hard and said in unison, "Who angered the Great General? He looks so scary."
While the two soldiers were pondering who could be so bold as to anger their Great General, Feng Xiyan rushed into the main courtyard without stopping.
Not seeing Bai Hanyun or Xiao Cui there, he stopped a manservant and asked urgently, "Where is Yun’er?"
The servant bowed and replied, "Answering the Young Master, Miss Bai is currently entertaining her friends in the back courtyard."

Feng Xiyan followed the direction of her finger, then glanced back at them. "Go and receive your punishment."
Leaving those words behind, he hurried away.
After he left, Yi Bai immediately glared at Jiushi Liu and grabbed his collar.
"Brother, that wasn’t nice of you. How could you push me out as a shield?" she asked through gritted teeth.
Seeing that Yi Bai was truly angry, Jiushi Liu quickly took out a cup of bubble milk tea he had carefully preserved for a long time from his Qiankun Pouch.
After hesitating for a moment, he pushed it toward her and said fawningly, "Here. Take it. Consider it my apology."
