Major Lan was a little shocked as he still couldn’t believe what Wen Zhang had just said out loud.
"She can learn things. It’s just very slow... I had to replace the 7th phone at this point, just to try to teach her to take a photo."
"So she’s the one who took this picture?" Major Lan questioned as he threw the phone back into Wen Zhang’s hand.

As Major Lan watched Wen Zhang hand the phone over to his wife, her sharp fingernail instantly disappeared as her hands returned to normal.
She began to tap on the phone with one finger, pressing the setting by accident as Wen Zhang face-palmed himself.
"Come on, don’t open the setting. The photo app is this one. The black border with the little circle. You see it?"
Seeing Wen Zhang trying to teach his wife as if she were a toddler, he suddenly felt a little embrassed thinking back to how she almost took his life away.
"There you go. Now, remember what button to press? Wait, wait, wait, aim the camera at the person, not the floor."
After a long struggle, the phone finally snapped a picture of Major Lan as she looked back at Wen Zhang, waiting for him to say something.
"Good job. Now remember not to drop your phone on the floor. I don’t have any more to replace it with."
"O-O-O-K-A-Y."
Chun Mei’s voice immediately made Major Lan take a step back as it almost sounded like someone scratching on a broken record.

As a soldier rushed into the balcony, he was a little stunned as he didn’t expect a mysterious woman with only a long shirt.

"What a nice Saturday break..."
Xiaoyun was fully leaned back onto the sofa, his shoulder feeling all relaxed as Anna’s hand massaged his muscle just about right.
"Don’t say that. The last time you thought you were having a nice break, you went out to deal with an emergency again."
Yuqi murmured, her face looking a little concerned as she just couldn’t help but have a bad feeling for the entire morning since she had woken up.
"There’s literally nothing that could make me move. All I had to do for the next few weeks was sit at home and wait for things to get done."
"Mhm... I’m going to predict you’re going to get a phone call from Houqin later." Nami dared as she tickled Xuanhua in her arms.
"She’s busy picking up her parent from Changsha. There’s no way she’s going to call me when she’s out of the office for the day."
"I hope so..."
Leyan murmured, her face looking just as concerned as Yuqi’s as she tightly held onto Yongyi, who was half asleep on her arms.
"Can I turn on the TV? I’m so bored." Kate complained as she started rolling back and forth on the sofa.
"Wenwen and Bingbing are asleep right now. Can you be quiet?" Shuli warned as she looked over to Kate with a hint of anger.
"Sorry... Wuli, you want to go play cards?"
"Do I look like I can?"
Seeing both of them holding their sleeping baby in their arms, Kate turned her attention over to Tianci, who had been looking a little zoned out the whole time.
"Tianci, what are you looking at?"
"N-Nothing. I was just thinking about some work stuff... Is there something I can do for you?"
"You want to play cards? Or just anything away from the living room?" Kate asked as she got up from the sofa.
"Um... I’m good."
As Tianci leaned back onto the sofa and zoned out again, Kate turned over to the last person in the room who looked remotely free.
"Lily, you want to play cards?"
"I... I want to brother Xiaoyun."
Seeing her scooch over to sit next to him, Kate only let out a sigh as she looked over to the back of the sofa.
"Anna, why are you being so nice to this idiot? C’mon, let’s go play some cards."
"Don’t call our husband an idiot... Babe, what do you think about my massages?" Anna softly asked, her eyes filled with affection.
"It’s great. My muscles never felt so relieved... You tired? You can sit down if you want." Xiaoyun warmly suggested.
"I’m good."
Seeing the two being so nice to each other, Kate finally couldn’t endure it as she got up from the sofa and started heading towards the kitchen.
"Where are you going?" Xiaoyun curiously asked.
"Finding something to do——"
"Careful. Don’t forget you’re holding a life in your body." Leyan warned out loud as Kate froze for a second.
"I know!"
Watching her disappear into the kitchen, Leyan gently puts Yongyi down onto the sofa before pulling Anna to sit back down.
"Hey! What’s that for?" Xiaoyun grumpily questioned, his face looking a little annoyed as the massages stopped.
"Dummy, go talk to Kate. Don’t just sit here. Do I need to tell you what you need to do every time?" Leyan coldly replied.
"Talk to her for what?"
"You really are just as dumb as a brick... Do you think Kate is in a good mood right now?"
"No?"
"And why’s that?"
"Um... how am I supposed to know that?"
"Think with your head. What had been happening to her for the past week that could make her feel unhappy?"
As Xiaoyun sat still and thought about it for a bit, he finally came up with an answer that sounded logical.
"Is she unhappy because of pregnancy mood swings?"
"No, you dummy. Even I know why she looks so unhappy. How could you be this smoothbrain when it comes to women?"
Yueyue’s insult didn’t make Xiaoyun angry at all. Instead, he had only gotten more confused as he couldn’t think of any other reason.

As Leyan shoved Xiaoyun to go, he looked back at his wives for a second, who all waved for him to go ahead.

As Xiaoyun walked into the kitchen, he couldn’t find Kate. So he continued walking down before seeing her standing by the glass door.
"Kate, you okay?"
"I’m fine. I’m just bored... Xiaoyun, do you ever wish you had never met me?"
The question caught him a little off guard, but he quickly recovered as he walked up right next to her.
"Why are you asking that?"
"I just felt like sometimes I’m just a liability. Everything around me always somehow goes wrong, and it feels like——"

"Of course not."
Despite Kate’s straightforward answer, Xiaoyun could feel it was only a partial truth. He quickly realized Leyan was right on the money.

Seeing her standing there looking a little sad, Xiaoyun pulled her closer before giving her a warm hug.
"You’re not leeching off anyone. You had worked hard to get here... If it weren’t for you, none of us would be as successful as we are today."
