Truth Of The Forgotten Age-7-08: Forest of Vauxterel I

An Elf was right in front of them. An Elf who may mean to do them harm. The captain went to draw her sword, but Veronica stopped her as quick as she could.
"
Leista fel vi est?!
" The Elf woman spoke in her mother tongue. Possibly trying to throw the outsiders off.
"
Leista vi est sa lok ska, gii dai.
" Veronica responded.
"
Jii
, not gii. Why does a human know our language?" She was a but more relaxed, but still weary.
"We've come to create peace between the two of us. Specifically by getting rid by the group that's trying to restart the war." Veronica answered.
The Elven woman scoffed and turned, motioning for the group to follow.
"Ver, when did you learn their language?" Cassidy asked, staying behind her crush. "And I swear, if you say 'books' I will buy the biggest strap-on I can find and fuck you with it."
For a moment, Veronica thought about it. She had wondered what it would be like, though, considering she's only hand some fingers, the biggest one Cassidy can find might be a bit too much.
"But it was. I mean, I had a lot of books to read while I was bedridden, and I was filled with curiosity. I had some books about Elves, and a couple of them weren't translated. So I... kinda learned it from all the books..."
Cassidy sighed as she just accepted it.
"Your Elvish is quite good for learning off of books only. Some minor mistakes, but those can be... fixed." The Elvish woman said, never looked back at the girls.
The captain and Priestess stayed silent. At this point, their silence might be the only thing saving them from being killed. Though, Aviris looked uneasy.
"It seems like you weren't the only one keeping an eye on us." Aviris said, looking up at the trees.
"Of course not. We can't risk humans picking us off one by one. If you decided to fight back..."
"We would've become human pincushions."
"Precisely."
The path was winding and ever changing. Without a guide, they would be lost permanently.
However, when the forest parted, the girls were in awe. Even their temporary companions were left speechless.
All the houses, sheds, shops and every other structure was one with the trees. It was as if they grew in such a way to be perfectly hollowed out in that shape. And the scene stretched on and on. It seemed like it could be been bigger than the forest itself.
"We prefer nature over modern living. Thankfully, with magic, we're able to get the same benefits as your human civilizations without harming our world. It baffles us, as you have access to the same magic, yet prefer to cut down trees and replace them with stone walls and foul smelling ditches. The world has provided everything for us for a reason." She went on, explaining everything as of Elves were better than humans. And, she had a point.
"We're here for talks of peace, not tree hugging." The captain had dared to open her mouth.
"And yet, what do you see here? I see peace. I see the people working together and help each other. Our culture has always been at peace with each other. Even with the other countries of Elves, not once have we tried to kill each other for land. You go to war over petty disagreements. While we live peacefully."
No screaming, no yelling. Just laughter and casual conversation. Veronica thought on various way she could try and turn the kingdom just as peaceful. Though, human nature is difficult to fight against.
The woman led the girls to what could be best described as a mansion-shaped tree. She led them through various rooms filled with unique architecture and art before stopping before another room.
"You will wait out here. I have to inform the council of everything first."
Finally, the girls breathed a sigh of relief. Things could not have gone better.
