During lunchtime, many patients and their families were strolling around the small hospital square, when a girl gasping for breath sprinted past them.
The tall and slender man sitting leisurely on a nearby bench, with his long legs crossed, casually counted: "The twelfth lap."
"Only twelve laps? Professor Luo, are you sure you’re not miscounting?" Mu Chenxi ran to Luo Shangqing, bending over and panting with her hands on her knees, "I feel like... I’ve run twenty laps already."

When lunchtime came, Mu Chenxi wolfed down two large bowls of rice and still looked only half full.

"No, she is an undergraduate student."
Having answered this question multiple times, even Mu Chenxi was growing impatient, but Luo Shangqing remained good-natured, calmly explaining to every person that came to chat.
In the classroom, he was always gentle, elegant, and very patient, but having been in contact with him for a while, Mu Chenxi realized that he was actually a particularly cold person, not fond of communicating with others, mostly living in his own world and research subjects. So his good mood today was like the sun rising in the west.
After lunch, they returned to the office. Luo Shangqing was going back to his rest room for a nap before an afternoon surgery. Before sleeping, he set some problems for Mu Chenxi to work on.
Mu Chenxi was utterly unwilling, but out of respect for his authority, she dare not say much.
The hospital was exceptionally quiet at noon. Outside Luo Shangqing’s window was a small garden; although there were no flowers blooming this season, a large patch of evergreens was still lush and verdant.
