After a few days of staying in the ninth army base Lyre was finally able to settle down and didn’t disturb him every day.
In the past few days, he would often go to his to chat or just to sit around but after a few days he finally met a lot of different people making him busy chatting with them while also completing his quota.
Lyre was a very social person, that’s why he knew that he could easily make a lot of friends as long as he wanted to.
After a few days of staying in the ninth army he got to know most of the people he was working with or the people he often sees.
He finally didn’t have enough time to wander around his laboratory after finishing his daily quota.
He finally didn’t disturb him every day aside from having their lunch together. He could finally start his research with peace of mind.
This time he was making a stronger stabilizer that would be effective for S level sentinels. His target was to make stabilizers that would be effective for 2S level sentinels as well.
The mental power of 3S level sentinels is not just twice that of 2S level sentinels so he even if he wanted to make something that would be effective for Layton Lewis he knew that it was currently impossible.
The strength of the herbs he found, even if he combined it with the others won’t be enough for 3S level mental power. That’s why he was setting his goal for the stabilizers to be effective for those that have S and 2S mental power level.
He started studying the herbs he separated when he was researching stronger stabilizers for lower-level sentinels. He already studied most of the herbs while he was doing his past research.
Now, he only needed to study the pants he separated for his current research. All the plants he separated have stronger effects compared to the herbs he used in his last research.
So, for the following days Ryzel kept testing the effects of the plants he had. He kept studying their composition and strengthening their stabilizing effects by combining them with different herbs.
He continued focusing on his research and after a few weeks he finally came up with the best combination of herbs that could effectively work even for 2S level guides according to the results of the data simulation.
Unlike his last research where he produced at least 3 working stabilizers that could all work and pass the tests.
Now, he only made one that has the least side effect just like other potions and it is the only one that could work for 2S level sentinels.
He made some more stabilizers of course but they all have terrible side effects for example one of the stabilizers he made really worked for 2S level sentinels according to the simulation, but it also paralyzed some nerves of the sentinel which is vital when they are controlling mechas.
Another stabilizer he made was indeed successful, but its side effect shown through the simulation is for them to be unable to have a child.
To those that won’t be considering having a child and to those that were really in desperate need of the stabilizer it could be considered as successful because such an effect isn’t that unbearable.
However, Lyre doesn’t want such obvious defects in potions so finally he only has one stabilizer that could be considered as successful through the data simulations as it only has the same side effects as other potions. It only leaves some of its traces in their mental sea.
After hundreds of trials via data simulations Ryzel finally ed his findings to Layton Lewis and Mr. Hanes.
However, in his he marked one of the herbs he used. One of the herbs he used doesn’t have a name yet, so he doesn’t know how much supply is available of it.
He received the herbs as part of the rewards he got from guiding the sentinels in the ninth army. So, he wasn’t sure about the availability of the herb that’s why he marked it down.
It has the best effect among all the herbs he used as a catalyst in joining all the herbs together, so he needed to find the herb.
With the previous trial of the stabilizers, he made for those sentinels with lower-level mental power he at least has confidence that the potion he made for those sentinels with higher level mental power could also be as effective just like the results in the data simulations.
The thing he wasn’t sure about was the herb he used for his potions.
The herb he received was considered to be a lot as he was able to try and make a lot of potions out of it so at least he was sure that the quantity of the herb wasn’t small because the person who gave it to him got a lot of it.
He only needed to wait for Layton Lewis and Mr. Hanes to read what he submitted so that he could ask them about the herb. He was sure that they would surely come to his laboratory just like the last time.
Knock, knock
"Ryzel, I’m coming in."
"You sure came here fast even faster than last time," Ryzel said with a smile while looking at Layton Lewis who just came in his laboratory.
"Your is lesser than the last one you submitted so I finished reading it earlier."
Before he could even reply he heard Mr. Hanes outside the door.
"Mr. Ryzel, may I enter."
"Please come in Mr. Hanes," Ryzel replied.
"Hello, General Lewis, Mr. Ryzel, it seems that the two of us are here again because of your research Mr. Ryzel!" Mr. Hanes said excitedly.
"Hello, Mr. Hanes, nice meeting you again," Ryzel said while Layton Lewis nodded his head to acknowledge Mr. Hanes.
"Ryzel have you really finished your research already?" Mr. Hanes asked.
"Yes, I used the plants I separated in my last research, and I already have an idea on what plants I needed that’s why I was able to make the stabilizer faster than my last research."
"I see, you made something amazing again this time!" Mr. Hanes praised.
"Yes, indeed. You did something amazing again in just a few weeks," Layton Lewis also said.
"Thank you, however this time I ran into a little problem. Have you seen the herb I marked in my ?"
"It seems that you used an unnamed herb," Mr. Hanes said.
"Yes, I used an herb from the rewards I received as I found out that it has amazing properties. This is the herb I am talking about. Do you this herb Mr. Hanes?" Ryzel said while showing the herb he got from his storage space.
"I haven’t seen this herb yet," Mr. Hanes said while looking at the herbs he showed.
"What about you Layton have you encountered this herb?"
"No, this is the first time I am seeing it. However, if it is an herb you got as a reward there should be a record on the sender."
"That’s great! This herb is a very important component of the stabilizing potion I made. So, we really need to find it."
"Wait for a bit I’ll ask them to send the record of your reward list," Layton Lewis said while sending a message to the people who were responsible in recording his rewards.
Thankfully, Layton Lewis let someone manage his regards so all the herbs he received were listed together with the sender.
"I read the you made and saw that all the herbs you used were all herbs with effects and were not commonly used," Mr. Hanes said.
"Yes, most of the herbs I used were rarer than the common herbs I used for my research last time.
The herbs have great effects, but they are indeed more expensive as the cost of the potions I made is 15 times higher compared to the 2.1 stabilizers."
"Don’t worry as long as it is effective, the people would still be willing to buy it. They also would guarantee that all the herbs would be in supply," Layton Lewis said.
"Yes, those sentinels have a lot of star coins they would of course be willing to buy such potions as it is related to their survival. No one would say anything because of its price. You also don’t need to worry about the supply of the herbs because they would willingly send it," Mr. Hanes also added.
"I see."
Ryzel wasn’t worried that the sentinels wouldn’t be able to afford the potion because as S and 2S level sentinels they would surely have higher salaries because of their capability and position.
He was just a bit worried about the supply of the herbs when they are going to mass produce the potion. With the guarantee of Layton Lewis and Mr. Hanes he wasn’t worried anymore.
