Mated To My Best Friend's Lycan Alpha Brothers-Chapter 350: Be A Good Girl

Chapter 350

Chapter 350: Be A Good Girl
(Myra’s POV)
"Where is this? Where did you take me to?" I asked Dion while staring at him with a deadpan expression as he held a spoon right in front of me.
"This~ .... This is a private villa," he told me with a smile and then extended his hand as the spoon touched my lips. The warm soup made my dry labium moist instantly. He then murmured, "You don’t have to be on your guard around me. I haven’t added anything suspicious to it."
When I opened my mouth to give him a reply, he fed me a spoonful of soup and then beamed like a child, asking, "So~ .... How is it? Do you like it? This is the~ .... first time I made something on my own." He sounded nervous, but I wasn’t in the mood to chit chat with him or have dinner. I wanted some answers and to get out of this place and back to my family.
I ignored his question, backed away and asked my own, "Why did you bring me here?"
He set the bowl on the bedside table and said with a seemingly concerned face, "You know how scared I was~ ... to see you in that state. After that episode, you fainted~ .... so, I had no choice but to bring you to my temporary residence."
As soon as his words hit me, I recalled myself crying hysterically and then him wrapping his arms around me, consoling me. That moment made me purse my lips as I thought, ’One brother pricks needles on my wounds while the other tries to swathe it. What games are you two trying to play here?’
"Why didn’t you bring me to a hospital?" I threw another question at him.
"Hospitals are~ ... noisy and discomforting. So, I asked the doctor to come here. He said you fainted because of lack of sleep and exhaustion. Myra~ .... you don’t have to push yourself too hard, umm."
He tried to hold my hand, but I pulled it back before he could. Then I declared, "Mr. Everests, I want to go back to my home."
Dion didn’t say anything for a few seconds. His calm expression made me full with anxiety. Then, after a round of complete silence, he finally uttered, "That can’t happen."
His words put my mind on high alert, ’Can’t happen?’ I blurted, "I am not asking for your permission, Mr. Everests. I~ ... am~ .... going back to ’my home." My voice came out resolute as I tried to get out of bed.
"Myra~ .... don’t move around. You need rest in a peaceful and quiet place," he tried to convince me, but I wasn’t having any of it. I got up and instantly felt my legs going weak as I stumbled and started falling down.
But the next second, I felt Dion’s hands caging me in his arms as he mumbled, his hot breath fanning against my face, "I told you, didn’t I. Your body is weak. You need to rest, hmm."
I mumbled, "Staying here, in a closed up space with you, would neither give me any kind of peace nor any quiet. It would only make me restless. I want to leave." I made my intentions clear and tried to get up, but he didn’t let go of me. His grip on me only tightened.
A freaking squeal escaped my mouth when he picked me up off the floor, "*Yelp!* .... Dion Everests~ .... Let me go. I said I want to go to my home." I struggled, trying to get out of his firm hold, but that guy, he didn’t budge.
Although out of all the Everests brothers, he looks the least burly and is more on the leaner side, his hold was tight on me, like a vice. He muttered, while placing me back on the bed, "Be a good girl and stay still."
I snatched my hand back forcefully and instantly felt pain searing in my elbow. That’s when I noticed both my elbows were neatly wrapped with gauge. The moment made me hiss instinctively, "Tsssskkkkkk~ ... Argghhhhh."
"Myra~ .... See, that’s why I was telling you to stay still. You are injured," Dion approached me once again, but I stopped him, "Don’t~ .... Don’t touch me."
His hands stopped midair, and I felt his intense gaze directed at me. I glared back, raising my head just a little, trying to show my defiant side. Trying to show~ .... That I won’t back down no matter what.
None of us said anything. Only the sound of our breathing and a distant chirping of cicadas and crickets filled the room with profound silence. I was about to break the quietness, but my stomach had some other, totally ignominious plans. It rumbled and gurgled, a vicious act of embarrassing me thoroughly.
My eyes fluttered, and my face totally flushed as I broke eye contact with him, which was followed by a light hearted chuckle from him, "Hahha~ .... You know, your stomach is more honest than your mouth. Alright, I will listen to you. But first~ ... you need to finish the bowl of soup. Ummhmm."
Despite the humiliating moment, I tried to protest once again, "I said~ ...." But he shut me off, "I heard what you said the first time, Myra. I am not asking for much. Just please~ ... have this, and I will listen to you. Now~ ... here~" He tried to feed me the soup again, but I muttered, "I will do it myself," and took the bowl from him.
After downing it in one go, I coughed a little, and I heard him say, "Easy there~ .... Do you have a flight to catch or something?" He started wiping my lips with a small towel, but I didn’t let him and rubbed it off with my sleeve. Then, handing him over the bowl, I said, "Here~ .... Finished~ .... Now, I want to go home." I said as calmly and with aloofness as I could.
He exhaled a sigh and uttered, "Myra~ .... Actually~ .... the truth is~ ... we are a bit far away from Esteria. And I don’t have my car with me right now. One of my assistants has taken it to run an errand."
Though he was calm and sounded sincere, I could tell that it was all just a scheme, so I enunciated, "No problem~ .... I can book a cab." After saying this, I tried to look for my phone and realized, I didn’t have it with me. I gave my forehead a smashing smack internally and cursed, ’Does this luck thing have some sort of beef with me? Why am I the only one stuck in such situations? What a fucking mess.’
Steeling myself, I extended my right palm and spoke, "Mr. Everests, I need your phone to book a cab because I don’t have any."
Strangely enough, the guy who has been trying to stop me since the start, handed me his phone just like that. He even unlocked it for me. For a nanosecond, I was a bit taken aback. Then, my eyes landed on the time on the screen as I couldn’t help but cuss out loud, "WHAT THE FUCK! ... It’s nine thirty already?" I glanced around the room, but as the windows were drawn, I couldn’t tell it was dark out there.
Dion mumbled softly, "Ummhmm~ .... You have been sleeping for almost nine hours."
Nine hours? I have been away from home since NINE FUCKING HOURS? Ohh my gosh~ .... Mom~ ... Dad~ ... Wendy~ ... Yelena~ ... everyone must be freaking out and searching for me. Shit~ .... I will have a lot of explaining to do. First, let’s book a cab, and then I will give a call at home to tell them that I am safe. Hmm, let’s do that.
Thinking like this, I looked for the app but forgot whose phone I was using. Dion Everests~ ... certainly doesn’t need to book a cab or something, does he? I tapped on the Play Store app, but it only buffered endlessly. There was no reception on the device, nor any WiFi signal.
All this meant only one thing as I raised my head to see Dion. Now, I know why he didn’t say anything and gave his phone to me so easily. He already knew. A fresh surge of rage coursed through me, but I held it in, ’Myra Miracle, you can’t lose your temper right now. Your first priority is to get out of this place. For that, you need to stay calm and collected.’
Clearing my throat, I feigned innocence, "Mr. Everests, there is no signal. How can I book a cab?"
He pursed his lips and spoke, "Ohh~ ... I forgot to tell you that. Umm~ ... and that means~ ... you can’t book any kind of cab from here." He sounded regretful, but this lot of bloody wolfman, I know he was messing around with me. His cunningness, it has no bounds. That is eventually how the Everests lied to me about their identity in the first place. I cannot trust them. At least, not the brothers.
