Rise of the Lustful Evil Monarch (Re)-Chapter 450: Triple Combo (2)
Chapter 450: Triple Combo (2)
Third Person’s POV
The earlier trace of amusement and casual interest on her lovely face had vanished completely.
In its place appeared a sharp, focused seriousness as her beautiful eyes were locked onto the battlefield.
She watched every movement intently, and her gaze tracked Ethan with such concentration that it seemed as though she feared missing even a single microsecond of the exchange.
In contrast, the thin, dark-haired young man in the midst of the dark clan of the Abyssal Dominion’s royal demons still wore his usual lackadaisical expression.
His posture remained relaxed, and he observed the fight with an air of boredom, as if the violent clash unfolding before him was nothing more than mild entertainment.
Jack, meanwhile, was hurled through the air like a discarded rag doll, and before his body could slam into the towering black tower wall nearby, Ethan flashed toward him once again, his speed leaving behind only a faint distortion in the air.
This time, Jack barely registered what was happening as his eyes had already rolled back and his mind lagged behind the brutal reality of the situation.
He tried to scream for help as his throat tightened with absolute terror, but only a hoarse, broken sound escaped him as whatever courage he had possessed earlier was long gone.
That crushing punch had completely extinguished the adrenaline fueling his arrogance and his hot blood, and with it, any will to continue fighting.
Jack was not a seasoned combatant to begin with, and after being overwhelmed by fear and pain, he had lost all composure.
His body started to betray him in the most humiliating way as he pissed himself in sheer terror, but Ethan showed no trace of mercy as this was not a moment for restraint.
This was the moment to carve a deep scar, both mental and physical, into the arrogant young demon lord who had dared to cross him.
He was not the mercy type, as he knew that his and his girls’ fate would have been worse under someone like Jack’s hand, had he been weak.
But Ethan’s awareness never left the periphery, and he had not forgotten the deacons.
He knew they could interfere at any moment, so acting decisively, he twisted his body in midair and, borrowing momentum from the flow of the battle, his leg snapped forward like a whip and smashed into Jack’s chest with overwhelming force.
A sickening series of cracks rang out as all his ribs shattered.
Blood burst from Jack’s mouth and nose as his body slammed into the ground, only to bounce helplessly back into the air.
The impact was so violent that several of those who had earlier rebuked Ethan nearly collapsed on the spot, their legs weakening under a suffocating mix of fear and regret.
But Ethan was not finished, and there was one final strike left in his brutal, flowing triple combo.
Catching Jack by his remaining intact hand, Ethan spun through the air once and then twice.
With each rotation, the momentum built, and the centrifugal force he accumulated grew terrifyingly strong.
Then, with a flying start of several feet, he prepared to hurl Jack away like trash when a thunderous shout slammed into the square.
"Stop your mayhem right this instant, you brat!"
The voice was amplified by dense mana and roared outward like a shockwave.
Several students clutched their ears at the sound as their faces paled as the sound threatened to rupture their eardrums, but Ethan did not respond as he knew who had spoken.
Instead, as an open display of defiance, he rotated once more while gripping Jack’s limp body tightly and deliberately increased the force of the impending throw, when a shout reached his ears once more, though it was much closer now and sounded even better.
"You dare disobey this lord!!"
As Ethan completed his third rotation, his sharp eyes finally locked onto the source of the voice.
It was one of the three deacons, specifically the bulky one who had been standing just behind the senior, gray-haired deacon from the beginning.
The man’s face was twisted with righteous fury, and his expression was filled with indignation as though Ethan’s actions were a direct insult to his authority.
He was rushing towards Ethan in midair, and his eyes burned with anger as he clearly seemed to be questioning Ethan’s audacity and defiant attitude.
However, that expression barely lasted a heartbeat.
The moment the deacon realized what Ethan was about to do, his face stiffened, and the rage on his face drained instantly and was replaced by pure shock and a trace of genuine horror, as Ethan hurled Jack’s broken body straight toward him without the slightest hesitation.
The throw was sudden and terrifyingly forceful.
There was no time for the bulky deacon to gather himself and no chance to dodge or brace properly.
As a result, the two collided violently in midair, the impact knocking the breath from his lungs as both bodies were sent flying backward together.
They slammed down onto the softer, muddy ground of the garden instead of stone this time, but the force behind the throw was still immense.
Their bodies skidded across the earth and carved out a long, straight trench of torn soil and crushed flowers before finally coming to a halt.
When the bulky deacon managed to stop himself and push up from the ground, his once-imposing appearance was in complete disarray.
Mud clung to his robes and soaked into the luxurious fabric, ruining it completely.
His hair was plastered to his head in uneven clumps, and his face was smeared with wet soil, making him look more like a furious laborer than a dignified academy deacon.
Jack, on the other hand, was in an even worse state.
His mouth and nose were clogged with thick mud, and his breathing was labored and panicked as pain and fear clouded his eyes.
He stared up at the deacon with a helpless, trembling expression, utterly broken and pitiful.
