Chapter 708: God kayden?
At that moment, there was only the true elite of existence in that place; the weakest god in that environment was at the very least at the fourth divine level. This was completely insane, yet acceptable, considering the environment they were in. The true void was not something that ordinary mages would be able to enter calmly.
Many of those present there were old acquaintances; at least more than half of them knew each other. The divine king was one of the youngest among them and, at the same time, one of the most powerful gods that had ever existed, yet the number of powerful mages in that place was insane.
"Is this the mage of legends? Kayden Heart?" one of the gods asked, and the one who answered was Thoth.
"Yes. Now silence." His tone allowed no discussion, and at that level there was not a single madman who would have the courage to go against Thoth; not even the divine king would dare to do such a thing.
Thoth was not omnipotent, nor was he something intensely strong, but he was omnipresent; of that, no god at that level had any doubt. The god of wisdom reached every small fragment of existence; no matter how far you went, Thoth would still have one of his clones in that region.
Kayden continued telling his story, and his law continued coming toward him at an even greater speed. In a few decades, the amount of his law outside the void became small; only high-level geniuses with a high degree of sensitivity were capable of feeling it. It practically ceased to exist, and monarchs growing like plagues were no longer appearing.
With each passing day, the Law of the Monarch of Oneself became smaller on the outside; with each second, it disappeared and became something alive only in the past. The number of mages who used it declined rapidly. Real life was a jungle; there was no mercy, and as soon as the strength of those dominant monarchs began to fall, all of them were killed and hunted.
The amount of the law being accumulated in that place should have been insane; it should have been something that not even the divine king had moved in his entire life. It was the law of all existence; it was a law that existed in all worlds that exist, and even so, it was being pulled by Kayden without the slightest sign of difficulty. Little by little, it was coming to an end, yet that end was also distant; it took thousands of years, with the flow practically doubling every day, for it to reach the true end.
After some time, there was simply nothing left of Kayden’s law in existence; it was simply removed from circulation. It was a law that had existed for trillions of years and, out of absolute nothingness, disappeared. No one was able to even feel it, and this caused one of the most bizarre situations that had ever occurred.
An insane number of deaths began to happen, whether from mages who killed those who had previously been in power or from the suicide of those who found themselves without any strength. This practically resulted in about 50% of all rational living beings being eliminated in a few years. It was a frightening decrease in population; it had the same proportion as a war would have had, but this was not Kayden’s problem.
Kayden was completely immersed in himself; he had not even noticed that his law was coming to him. His life was being entirely reviewed; every small thought was examined. The funny thing was that there was a small detail that was causing something insane to happen at that moment.
Kayden’s soul and Athena’s were twin souls, and during the period in which Kayden was with her, his thoughts and actions had a slight influence from her. Kayden was not being one hundred percent himself during that period; Athena’s tentacles were in all of his actions and decisions, even if in a small and brief way. They were still there. One of the best examples of this was the time it took him to kill her and absorb her soul; Kayden pushed this to the maximum time he could.
After he merged the two souls, Kayden had never noticed it, but there were always details and actions that were not his; they were things he would not do as a first option, perhaps as a second, but this small difference was a great deal. It directly meant that his actions were not his own; no matter how small they were, it was not Kayden who was in control of his life. At least, that was how it had been before...
Kayden spent hundreds of trillions of years or more focusing solely on his soul after he completely got rid of Athena. If placed into numbers, Kayden had spent only 10% of his entire existence before having his soul fully separated; all the rest was completely alone. Ninety percent of his life was after the ascension of the Monarch of Chaos.
It took time, but it came to an end. Kayden’s story was completely recorded by the Librarian and archived at the highest level of confidentiality, only being possible to be viewed after Kayden died with no chance of resurrection.
Meanwhile, Kayden was reaching the absolute apex of his soul; not even when he was fused with Athena’s soul was he capable of reaching so far. It seemed that he had reached the true level of mastery over himself; he truly became worthy of his law at that moment.
Kayden’s soul broke through a small point that no mortal had ever touched before. It was a small point that should never have been crossed by a mortal mage; it was something that did not exist before that moment. Fear ran up the spines of the surrounding gods after they understood what had happened.
It was something that most of them actually understood perfectly; it was something extremely common for them. Kayden’s soul no longer had any mortal aura; not even a single centimeter of it seemed to belong to a mortal, and meanwhile...
"Perfection." Kayden smiled as he looked at the world with his new level of soul. His talent, which was already insane, practically increased tenfold at that moment. It was a ridiculous leap and...
"The karmic law," Thoth whispered when he saw Kayden’s hands turn green, with small lightning bolts circulating around them.
Kayden’s domain practically increased by hundreds of times in a single analysis of the karmic law. His power reached the greatest peak a mortal had ever achieved at that moment; there was no way not to acknowledge it, especially when he...
BOOOM!
The void was completely torn open, revealing the Law of Chaos in its raw form. Kayden made a cut of trillions of kilometers in a single movement of his Law of the Monarch of Oneself; this was not even his path being used in its entirety.
