Player’s Guide to Raising a BUG Angel-Chapter 46 : Living together begins!

Chapter 46

Chapter 46: Living together begins!
Ultimately, Mophis still could not hold on.
Under Dragon King Ignis’s domineering, CEO-style “move-in declaration” and the tens of thousands of players’ thunderous “welcome, deputy leader” cheers, the nerve in her that had been stretched to the limit finally snapped with a “pop.”
From mental exhaustion and a rush of heat to the head, her vision had gone black and she had very neatly and decisively fallen backward.
“Wife!”
“Mom!”
“Damn, stop calling her ‘mom’! The wife fainted!”
“Cleric squad! Heal her now! What are you standing there for!”
The players’ camp instantly descended into chaos.
However, before the players’ healing spells could be cast, a scarlet afterimage—like a blink-teleport—had already appeared behind the collapsing Mophis.
Ignis had swept that slender, soft body into her arms.
The feeling on contact was lighter, and even more… fragile than she had imagined.
As if it were a piece of easily shattered porcelain, she involuntarily eased her grip.
She lowered her head to look at the pale, beautiful face in her arms, which had appeared unusually serene because of the fainting; a flicker of pity, one she had not even noticed in herself before, crossed her golden eyes.
“Hmph, such a fragile ‘little thing’.”
Though she said that with her mouth, her arms held the girl more securely.
She could feel that the spirit energy inside that body had been drained to a dangerous edge.
That display earlier had cost far more of her than it had appeared.
“Consider yourself lucky.”
Ignis murmured to herself, then turned, carrying Mophis, and strode straight toward the iron fortress gate under the stunned gazes of the players.
Her steps were full of queenly elegance and dominance.
It was as if she were not an “uninvited guest” at all, but the true mistress of the fortress.
“Hey! You perverted milk-cow dragon! What are you doing to our wife!”
“Put her down! Let us handle this!”
A few stubborn players could not help but rush forward to stop her.
Ignis did not even look back; she only snorted coldly.
An invisible field of force, carrying a scorching heat, radiated from her.
Those players at the front suddenly felt as if they had slammed into a red-hot iron wall; they screamed as they were flung far away, numbers of terrifyingly high damage popping above their heads.
【-12450!】
【-13800!】

A mere passive aura had almost one-shot several max-level tank classes.
After that, every player calmed down.
They could only watch helplessly as their longed-for wife was carried by that overbearing she-dragon in a “princess-carry” into the library.
The heavy gate forged from “Obsidian” and “Mithril” slammed shut with a “bang” before them and slowly closed.
The entire world fell silent again.
All the players looked at one another; their expressions were indescribably vivid.
“This… what was that?”
“NTR? In front of tens of thousands of us, she got NTR’d right in front of our eyes?”
“I feel like an impotent husband who just got slapped twice by the blond and watched him carry our wife into our own house, shutting the door on us.”
“Nonsense! What NTR! This is ‘the Queen’s protection’! Didn’t you see how tense the Dragon King was just now? She was worried about our wife’s body!”
“Exactly! And didn’t you see? A princess-carry! That scene alone could inspire a million-word doujin!”
“Mom!”
“Shut up, that’s yuri!”
“Forum! Get on the forum! I’m posting! ‘Shocking! Dragon King Ignis announces joining the Knights and begins a sweet cohabitation with the Wife!’”
“Going, going! I’ll draw doujin! I’ll draw that princess-carry scene!”
“A teacher has already announced they’re starting a doujin; mark my spot—notify me when it’s ready to launch.”
And so, the world-ending crisis triggered by the Dragon King ended, in a way none of them expected, with gossip and shipper energy.

When Mophis woke up again, she found herself lying on an… incredibly luxurious, incredibly soft large bed.
This bed was at least five times larger than her previous small bed where she had curled up alone.
The mattress had been filled with top-grade “Cloud Cotton,” and the sheets were woven from “Holy Light Silk,” emitting a faint, soothing glow.
The pillows were stuffed with calming, mind-clearing “Moonlight Flower Stamen.”
Even the quilt was made from the fluff of an entire “Gryphon Cub,” light as nothing yet unusually warm.
Mophis: “…”
She recalled that her library had none of these things.
Her own bed had been an ordinary wooden board bed with a stiff, hand-sewn cotton mat.
So… where was she?
She sat up abruptly and looked around.
She realized she was in an extremely ostentatious room full of nouveau-riche flair.
The walls were papered with glittering gold wallpaper.
The floor was covered with a thick carpet made from the skins of some unknown magical beast.
The corners of the room were heaped with sparkling gems, gold, and mithril vessels—so many that they nearly overflowed.
What she recognized most was the simple dressing table that had originally belonged to her.
Now that dressing table was weighed down by dazzling jewelry she had never even seen before, nearly threatening to crush it.
“Did she move her lair here?”
Mophis gaped.
She quickly identified the place as her own room—the small reading chamber on the library’s second floor.
Only now, that reading chamber had been “modded” into a resplendent… dragon treasure trove.
“You’re awake?”
A lazy, magnetic voice came from the window.
Mophis whipped her head around and witnessed a sight she would never forget.
The golden Dragon King Ignis was lounging on her small bay window in an extremely indecent but irresistibly alluring pose.
Her ornate scale armor was gone, replaced by a semi-transparent red silk sleep robe of some unknown, wafer-thin material.
The robe hung loosely, revealing her long, ivory-white, smooth legs and a breath-stealing, bottomless cleavage.
Her flaming red hair was casually spread behind her, a few mischievous strands falling over her majestic chest.
In her hand she idly toyed with a pigeon-egg-sized, flawless diamond, turning it to admire the brilliant light it refracted in the sunlight.
Sensing Mophis’s gaze, she turned her head; those molten-gold eyes appraised Mophis from top to bottom, and a playful smile curved her mouth.
“Sleeping well, my ‘little collectible’?”
“This bed was carefully selected from my tens of thousands of collections—the most comfortable one.”
Mophis looked at her, then at the glittering surroundings, and felt a dull ache begin behind her temples.
“What… did you do to me?”
Mophis instinctively checked her body.
Her clothes were intact, and the “Decisive Weapon” was still with her.
The hollow weakness from spirit-energy exhaustion had vanished, replaced by an unprecedented surge of vitality.
“What could I possibly have done to you?”
Ignis sneered as if she had heard the world’s greatest joke.
She rose from the bay window, barefoot, and walked step by step to the bedside.
A hot breath carrying the scent of sulfur and some peculiar perfume washed over her.
She looked down at Mophis sitting on the bed; her golden eyes were full of scrutiny and a trace of dissatisfaction.
“I just felt that my future ‘treasure’ was too weak a body—it dragged down my collection’s taste.”
“So I casually fed you a drop of my ‘Dragon’s Essence.’”
“How do you feel now? Don’t you feel like you could punch a cow to death with one fist?”
“Dragon’s Essence?!”
Mophis’s heart leapt.
That was the most precious thing of the dragon clan! Every drop contained the truest life energy and power essence of a great dragon!
In the game she had lived before, a single drop of Dragon’s Essence could transform an ordinary person, granting mighty draconic power—worth more than a legendary item!
This spendthrift woman had just… handed it to her so casually?
Just because she thought Mophis’s weak body lowered her “collection’s taste”?
What an outrageous… way of caring.
Mophis did not know how to react for a moment.
Should she thank her? Or accuse her of wasting a treasure?
Ignis, watching her dumbfounded expression, frowned further.
“What, are you stunned?”
She extended a finger and unsympathetically poked Mophis’s forehead.
“Or do you think I haven’t made this lousy room luxurious enough?”
“True, this space is too small—less than one ten-thousandth of my treasury; it does you a disservice.”
“Why don’t… I just take you back to my lair?”
