Chapter 197: Brutal Combo
As soon as the gang members see Drake go down, in panic, they take their aim off of Lana and her friends, and that was all the time Adam needed to disarm them of their guns.
Adam shoots multiple times in split seconds. Shoot, move his hand to change target, stop, shoot, repeat. With the help of his superior eyesight and muscle control, Adam managed to disarm all five of them in a second before they could even fire their own guns.
Five shots in a second, Adam manages to get all of them with extreme accuracy. Every bullet manages to hit the guns in their hand, sending all of them flying.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAA," Lana and her friends scream again, hearing the gunshots.
As for the gang members, they grab onto their dominant hands as the pain from their guns getting shot off their hands comes alive.
They grit their teeth in pain while panicking, trying to find their guns, only to see them badly damaged. Now they have nothing to protect themselves with.
Fear of the unknown creeps up. The leader realizes that whoever shot at them just managed to disarm all of them in a second, while there is barely any visible light around.
Whoever’s after them is a monster. Something they are not built to handle. Suddenly, they see someone bursting right out of the dark and coming right at them. A dark silhouette of a man.
The leader and his goons tense up, ready to fight.
As the figure gets closer, they realize it’s just a young man.
"GET HIM!" The leader shouts angrily, realizing that it was just one young kid, the same age as the others, who they have in their custody.
He can’t believe he let a kid scare him so much. So what if he is a good shooter? He is still a young kid; what can he do against five grown men who are constantly fighting in gang wars?
’Idiot! You should have stayed in the dark and used the gun,’ The leader thinks, grinning, as Adam’s decision to come straight at them without any gun in his hand is a stupid decision.
Little does he know that Adam purposely left the gun behind. He wants to inflict pain on them directly with his hands.
Lana and her friends also recognize Adam and immediately feel happy.
The gang members, except the leader, immediately charge at Adam, ready to take him down and beat the shit out of him.
The first one to get close to Adam is a skinny guy who’s much faster than his comrades. Seeing Adam getting close, the guy plants his legs and winds his hand back to punch Adam, and when Adam’s face comes right into his range, he throws his punch.
Too bad, Adam sees the punch coming from a mile away, he had even predicted the punch before the guy even threw it.
Adam moves his head to the right to let the punch fly past his ear while he throws his own punch. A vicious upper cut.
With his speed and power, it’s child’s play. In fact, Adam’s just bullying them with his superior physical abilities, but he doesn’t care. Scums like this don’t deserve mercy.
Adam’s uppercut connects, and it’s a vicious one. The sound following the contact is also nasty, as one can basically hear his lower jaw get pressed into his upper jaw, which causes his teeth to compress and get pushed off their gums.
But Adam isn’t done, just as the goon’s head was about to snap back and suffer a brutal whiplash that could possibly kill him, Adam’s right hand shoots at the goon’s head, grabs him by his hair, and pulls his face down to meet his knee.
Another nasty knee strike by Adam, which causes the goon’s lower half of the face to cave in, sending his already loose teeth flying down his own throat.
The first goon is down. Adam throws him to the side, plants the ball of his left leg into the ground, and twists his hips before throwing a very fast, accurate, and brutal spinning hook kick at the guy who was just right behind the first guy.
This one’s a tall one, towering over most men with a height of six feet five or above, and that’s why Adam made sure to meet the man’s jaw with the heel of his foot.
Before the goon could even register what happened, Adam’s heel bashed into his jaw joint, shattering the right side of his jaw in an instant.
The big man fell to the ground without knowing what hit him.
Adam then crouched down as soon as his foot touched ground and he lunged at the third guy. This one is short but wide and muscular. But it doesn’t matter. Adam’s way too powerful.
He drives his shoulder into the goon’s abdomen, knocking the air out of him before lifting him off the ground with ease and then slamming him down to the ground with a lot of force using Northern Lights Suplex.
The impact was so brutal that multiple ribs connected to his spine cracked under the force.
Adam then immediately let go of the goon and did a kip up right into the air, reaching almost three meters in the air before coming down at the last guy, who froze on the spot, seeing Adam up in the air.
Adam pulled his hand back, bent it, and met the last goon with a devastating flying forearm strike, caving the goon’s nose in and knocking him out in the process.
After taking down four goons with ease, Adam stood there, locking eyes with the leader, who stared at Adam, stunned and horrified.
He has never seen anyone so brutally beat up four guys at once.
Lana and her friends also couldn’t help but stare at Adam, dumbfounded and in awe. If not for the situation they are in right now, and witnessing with their own eyes, they wouldn’t have believed the shit Adam just did if someone told them word to action.
The leader, with trembling hands and feet, took another step back, turned around, and made a run for it. "Fuck this shit! I am out!" He yelled as he ran for his life.
Adam just stood there watching as the goon leader tried to run into the forest, only for his face to meet a brutal jumping front kick.
Sending his ass, flying back.
It’s Crill and Zydan. They finally caught up.
When they got here, they just saw Adam jump into the air from the kip-up and land that brutal flying forearm, which impressed them a lot.
Then they saw the last goon trying to escape, so Crill decided to meet the runner with his signature strike. A jumping front kick. It has been his go-to strike whenever he wants to brutally knockout someone.
His heel meets the goon leader’s face, smashing his front teeth in and sending his ass flying back.
As Crill and Zydan step out of the bushes and look around, they see the carnage that Adam has created, making them suck in cold air through their teeth.
"Dude! Holy shit! What did you do to them?" Crill asks as he approaches Adam and the group.
"They had guns, I needed to get rid of them," Adam answers nonchalantly.
"Shit! Zydan, remind me not to ever mess with Adam here," Crill says as he sees a few guys near the cabin moaning and rolling around in pain.
Adam doesn’t think much of Crill’s words; instead, he approaches Lana, who just stands there, watching Adam with a complicated gaze.
Adam takes the binds off her hands and asks. "Are you okay? Did they do anything to you?". Hearing his question, Lana just shakes her head.
"Good,"
"aaaaaaaaa" Adam then hears a groan. He turns to look at Drake, who is moaning in pain while clutching his collarbone. Yes, Adam didn’t kill Drake. He just shot his collarbone, breaking it in the process.
It’s the least he could do for someone who just kidnapped Lana and her friends and was about to force himself on them.
If Adam didn’t fear the consequences of the law, he would have killed all of them, but that would only complicate things. Leaving these people alive was his best option.
It will give Clara an advantage in court if things get out of control and Adam is forced to take a stand and defend himself.
Crill and Zydan help Lana’s friends also get out of their bind while Adam is busy checking on Lana, who just blushes, feeling Adam touch her body.
"Help me tie them up before the police get here," Adam says to Crill and Zydan, who nod and help Adam group all nine goons and Drake together and tie them up using the same binds that were used to tie up Lana and her friends.
"You should call your mom and inform her about what happened," Adam says to Lana and hands her his phone.
She takes his phone with hesitation, but does as he suggested.
A few minutes later, there are sounds of sirens. The police finally arrive.
’Took them long enough,’ Adam thinks.
If he had waited for the police, Adam could only wonder what kind of horrible things these goons would have done to Lana and her friends.
A few police cars roll in through the forest path and stop a few meters away from Adam’s group. They then rush out with guns in their hands, pointing right at Adam and his friends.
Adam looks at his friends and sighs before raising his hands. Crill and Zydan do the same, and so do Lana and her friends.
"Just keep calm and tell them the truth. No need to lie, it will just make things complicated." Adam says as the police slowly approach them, guns pointed.
