Regression - Second Chance At Life-Chapter 187: Held By The Wrist

Chapter 187

Chapter 187: Held By The Wrist
With the staff’s help, Adam manages to find a nice empty spot to park his car. There are a few more expensive-looking cars around, definitely owned by other rich kids who are here for the concert.
They get out of his car and head to gate no 3.
The crowd is growing larger as the more important and famous bands are about to take the stage.
Adam follows Lana as she looks around for her friend when they arrive at gate three.
Lana’s searching gaze finally locks onto a group of people. She gets excited and runs towards them. Adam follows her with fast steps while keeping his eyes on her.
He sees Lana run straight into a boy’s arms and kiss him deep, tongue and all. As for the boy she just kissed, he doesn’t bother being modest with her either. He is really touchy with his hands, squeezing Lana’s ass as he kisses her.
Adam doesn’t care when he sees this. He is not so different after all. He, too, loves getting handsy with his lovers. Since Lana is dating the guy, he doesn’t care how touchy they both get with each other.
He slowly approaches the group.
Seeing a very handsome young man approach them, everyone in the group locked their eyes on Adam. The two girls, other than Lana, can’t help but check out Adam from head to toe, admiring how good he looks.
But then they get surprised as Adam just doesn’t walk past them, but stands right before them, looking at them with his curious eyes.
Lana, who’s been sucking on her boyfriend’s face, finally takes her lips off him, which allows her boyfriend to see Adam.
"Who are you?" He asks, seeing Adam stand very close to Lana.
Lana turns to look at Adam and makes an annoyed sound. "He’s with me," Lana says before Adam can even answer.
"Lana, I didn’t know you knew someone so handsome. Is he your cousin or something?" One of the girls, who has her hair dyed blue, says that she can’t take her eyes off Adam.
"He is not my cousin; he is a family friend. My paranoid mom sent him to keep an eye on me," Lana says.
"Oooo, if I were you, I wouldn’t mind having someone like him keeping an eye on me the entire time," the blue-haired girl says, giving Adam a wink.
Adam just smiles at the girl.
She is decent-looking, but Adam is in no mood to entertain other women right now.
"Say, handsome, what’s your name again?" The blue-haired girl asks as she steps up to Adam.
"His name is Adam, he is around the same age as us, and he is a family friend, that’s all you guys need to know, stop bothering him and stop paying any attention to him," Lana speaks up again.
Adam just smiles. Lana is clearly very annoyed with his presence here and doesn’t want her friends to get close to him.
But from the looks he is getting from the blue-haired girl and the other girl, Adam knows they don’t take Lana’s words very seriously.
"Hey, my name’s Miley," The blue-haired girl says, extending her hand. "Nice to meet you, Miley, you already heard my name," Adam says, shaking her hand.
"Hi, I am Kally." The other girl also steps forward to introduce herself, seeing Miley getting cozy with Adam, she doesn’t want to miss out on getting to know Adam as well.
"Nice to meet you, too," Adam says, greeting Kally.
Seeing her friends try to cozy up to Adam even though she said not to entertain him annoyed Lana, but she couldn’t do anything, and she couldn’t blame her friends either. Deep down, she knew this would happen.
A guy like Adam would always be the center of attention wherever he goes. Her friends are no different.
While the girls seem very pleased with Adam’s presence, the guys, not so much.
One of the guys has a very sour look on his face, which Adam notices. This is not his first time seeing a guy make such a face. The guy probably has a crush on one of these two girls, well Adam doesn’t care.
He is going to forget this bunch after tonight, so it doesn’t matter to him what these people think of him.
"Let’s go in," Lana’s boyfriend says.
Hearing him, Adam looks at him to check him out properly. With Lana having her lips pressed against his for the past minute, Adam couldn’t get a read on the guy.
He has shoulder-length black hair, pale skin, brown eyes, good facial structure, and is tall as well, maybe an inch or two shorter than Adam, but still tall.
The guy also has tattoos on his neck, arms, and probably other parts of his body, which Adam has no interest in knowing about. But Adam has to give it to Lana; she has good taste in men when it comes to looks.
But what about personality? Adam doesn’t know. He isn’t a mind reader, but he should be able to get a read on the guy by watching how he acts and behaves.
"Yes! I am dying to go in~" Lana says, and is ready to leave, but Adam grabs her hand and stops her.
"Not so fast," he says, holding Lana back.
"Let go, what are you doing?" Lana asks as she finds Adam holding her by her wrist. She feels as if she’s been cuffed to a wall, as she can’t move even an inch from Adam.
"I told your mom that I wouldn’t leave you out of my sight," Adam says, justifying his actions.
"Then let’s go in. Why do you want to stay here?" Lana asks, annoyed.
"I have people coming, they will be here any moment," Adam says and takes out his phone.
"Dude, let go of my girl’s hand." Lana’s boyfriend suddenly steps in and grabs Adam’s hand, and tries to free Lana from his grip.
"Drake, it’s okay, we can wait a little longer." Seeing her boyfriend step up to Adam, Lana gets a little worried and tries to de-escalate.
"No, he needs to let go of you right now. So what if he is a family friend? No one has the right to hold my girl without my permission," Drake says.
Adam raises his browns, hearing Drake declare Lana as his. Adam finds it toxic, which is hypocritical of him because he would also say something similar if he were in Drake’s position, but of course, Adam doesn’t care if he is being hypocritical.
If he thinks something is wrong, then something is wrong.
"Fair, then you can take her place," Adam says, twists his wrist as soon as he lets go of Lana’s wrist, and wraps his fingers around Drake’s wrist.
"Since you are such a caring boyfriend, you can take her place," Adam says.
Drake is stunned, Lana is stunned. Everyone else is stunned as they see Adam now holding Drake by his wrist.
Drake starts feeling a sense of humiliation wash over him, hearing Adam’s words. He can see the way Adam is looking at him, as if he were someone insignificant.
In anger, he tries to yank his hand away from Adam’s grip, but just like Lana, he too feels as if he has been cuffed to an immovable wall.
Drake is stunned as Adam easily holds him in his place. Drake then grabs his hand with his other hand and once again tries to yank himself away from Adam, but it’s of no use. He doesn’t budge. Adam doesn’t budge.
Instead, Adam seems to be busy looking at his phone, not paying attention to Drake one bit.
Lana and her friends watch this happen with wide eyes. They see how Adam is holding down Drake with ease, as if he were handling a child.
"Let go of me, you bastard!" Drake says, gritting his teeth as he balls his other hand into a fist and is about to punch Adam, but Adam just pulls down on Drake’s hand and completely throws him off balance.
Drake almost falls flat on his face, but he is lucky to have Adam holding on to him; his pretty face doesn’t make contact with the hard floor.
Drake gets back to his feet and tries to throw a few more punches at Adam, but Adam uses his strength to make Drake run circles around him, while he tries his best not to get his feet tangled and fall as Adam is making him look like a fool.
It’s quite an embarrassing sight to watch as a grown man is literally being forced to stumble around like a child throwing a tantrum.
"Will you both stop!" Lana has had enough. She feels embarrassed for Drake as he has made a fool of himself by trying to stand up to Adam.
Even a few strangers are watching them and laughing at Drake right now.
Drake finally stops hearing Lana yell at him. He, too, realizes how embarrassing it was for him just now. He looks at Adam with his seething glare and sees Adam just give him a side eye before calling someone on his phone.
"Yes, where are you? I am at Gate 3. You are here? I don’t see you?... Wait, I think I do. Over here, I am holding a guy by his wrist. Yes, that’s me." Adam says and ends the call as he finally lets go of Drake’s wrist.
"See, that wasn’t so hard, was it?" Adam says to Drake with an innocent smile as Crill and Zydan walk up to Adam, along with a woman accompanying them.
