"I want to see the growth environment of the herb as there is still no data about it. I also wanted to take this opportunity to look and study other plants that are on Planet 125," Ryzel answered.
Ryzel had actually wanted to visit the real environments of the plants he has been using for his potions. Aside from making potions he was also interested in researching new plants that could be used to make potions.
Unfortunately, he had no opportunity because he knew it might be dangerous to go to the different planets where the herbs he wanted to study are.
Now that he knew that they needed to go to Planet 125, he also wanted to join to see the plants on that planet.
Layton Lewis looked at him for a long time and finally after waiting for a while he finally spoke.
"Okay, I agree."
"Really? Thanks! Don’t worry I will surely stay close with my bodyguards," Ryzel said with a wide smile.
He knew that Layton Lewis didn’t agree immediately because he was worried about his safety.
"Of course you need to always stay with your bodyguards. However, you don’t need to be too worried because I will also be going with you."
"Huh? You are also going? Is that okay?"
"Yes, let’s just say it’s part of our patrol duties. No one would care about it anyway. If they knew that we going to look for an important herb you are going to use to make such a useful stabilizer no one would say anything," Layton Lewis explained.
"Oh, that’s great! With you there my safety won’t be any problem. So, when are we going to go to Planet 125," Ryzel said happily.
"We can go 2 days later. Within 2 days everything we need could be properly arranged. I will let Mr. Hanes decide on other personnel that would go with us to study the living environment of the plant."
"I need to prepare what to wear? How is the weather in Planet 125?"
"You don’t need to worry about it. You are going to wear protective clothes which could adapt to the environment.
Your physique is too weak to completely, you won’t be able to adapt with the varying temperature, gravity and other weather conditions on such a border planet unlike us Sentinels."
"Ok, if I wear protective clothes then I would just wear my military uniform."
As part of the ninth army, he also had a uniform as part of the medical center, however he didn’t even wear it because he was always staying in his laboratory.
Those that are part of the medical center don’t really need to wear their military uniform as most of the time they wear laboratory coats. They also weren’t required to wear their uniform as long as they dressed appropriately.
As most of the members of the medical center are guides it is actually one of their perks because most guides don’t want to wear military uniform which everyone wears. Most of the time they would only need to wear their uniform in formal meetings.
"Yes, it’s better to wear your military uniform as it also has protective elements added in it. Then, I will go and prepare what we need. Don’t forget to set your alarm again for your physique training," Layton Lewis reminded.
"Don’t worry I won’t forget it."
Within a few months of exercise his physique finally improved to E+ so he knew that his daily workout is effective so of course he won’t forget his daily time for exercise.
Now, Layton Lewis is also teaching him a few self-defense techniques aside from his routine exercises.
After Layton Lewis left Ryzel continued making the stabilizers for higher level sentinels using the remaining herbs, he only left enough herbs as a sample.
He needed to make potions because once they found the herbs they would surely want to produce the stabilizers on a large scale.
So, it is better to make some potions out of the remaining herbs to prepare for the potions that would be used for the real trial.
For the next days, Layton Lewis arranged their trip to Planet 125. He actually finished arranging it in one morning, however they needed to wait for the guides and other personnel from the medical center to prepare the things they needed.
After 2 days they were finally set to go to Planet 125.
"See you later Ry! Be sure to be back in one piece," Lyre said while looking at him with envious eyes.
"Don’t worry I’ll be sure to return in one piece. With Layton and all the bodyguards around me I will surely return in one piece, you don’t need to worry at all," Ryzel said nonchalantly knowing that Lyre actually wasn’t that worried about him.
"Why can’t I go with you. I also wanted to visit Planet 125 and study the plants in there."
"Don’t pretend I know you just want to visit the Planet," Ryzel said knowingly.
As soon as Lyre knew that he would be going somewhere he immediately said that he also wanted to go.
After knowing that he would be going to Planet 125 Lyre was even excited and wanted to follow.
He was sure that Lyre just wanted to see what Planet 125 looked like with his own eyes.
Unfortunately, he doesn’t have any decent reason to go together with them and he is also currently completing his quota as an intern so he couldn’t really go with them.
"Next time I will surely go with you."
"Yes, you better wait for your next chance to go out. Don’t worry, I won’t forget to take pictures of Planet 125 for you," Ryzel said comfortingly.
After saying goodbye to Lyre, Ryzel finally boarded the battleship together with other people who will also go with them.
As Lieutenant General Ren was going with them, all the combatants and other staffs are from his unit aside from the people who came from the medical center and his bodyguards. The battleship they were in was also from their unit, but he was surprised to see that the ship also has a dedicated room for Layton Lewis.
"You also have a room here?"
"Yes, I told them not to set aside such a room, but they all said that they can’t treat their General that way.
The other generals all have such privilege so they also insisted that I should also have it. So, in the ninth army spaceships I have a room in all of it starting from the medium spaceships.
So, even if we change ship or you go somewhere without me you could always stay in my room that they have prepared," Layton Lewis explained.
He didn’t know all the generals had such privilege which could be considered as a waste of space because such a room wouldn’t be used normally. It could even be said that most of them wouldn’t be used for a lifetime.
Keeping such a room, which could have been used as a space for one more soldier, could be considered extremely inefficient. That’s why Ryzel could understand why Layton Lewis wanted none of it. However, it seemed that all of his subordinates don’t want to lessen any of his supposed to be privilege.
It is indeed not entirely useless because they could use it now and he would always have a room in any battleship he would go into.
He wouldn’t need to worry about a place to stay and doesn’t need other people to always arrange a room for him when they were going to use other battleships.
"Well, anyway at least we could use it now," Ryzel said while sitting on the sofa in the room.
"Yes, at least it could be used now," Layton Lewis agreed.
"How long are we going to travel?"
"We could reach Planet 125 in just 12 hours. So, you can rest first because as soon as we reach Planet 125, we would start exploring the planet immediately."
"Okay, then I will just stay here and relax."
"Ok, I will just go and arrange somethings for our exploration in Planet 125. I will be back later."
After Layton Lewis went out, Ryzel just stayed in the room and started browsing news online.
It seems that a lot of people were still discussing the marriage of Lyre and Mervin including their marriage.
A lot of people were saying that the luck of the ninth army finally came after many years. The ninth army was famous as a bachelor army because no one wanted to go there, especially the guides.
Then, with just a few months in between, their two top ranking military officers suddenly got married.
Their marriage partners even have a high compatibility rate with them.
So, a lot of people are saying that the ninth army suddenly got some of their luck back and if their luck continues maybe the other soldiers in their army would also have their own partners.
