In front of him sat several scholars with graying hair.
These big names in the research world were sitting there like students, they’re attentively listening to Rong Zhijian and constantly nodding in agreement.
The staff member knocked on the transparent glass and Rong Zhijian looked up in their direction.
Seeing Rong Xingyu, Rong Zhijian gave him a slow nod from across the room.
"Sit down and rest for a moment," the staff member said after completing their task of guiding them and left, leaving Rong Xingyu and Ye Shiyuan to sit and rest.
Before long, Rong Zhijian pushed the door open and walked in.
Rong Xingyu set down the disposable paper cup in his hand and instinctively stood up from the stool. He obediently greeted Rong Zhijian: "Third Brother."
Rong Zhijian looked at Rong Xingyu, his face neutral, but the expression behind his glasses softened slightly.
He gave Rong Xingyu a slight nod. "You’ve arrived."

Rong Zhijian’s gaze swept subtly across Ye Shiyuan who was standing beside Rong Xingyu.

But when Rong Xingyu looked closely at the two assignments, it felt as if a wad of cotton had filled his throat.
He suddenly lost his voice.
Then Rong Zhijian continued, "According to the system records, his submission time was indeed slightly earlier than yours."
Rong Xingyu suddenly lifted his head and looked at Rong Zhijian, his eyes beginning to redden.
Even though Rong Zhijian said no more, Rong Xingyu understood the implication.
When it placed side by side, the two assignments looked exactly like he had tried to be lazy by copying the other person’s data and plagiarized their work.
Rong Xingyu’s throat tightened. He looked at Rong Zhijian and said with difficulty.
