While going back to the ninth army headquarters Ryzel still continued making some potions while Lyre also started making potions for his quota.
Most of the time they would only meet at lunchtime when all of them were eating together or when Lyre finished his daily quota ahead.
If Lyre finished his quota ahead, he would most like to come and visit him in his laboratory and to just chat or rant about his quota.
As an S level guide, the quota he needed to meet was a lot compared to the other guides.
His quota is actually very reasonable, and Lyre knew it too. He just wanted to complain most of the time because he wanted to be lazy.

So, before arriving at the ninth army headquarters the mothership was full of interns from different planets.
However, even though the ship was full of interns it wasn’t even that noisy as they were all busy doing their assigned tasks.
After a few days they finally arrived at the ninth army headquarters.
All the interns were assigned to their own living area within the ninth army headquarters except for those who already have a partner. Which is why he was currently with Lyre who was looking around everywhere.
He didn’t need to arrange any of his luggage for the time being like the other interns because Mervin was still working. So, he dragged him around to sight see.
Lyre wasn’t that interested in the ninth army headquarters so after looking around for a bit he asked him to show him around the malls.
"We will go to the shopping area, for the time being," Ryzel said to Layton Lewis.
"Ok, after we are done here, we will pick both of you later on."
So, both of them said goodbye to Layton Lewis and Mervin as they went out of the army headquarters accompanied by his usual bodyguards.
"Oh, they have a decent shopping area here. I was worried for a moment that they don’t have a shopping area here because it is on the frontier," Lyre said while looking at the shopping area.
"Of course that would be impossible. Even if its in the frontlines as the planet where the ninth army headquarters is located a shopping area should be a basic part of it."
As soon as they reached the shopping area Lyre immediately went browsing different things such as clothes, daily necessities and other things.
"Ry look at this, it looks good on me, right?"
"What about this?"
"What should I buy this red or this green mug?"
"This hat looks good!"
"Oh, this looks good on you! Why don’t you try it Ry!"
"Should I buy this curtain?"
"I think I need to buy more shirts."
"I’ll buy these flowers first."
Lyre went on and on buying different things while dragging him along the shopping area.
Thankfully all the things they bought were for delivery, if not Ryzel was sure that the things Lyre bought wouldn’t even fit in their hovercar.
With Lyre dragging him to different shops he was already very tired after three hours. Fortunately, Layton Lewis and Mervin came to get them afterwards.
The house of Mervin and Lyre was also near their house, so it would be very convenient to visit each other’s place later on.
"Ugh, I’m tired. Lyre is really too enthusiastic when it comes to shopping," Ryzel said while leaning on Layton Lewis on the sofa.
"You should have rested for a bit if your too tired."
"I didn’t have time to rest because he kept dragging me elsewhere."
"Next time if he invited you to shop you could just tell him to go with Mervin that way you won’t be too tired."
"Yeah, I’ll do that. I wasn’t able to refuse him today because it was sudden, and it was his first day here next time I won’t accompany him."
When they were in the capital star, Ryzel always looked for different reasons not to accompany Lyre in his shopping spree because of how tired he would be afterwards.
That’s why in the capital he would only accompany Lyre if all his reasons not to go with him was exhausted.
It was his first day in the planet so when he requested to go visit the shopping area Ryzel didn’t disagree but now he regrated it. It seems that because he didn’t accompany Lyre for a long time, he forgot Lyre’s habit when shopping. Next time, he would really just let Mervin accompany Lyre on his shopping spree, they are partners anyway.
"That would be better, just let him go with Mervin."
Layton Lewis prepared their dinner so after he finished eating his meal and resting for a while Ryzel started guiding Layton Lewis.
"Your mental sea is really very wide. I’ve been guiding you for a few months already but still haven’t been able to completely remove the pollutants in your mental sea," Ryzel said after getting out of Layton Lewis mental sea.
"Thanks for your hard work," Layton Lewis said while embracing him.
"It is what I’m supposed to do. Do you still feel pain because of the pollutants in your mental sea?"
The pollutants in Layton Lewis mental sea have been calm and they weren’t raging like the first time he saw but their numbers were still very large as they still covered a lot of Layton Lewis mental sea.
"Don’t worry, it doesn’t feel painful anymore. I can still feel them accumulated in my mental sea, but they aren’t rampaging anymore. I don’t feel the pollutants grating on my mind any longer. So, I already feel better even though my mental sea isn’t cleaned up yet."
"That’s great! Don’t worry as long as I continue guiding your mental sea would be cleaned up eventually."
Looking at the place he should clean up and the area he had cleaned up it may take a year before he could clean up all the pollutants in Layton Lewis mental sea as it is very deep and wide.
"Thank you," Layton Lewis said sincerely.
"Never mind, oh yeah, it seems that Maximus wanted to go out," Ryzel said as he remembered Maximus roaring at Layton Lewis mental sea.
"It’s not that he wanted to be out, he just wanted to see Liya," Layton Lewis said in certainty.
Generally, only the master of the quantum beast could understand their own quantum beast but for partners who have each other’s mark they could understand a few meaning of their partners quantum beast.
As the partner of Layton Lewis, he could understand a few meaning maximus wanted to express because of the mark.
For the past few months Maximus and Liya also got to know each other but unfortunately Liya prefers staying in his mental sea rather than going out. So, Maximus and Liya don’t often see each other.
Quantum beasts often appear when their owners’ emotions are at a heightened rate or when they are summoned to join the battlefield or do other things. In other times they normally stay in their owners’ mental sea.
Ryzel also learned that for guide and sentinel pairs their quantum beasts would also often want to be together, so their frequent appearance is to be expected. However, Ryzel’s quantum beasts Liya prefers to stay in his mental sea and doesn’t want to go out.
"Oh, I’ll see if Liya wanted to go out."
Ryzel tried to persuade Liya to come out, but Liya really doesn’t want to, so he said, "I’m sorry but Liya doesn’t want to come out."
"It’s okay if he doesn’t want to come out then it doesn’t matter," Layton Lewis said relaxedly.
"Liya really prefers staying in my mental sea, I’ll just tell you if he wanted to come."
"Ok, I will just remind Maximus about it"
Ryzel felt a bit sorry for Maximus, it seems that Maximus wanted to play with Liya however Liya prefers staying in his mental sea and doesn’t want to come out.
"How about you just bring him out? I can play with him for a bit," Ryzel said as he felt sorry for Maximus.
"No need, just let him stay in my mental sea. If he wants to play the forest, there is wide enough for him to play with."
"I see, I just felt a little sorry for him."
"No need to feel sorry for him. If you have time to play with him then it is better to spend it with me."
