Ding Yixin couldn’t help letting out a low laugh.
Rong Xingyu: ...
He was still discovered.
Rong Xingyu simply opened his eyes fully.
He called softly, "Dr. Ding."
"Can’t sleep?" Ding Yixin walked forward and lowered his head, looking down at Rong Xingyu lying on the bed.
Rong Xingyu quickly nodded.
"How about I sleep on the floor here," Ding Yixin said.
The thunder outside would not stop for a while.
The villa had no electricity or internet now.
The two of them couldn’t just sit here staring at a few candles until morning.
Ding Yixin found two spare quilts in the cabinet and he spread one on the empty space on the floor.
Rong Xingyu leaned on the bed’s edge and watched him.
Just as Ding Yixin bent his long legs and preparing to lie down on the not-very-long quilt, Rong Xingyu suddenly called out.
"Dr. Ding! H-how about you come up here too?"
After he said this, he realized it didn’t sound right, but the words were already out like spilled water.
He felt Ding Yixin’s movement suddenly stop.
He then looked at him.
Rong Xingyu had no choice but to gather his courage and pat the other side of the bed.
"The f-floor is uncomfortable," Rong Xingyu said in a stumbling voice, almost biting his own tongue. "The bed is big. Dr. Ding, you c-can... come up and sleep here too."

As soon as Rong Xingyu finished speaking, he pulled the blanket up over his head at lightning speed, covering his entire face as if he could hide inside it.
Not long after, he felt the other side of the bed move.
It was very clear someone else had gotten onto the bed.
Rong Xingyu felt like his head inside the blanket was going to heat up and explode.
He had to close his eyes tightly and force himself to fall asleep.
Maybe because there was another person beside him this time, Rong Xingyu actually fell asleep without noticing.
With the faint light, Ding Yixin could see that Rong Xingyu had almost his whole body buried under the blanket, only showing a bit of his dark hair.
The steady breathing coming from inside the blanket told him the boy was sleeping soundly.
A smile rose in Ding Yixin’s eyes.
He reached out and gently pulled the blanket down a little.
Rong Xingyu’s face was flushed from being covered inside the blanket and the hair on his forehead was a bit messy.
After the blanket slipped down and revealed his face, Rong Xingyu still showed no sign of waking up.
He only smacked his lips once and slept even deeper.
Ding Yixin looked quietly at his peaceful sleeping face and whispered, "Good night, Yuyu."
No one knew when the storm had stopped, but when the first ray of sunlight passed through the thin curtains and fell into the bedroom, the whole island was quiet, as if nothing had happened.
Oh, maybe not nothing.
Rong Xingyu’s long eyelashes trembled twice and he slowly opened his eyes.
He was still a little dazed from sleep, but when he clearly saw the scene in front of him, Rong Xingyu suddenly shut his eyes close again, fast and tight.
He silently counted ten numbers in his heart.
But when he opened his eyes again, what he saw in front of him was still Ding Yixin’s chest.

He widened his eyes and instinctively held his breath.

Rong Xingyu carefully lifted Ding Yixin’s arm away and slowly got out of bed on his toes, heading toward the bathroom.
Hearing Rong Xingyu’s footsteps which he tried to make soft, but still sounded a bit messy the man lying on his side on the bed moved the corner of his lips and slowly opened his eyes.
Water was flowing loudly in the bathroom, but Rong Xingyu was still standing there, staring blankly at himself in the mirror.
It was the first time he had seen himself like this. Why was his face so red?
Rong Xingyu felt that ever since he woke up this morning, something between him and Dr. Ding felt different.
But even if he wanted to explain it, he couldn’t tell what exactly had changed.
He could only feel that he was blushing much more often.
When Ding Yixin took the plate with the fried egg from his hand, their fingers accidentally touched.
